They also have extended care treatment for those who need more support before returning home to regular activities. Their top-rated residential treatment is appropriate for those who need more structured living
Wishope is unlike any other treatment facility I’ve been to or seen in my experience of reaching out for help with addiction. They offer so many benefits and opportunities to help everyone come together as a community and heal. Wishope takes each person individually and provides them with the care they need, because everyone has a different story and they understand that. Wishope saved my life and my perspective of AA and NA, along with the way I view myself and what I have to offer in this world. I wouldn’t be who I am or where I am in life without this program. Thank you Wishope!

Everything I was ever told before I went in the military, and when I was in, was to avoid the VA at all costs. And I did. Even for 14 years since I had gotten out. Then I had some medical stuff come up and I reached out to an Air Force buddy and he was shocked that I wasn't being treated at the VA. I called the 1-800 number for eligibility, and had an appointment scheduled the next day. I get that every VA probably is a little nuanced, but the Milwaukee location has been incredible to say the least. Everything I was told was completely untrue or just outdated. These men and women are awesome.

I've been bringing my dad to this VA for the last few months, and after just our first visit, we knew he was in good hands. Every specialist we've seen have been nothing but hands on, attentive, thorough, empathetic, patient and helpful. From Dr.B in oncology, to Tess up in endoscopy, these women are some of the most kind medical professionals I have ever met, and I hope they know their kindness goes a long way and is still thought of well after. I have had so many wonderful interactions with the staff there, there was a nurse who ordered my dad some lunch as he was in recovery after a procedure, which was such a nice thing to do, I didn't catch her name but she might be the charge nurse in endoscopy maybe? Another thing I really liked about this VA is that if you look lost and wandering the halls, there are many friendly faces around to get you pointed in the right direction, and most of the time they'll ask YOU first lol. There was also a younger man up front who helped lead me to the other building over to 114 through the tunnel, he didn't have to, but he did, just over all blown away by the difference of health care compared to the other VA my dad was going to. And with already having seen someone in pulmonary, oncology, endoscopy, ED department, mental health and MRI, I have nothing but good things to say. Thank you kindly, for everything.

Although I have nothing to compare this program to, I found my care to be top notch. Okay, the beds are a bit hard but the doctors, social workers and the nurses (almost forgot to mention the OT folks) were incredibly kind and effective. In my opinion, the inpatient program is as successful as the work you put into it. There is no magic cure; just need to pull yourself up by the britches and dive in. I spent 90 days total in programming learning about addiction, recovery, and about myself. The staff was extremely supportive and helpful at every step along the way. They have answered my questions, listened to my fears, and celebrated my achievements. I would not be where I am today if I had not been a part of this program. From homelessness and on the verge of sacrificing what life i had, I took the advice of a counselor to go to a mental hospital. During my 12 day detox I was told about Wishope and that rehab may be good for me. Being open to anything different than what I had became my focal point, so I took the offer and went to Woods Crossing to start my first rehab journey in residential. I'm so grateful that I took it! That's when I got sober. It was suggested that I do the step down program which took several months. That is when I learned to be sober. I learned about myself and trauma. I learned about addiction. I also learned that my flaws weren't weaknesses, but things I just wasn't good at. Yet still a part of me that made up who I am. I have learned to respect myself, set goals that are achievable, cope with what life throws at me sober, and how to love myself and smile again. God has thankfully removed the filter that I once looked at the world thru and given me one that is filled with love, faith in something bigger than myself, and respect to myself and others. By the grace of God I am now learning to LIVE sober. And what a blessing that gift is. A BETTER WAY TO LIVE. Thank you Wishope for giving me 12 months sober and pushed me to be uncomfortable at times, vulnerable at other times without judgment, and pushing me to be better. This experience has been worth everything to me and literally changed my life!

WisHope has helped me get my life back. Coming through this program has been the best decision I could have made. The staff is amazing and is always there for you any time of the day. I was able to learn so much about myself and how to continue working on myself for the rest of my life. Wishope helped me to identify my triggers and then how to cope with them. This is the first time that I have ever enjoyed seeing a therapist and actually focusing on how to better my life. This is my first rehab program, and I am very happy I selected to go here. I completed the step down program, and I believe this was a huge part of helping me to learn a new daily healthy routine. I am now 7 months sober, and without Wishope I wouldn’t be able to say that!(:

I went to Casa and was so surprised by how wonderful it was. We really all become a family. I remember 2 girls were pregnant and worried about their babies. A girl named Haley was one of them pregnant girls and today she's been sober for almost 2 yrs. She had her beautiful son and is doing amazing. Has her own apartment and just doing such great things in her and her son's life. I know Casa Clare and friendships she had helped her so much. The counselors really care about you and you can feel that. I'm so proud of so many people I meet there. Thank you Casa for all you do for so many lives

