I was skeptical when I was getting signed up for the counseling but after I got a few classes in I knew it was going to be beneficial for me and my health. My counselor was Paul Padilla a very funny and kind guy who helped me lay the groundwork for my sobriety and giving me guidance when days were getting rough. The best therapist I could have ever asked for! I have 2 of my children seeing Chuck and Jennifer and all I could say is I am so grateful for them. They are not just "therapist" they are genuine caring people. Growing up in therapy I always felt awkward and judged so I was iffy when looking for therapist for my girls. But my girls have a connection with them. They get excited to go see them and that just shows how great they are. Thank you so much Chuck and Jennifer you all are simply AMAZING ❤

It sure is a relief that there are people in this world who actually understand addiction and the mechanisms that fuel it. My wife and I owe Trish, Tj, Ms. Sharon, Becky, and everyone there our lives! They have all gone to bat for us to help us get our child home. And for once it’s looking like we will have him home soon! We couldn’t have made a better decision than to walk through that door and ask for help. These people are not only great at what they do… they are genuinely good people, with integrity, and are really there to actually help with the recovery process. I hate to think where our lives would be if we never walked into BAART That day. We thank all of you guys for what you do! You guys don’t receive enough credit!!! Thank you

Stout street has done so many things for me and I`m so proud of myself for putting in the work. Before SSF I was living on the streets. I was addicted to crack cocaine and I never knew there was a life other than using substances. I am proud to say that I have been sober for 2 years and a week because I never gave up on myself and I always went the extra mile. I have completed the program and will be graduating in March 2025. I was hospitalized for four days as an emergency, and I can say that this is the most caring hospital system I have ever been to. The people seem to all reflect the values of the church and their bedrock beliefs of treating people with compassion and without any reservations to their circumstances. The hospital is extremely clean, has a huge gift shop where you can find everything you would expect at a hospital gift shop plus more, the food is generally OK for hospital food, and the staffing seem to be up to par. I want to thank the people at AdventHealth because the way they care for others is truly rooted in their foundational beliefs that they convey through their mission statement and identity.

Extremely understaffed unable to provide care that was meaningful in any capacity. The supervisor is also quick to shift blame for not receiving care onto clients not taking responsibility for their own treatment. A terrible way to try to receive even a bare minimum of help.
update:
I have terminated care here for months and am officially not a client yet still receive weekly emails containing information about one of their classes all links to join included despite calling on multiple occasions to have the emails stopped

From my patient intake 2 years ago I went from being a desperate, homeless, unemployed, unwanted and sickly addict to now being independent, hard working, trusted, loving boyfriend and healthy young adult 😀. It's like I'm a totally different person now thanks to these guys ❤️. I'm not exaggerating when I say that this clinic saved my life. I had no hope for myself upon becoming a patient here. I honestly just joined because I was in severe withdrawal due to losing the only source I had for my drug of choice. I only intended to stay until I was able to find another source but thanks to my counselor I decided to try and take MMT seriously and that was one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life. I'm not saying that this was easy and I'm not saying that this will work for everyone. As for me, I've tried almost everything available to achieve sobriety (iNarcotics Anonymous, monitored detox, clonidine, suboxone etc.) but I was never able to stick to anything until I started Methadone Maintenance Treatment (MMT) at BHG. I even had a lot of problems with during my first few months and came really close to being discharged because of my behavior. You can't just enroll and magically become sober over 2 years, you really have to want to be sober and be willing to work with your counselor to identify the root causes of your addiction. Once you do this you will work with your counselor to find healthy ways to deal with whatever issues that lead you into addiction and once you've done that you can start to taper your dose down and eventually get off methadone 😊.
P.S. Don't listen to the negative reviews some people have left here. These are the people that will constantly break the rules, throw temper tantrums when they are confronted about it and verbally abuse the staff if they don't get their way 🙄. The staff here is AMAZING! They are always going above and beyond for the patients that are serious about achieving soberiety and they will always treat you with respect and kindness as long as you do they same 💯. The staff is very understanding and they are always willing to give you so many chances if you screw up because they know that addiction is a difficult thing to deal with and that some laws governing MMT can be very frustrating 😊.

I’ve only seen Monarch Sober Living from the outside. My sister started living there over a year ago and I’ve literally watched her transform like the Monarch! I have been a client of Monarch for over a year. My first attempt at sobriety was 10 years ago in a different sober living environment that even though they had required working a sober program and had said they also required and offered accountability and structure, after 6 months, I had determined that all they cared about was money. Since being with Monarch and due to the constant supervised structure. I can proudly say I am 14 months sober and have never felt better. With the requirement of having a sponsor and working the A.A program that you must follow in this environment as well as the accountability and structure that Monarch provides, I would have never been able to reach this. I am now in a management position for Monarch and with what I have learned being here, I look forward to assisting others that are new to sobriety and guiding them on this path that I could not have done without the assistance of Monarch Sober Living.

