I cannot recommend this place and the staff, especially Elliott and his partner, enough. They treat you like a human being while still following the rules and doing their jobs. In my experience, if you follow the rules and put in the effort, you will have no issues.
One of the biggest problems I have seen with other programs is staff shortages, lack of communication, and people not doing their jobs. That was not the case here. Elliott supported me for over a year, and I honestly would not be where I am today without him or this program.
The classes are what you would expect, but they are more conversational than many other programs. You have the opportunity to speak more, share your experiences, and actually discuss things rather than just sit through a lecture.
You can genuinely tell the people running this program are doing it because they care about helping people, not just making money.
I would not be surprised to see larger counties look to this program as a model compared to some of the outdated options currently available. Thank you.