Casa Clare took me in the same week I called for help, after not showing up for 2 prior intake appointments. I was 38 weeks pregnant, I was deep in addiction, homeless, and lost. This program not only got me sober and offered support, they are the reason I was able to keep custody of my baby and continue to thrive almost 2 years later. They helped make postings on local support groups to help me gather needed baby supplies, let me bring my newborn to group sessions, and still to this day offer updated letters of completion and support. The counselors are able to connect with residents, as they have fought their own personal demons which makes sobriety feel so much more attainable. Thanks Casa Clare, I wouldn't be an independent, sober mama that's about to graduate college if it weren't for your support and guidance lifting me up from rock bottom. You guys truly helped to save mine and my babies life. ❣️

For speed, I quickly review each aspect of the recovery after my full review. You can scroll past my full review for the bullet points. Full Review: Energy told me to take a look at options to heal the results of my actions. In my opinion, energy (not action) brought you to my review. I tried to detox at home and I briefly died. My energy showed me fiist hand the difference between life and death and my energy choose life. (Like it or not). I took action and called the facility, asked questions, and I was provided answers as well as a close contact until I arrived. When I arrived I saw it was a beautiful large 'lodge like' building in a tranquil, rural area. Intake was detailed, and quick. I can not remember too much of the intake process but I know they were friendly and understanding. My detox started immediately after intake. I was provided a private room. I was medicated and monitored often. After detox, I started a residential program. I was given a personal, clean room. They monitored us less than at detox but still 24/7. It took a bit to get used to the pop ins from the BHT's. Groups were the main activity 8 hours, 7 days a week. You are put into a group of 8-20 people. My group offered engagement and education that I took advantage of. After group we had the option to take advantage of the amenities. Pools, hot tub, workout space, common areas, propane fire pits, pool, darts, video games, art etc. This gave me the option to see that sober fun was possible. I was able to call home, handle my day to day and use my laptop/phone. Having my electronics was very helpful. There was a variety of snacks that ranged from ice cream to healthy options. A good variety of drink options were also available. I was offered a full breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday that included a decent amount of choice. I personally did not ask the cooks for special meals so I can not review the food a vegetarian, or glute-free person would need. I met all types of people of all ages. I saw all types of personalities. I found friends but I had to go around and take action to make those contacts. Not everyone wanted contacted, I respect that. However not everyone was someone I wanted to talk to. They offered on site Dharma and SMART classes as well as off-site AA and NA. I did not attend so I can not review Events and trips were planned on Saturdays and Sunday had church options. Medication was provided in a line with first come service. The lines seemed long at peak times so I learned to go do my meds off peak hours. Therapists were mainly there to handle the paperwork, give references to other programs and calculate CADs. Sessions were about an hour a week. Providers were either virtual or in person. I saw a provider weekly. The provider lines can be long as well so bring your headphones. The discharge went smooth for the most part. I did advocate for myself to make sure it went well. Bullet Points: - Intake: Fast, Friendly - Detox: Heavily monitored and medicated - Resedential: Personal room, program scheduled daily - Amenities: Exactly what is listed - Food: A variety, 3 meals a day and snacks - Meds: First come first serve, peak busy off peak quick - Atmosphere: Focused on sobriety and activities - Staff: Attentive, friendly - Therapists: Lacking direct in person contact - Clarity of the process, routine and Insurance updates were lacking - All around: It was great. learned a lot, met great people.

The negative reviews I have seen is concerning. Every business every rehab every hospital has flaws. You will never find what most of you are looking for which is perfection. I seen a review where the reviewer states there was 150 clients. yet there is not 150 or even close to that amount that is leaving negative reviews. There was even reviews claiming wood violet commits insurance fraud. Common sense would tell you if that was the case they would accept Medicaid and Medicare which is much easier to commit fraud with. Another thing no matter where you go things can slip past staff but if your loved one partakes in it. Then your loved one has to have accountability. If you have a garden then you will also see no matter what you put on it there will always be some weeds that will pop up. Same thing with these centers no matter how many safe guards they put up there will always be something the comes through. Am I saying wood violet is perfect? No. Noone is perfect. But giving the situation the world is in with people not really wanting to work. They do good with what staff they do have.

Troy Lee and Sabrina Spatz are single-handedly the reason for the growth I've had in my mental health. To be honest based on the last place(arbor mental health services) I tried seeking help from with my mental health and the "answers" I got from that place made me very learly/nervous to reach out to anyone ever again to seek assistance with my mental health. Seeing the reveiws on NCHC made me even more worried that I was going to be treated like another number or just another person with a list of problems that don't matter. After a few sessions With Troy and Sabrina i realized quickly with how they communicated with me and how they treated me that I knew I was in the right place with people who actually cared and wanted to see my mental health successes. What Ive come to realize is that I get and understand the rap that this place gets. To be honest alot of it is probably people who are upset because they aren't getting what they want or what they think they need. Troy and Sabrina are the type of people who will listen to what you have to say, apply your situation to what they have learned and what they have been taught and will apply their knowledge to your situation for the best mental outcome of whatever it is your trying to accomplish mentally. Hats off to Troy Lee and Sabrina Spatz. You guys are what the mental health field truly needs to be able to find success in your mental health. The industry needs more people like Troy and Sabrina.