This place changed me for the better. My room and shower was way better than I expected, I felt comfortable in my room for my entire 6 day stay. The food was good. My daily schedule consisted of 4 groups a day, seeing a prescriber for medication and seeing a therapist to talk about my day. This daily routine helped me tremendously. Before I came here, I was crying at least one a day and my sleep schedule was messed up. The first night I was here, my sleep schedule was fixed in an instant and I only cried once during my 6 day stay. This place changed me and the other people who were there would tell you the exact same thing. Everyone I met was incredibly nice to me, the nurses, therapists, group leaders and especially the other people I met in there who we're trying to get their mental health together like me. These people get paid to not help you no matter how ill you are and how bad your life circumstances is, and way to much at that. It's daunting because they bragged about getting people into better places and more resources. They need to be reported to the federal government as the state is a crude joke when it comes to any kind of enforcement. Normally I urge people suffering mental illness to please seek help but with places like these where you basically help them more than they help you, my hope in help is dead. It's genuinely better to be dead. I can't take anymore false hope and deception.

Continuum was able to help me break through to the heart of my addiction and trauma by connecting with others in my IOP group that I now consider family. George is the best therapist I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He has shown me ways to cope with not just daily struggles, but the deeper issues that have had long term effects that sometimes I am not aware of. By creating a place of safety and comfort, I am now able to say I do not fear recovery or connection with others anymore - and that is 100% due to George and Continuum. He truly cares about the people he serves, and I have never felt so much love from someone outside of family (which I now consider him). If there ever was a place to discover connection and healing, it is Continuum.

I felt very welcomed and safe. You can’t fake the kindness and caring disposition that is necessary in this field and everyone that I had contact with exuded warmth.

The Equinox Counseling and Wellness Center offers intensive outpatient counseling services for children a | Treatments Programs Payment Options | One of my children has been enrolled here for 4 months. The staff and owners here are amazing, supportive and patient. I can't imagine a place that is more likely to help my child succeed.
They truly treat the whole family through parent coaching, whole family and multi-family activities, and even coaching other siblings in how they can build their relationship and support the sibling that is enrolled.
Some reviews mention a high staff turnover. In the 4 months we've been here, I've noticed one person leave. It hasn't been a problem though. Our child regularly works with several people here and they get to know each other really well.

I was retaliated against, literally mocked when I was stuttering while being served a contract for being disruptive by asking that they don’t put my name out on the birthday cards and that they respect my HIPAA rights and use my number As well as having my counselor put a message out on teams that I wanted to be at the window during pouring of doses n refills after being overdosed. From Marianne, playing middleman instead of the nurses talking directly to the clients like professionals or even just people who have common sense. That’s why it’s a policy I have Sharon on recording reading an email that she sent out with a clinical policy number. That states that the clients are not allowed to be at the window. She literally pulled out of thin there. The policy is that we are to be at the window. So I was told that I was disruptive for requesting my rights, not be violated again. I have the front desk lady on recording admitting that Sharon told her no when she said she was making a copy of the grievance procedure papers for me. TJ was standing right there witnessing the entire thing. Later that night on a recorded phone call’s retracting everything she said, and said that she doesn’t feel like I deserve that contract and blamed it all on Marianne. This place is a joke now. TJ witnesses everything so does Leticia the front desk gal, but nobody lives up to the fact that by law they are mandated reporters. But that’s OK because I have all the recordings I need to prove my case just about where I need to be take action. I’d really just like for them to be fired or move somewhere else so that I can come back it’s really inconvenienced but they need all new staffed. None of those people could be trusted except maybe the new female doctor because I reached out to Dr. Thomas on an email because he said that’s how he wants us to get a hold of him to schedule appointments with him. His reply was that he was working a full-time job and didn’t have time to read my message. OK, so then medical neglect?

I was a client at this clinic a few years ago and it was a wonderful experience, the staff was friendly and awesome then. However a friend and I went in yesterday and it's a complete difference. The nurse and the nurse in training made me feel horrible and embarrassed about my situation. They degraded me and made me feel less than, they had absolutely no compassion and made me feel as if I shouldn't have even gone in for help. My friend left there crying because of the way the 2 nurses spoke to her and treated her. If you don't like getting judged and talked down to, don't go to this clinic.

This is an amazing clinic ran by compassionate, caring and goal oriented people. There is no judgment here and clients are not looked down upon. It is also a harm reduction clinic. I highly recommend this place and can never thank Baart and the loving staff they employ enough!
