I have struggled with mainly meth addiction for 8 years or so. I was feeling so sick everyday. My body felt toxic, the meth wasnt giving me energy anymore, I was depleted. I was craving nature and nutrition.
I have been desiring to come to innerbalance for over 6 years now. I didn't have the money then. I went to 2 other rehabs before this one covered by medicaid instead. I honestly am thankful for all 3 of the rehabs I have been too. I have learned so much and after completing innerbalance and understanding all my underlying health issues and learning how to heal I finally believe I can move foward past addiction. I am so thankful and blessed to have gotten to come here. I haven't felt this good for a longtime. I feel joy again.
I have a solid recovery plan, relapse prevention plan and relapse plan. Everyone that works here is so encouraging and supportive. I have had so many laughs and good times here. I went to Northpoint in November of 2022. This facility offered an array of services and classes. This facility saved my life. The music classes were always my favorite and the food was amazing. There were art supplies and fun games to play to pass the time. I loved having my own room and bathroom. The staff was so nice and took care of me. They were there for good and bad moments. North point has been nothing but an amazing place for me to get away from all the mess and find myself again. The staff is the absolute best. So funny and super open/honest with everyone. Very understanding. The free time we were given outside of class to be outside in the beautiful weather and chat with other peers meant so much to me. This place really allowed me to open up to others, which has been a struggle for me for a long time now. And the outings to go to meetings and get a feel of what recover looks like outside of the facility has given me the courage to keep pursuing that after release and to go meet others in recovery and continue down this path. Summit Stone has been my first and only positive, beneficial, healthy experience in the world of recovery, loss/grief, and legal issues with DHS. Every single staff member here from the front desk, to my case manager, the nurses, therapists, peer specialists…and on and on and on! This place saved my life. The entire staff is incredible and I quickly built relationships with everyone. And I could go on and on about my counselor Lindsey. She’s incredible, literally the only person in my life I look forward to talking to twice a week. She’s hands down my absolute favorite person ever. I cannot recommend Creative Counseling enough. They have the best team of therapists there! Amber, Hailey, Daniel and Tiffany are amazing! I couldn’t have asked for anything more from any of them. I’ve been in classes since 2023 and at first it seemed like a chore that I didn’t want to do but it wasn’t like that for long. After a few months, I found myself looking forward to my classes because they really do everything that the classes are meant to do. I am beyond grateful for the treatment I received! Definitely worth every penny!

When I first came to this class I was terrified. I sat in the back watching from a distance. I didn’t want to participate, afraid I would be treated poorly. The receptionist was very understanding and helped me find a good counselor to work with. My counselor is great, he fit for my needs. The Jacob Center does not take their place in the community lightly. Coaches are trained and knowledgeable in subjects including trust intervention, resiliency, and trauma. Meetings between youths and families use community involvement to naturally encourage mindfulness and resiliency.
The goals and outcomes of coaching are recorded and monitored by DHS, leading to multiple levels of highly informed care.
The Jacob Center works hard to address the needs of the Northern Colorado community at an extremely sensitive level.

Serenity House is set at a key location in Loveland, CO. It's a great place to begin to rebuild with the balance of enough structure to keep centered and enough freedom to still experience a relatively normal life. I've been very comfortable since my arrival. The surrounding 12 step communities have arms wide open and are very close for those without transportation...very much recommended.

I first arrived at Serenity House in 2010 and had 4 previous Sober Living House experiences with which to compare it to, and Serenity House won. I ended up staying there for 6 months when I decided that I was fit for reentering normal society, but I relapsed quickly and hightailed it back to a sober room there. It’s easy to blame everyone and everything for a relapse except yourself, and I started to blame Serenity House for drinking again, but as my mind cleared I realized that the blame lies exclusively with the disease and me.
During the numerous times I’ve enthusiastically moved back to the Serenity House after making my life an alcoholic mess, I’ve always found it to be a safe, clean, and very tolerable place to begin or continue my recovery. The rules and responsibilities are sensible and reasonable. Presiding over a couple dozen addicts and/or alcoholics is like herding cats – it’s not always easy. Yes, it is a for-profit business, and yes, kudos to the owners for having a safe and comfortable place for us to get our act together.

I received info about connections from my PCP, looking for a way to find a counselor or therapist in my post-partum phase that accepted my insurance. I called and spoke to Kathy: she was warm and empathic and it truly felt like she cared about my well-being. I gave her my info, preferences of what kind of therapist I was looking for, and then that day or the next she sent me a list of providers that were in my insurance network. She did ALL the hard work. I picked one and began therapy. It’s one of the best things that’s ever happened to me. She even followed up a week or so later to make sure I was alright and able to connect with a therapist. This was almost a year ago. I tell anyone I’m able to about it because I truly believe this is such an incredible resource. Thank you!!!

Not sure why people are rating so poorly. I had a great therapist who helped me a lot, and on a sliding scale. Sure, the front-desk staff isn’t the friendliest, but I feel like it’s hard to stay optimistic when you’re in a Medicaid-supported counseling office.

I had been a problem drinker for years (let’s just be real: the worst drunk you can imagine). Although I had tried to quit several times before, I always ended up failing and winding “right back in the bottle.” While the outpatient rehabs were fine, they never prepared me for what came after: actually having to live and cope with what the world throws at you.
Even after a full year of sobriety I was still struggling when the VA referred me to New Hope. During my first session I was amazed that Toni understood addiction and where I was at with my struggle with my own mind and addiction to alcohol. I was willing to put in the work that Toni suggested and I am now experiencing a life I never thought I could have.
If you’ve had enough and are ready to change, give New Hope Counseling a try, it’s changed my life forever. As of the time of this review I am 3 years, 4 months sober, happy, and healthy.
