Choice House gave me my life back. The staff are great and have all been in the same place and are in recovery too. I loved the focus on activity and community building. The individual therapy was also greatly beneficial. I stayed the three months and decided to do the sober living program. I can t recommend it more. As a man who traveled to country going to different treatment centers, I would say that I wish I had found Choice House earlier in my recovery journey.

Aspen Ridge is *literally* one of the reasons I am alive, celebrating (just over) two-years of sobriety today. Their approach to therapy, both individual and group, and the opportunities they afforded me were monumental; critical. I found out I wasn t alone, even when I thought I wanted to be. I cannot thank this place and its personnel (that become family) enough for the resources, encouragement, knowledge and serenity they have provided to me.Just here to update and say that I am now almost THREE years sober and I still have AR North to thank for that!

Truth. I learned a lesson the hard wayTruth. I made mistakes.Truth. I was addicted to drugs, like I said, was. My addiction took control of my life. I lost time, friends, my car, my home. Mostly I lost myself. In my addiction I lied to others, I lied to myself. I thought I was invisible and the truth couldn't see me through the smoke screens I blew out my lungs that were filled with dope. I thought that I was untouchable to the facts on how my addiction could harm me. I became delusional to the danger I put myself in. Well friends and family it came time that I had to face the truth.Truth is I found out I have HIV.Truth is I tried to be the most seen and desired and gave and sold myself to numerous men. I wasn't secure in myself and didn't love myself. I had demons that I was too scared to fight and conquer. It took the love of my mother to finally tell me I needed help. She saw death on my face. So as I wondered and bounced around homeless, I decided to ask for help. Thanks to a few friends I made it to rehab and that's how I discovered I was infectedThis is not a sad story. I don't want people to feel sorry for me. I excepted that I chose this. I could of prevented this. I am putting this out here so others wake up and don't make the same mistakes that I have. I am now healthy and undetectable. I am now happy because I conquered my demons. I am grateful for everything I went through because it lead to my purpose that I had been searching for my entire life. God places you in places and puts you in situations that you don't understand at first. God had to break me to build me back up to prepare me for a purpose. Now I have my life and my light again and filled with joy. So please anyone who reads this. Take your life seriously, it's the only one you will get. Live it, love it, protect it.This is the place to change your life. Better yet it is a place that can help you help yourself to save your life.

I had checked into rehabs 10 other times before I came to Narconon. Narconon was the first and only program that stuck for me, and I still use what I learned there every day. Narconon helped repair my relationships with family, greatly helped my legal situation, and taught me that I am capable of living a sober and happy life. I have no idea where I would be right now if it weren't for the amazing staff and each and every step of the program.

I have struggled with mainly meth addiction for 8 years or so. I was feeling so sick everyday. My body felt toxic, the meth wasnt giving me energy anymore, I was depleted. I was craving nature and nutrition.I have been desiring to come to innerbalance for over 6 years now. I didn't have the money then. I went to 2 other rehabs before this one covered by medicaid instead. I honestly am thankful for all 3 of the rehabs I have been too. I have learned so much and after completing innerbalance and understanding all my underlying health issues and learning how to heal I finally believe I can move foward past addiction. I am so thankful and blessed to have gotten to come here. I haven't felt this good for a longtime. I feel joy again.I have a solid recovery plan, relapse prevention plan and relapse plan. Everyone that works here is so encouraging and supportive. I have had so many laughs and good times here. I feel ready to go out in the world. I believe that I will never get stuck in active addiction again. I will just get back on the horse if a relapse does happen. I'm ready. Thank you innerbalance! I am very satisfied! Amie Raniewicz

We are so grateful for the Rose House, their years of experience, purposeful programming, compassion, and transparent well rounded treatment plan. One of the components that stands out the most is their dedication to supporting the families of the loved one staying at The Rose House. The Zoom support groups, the articles, the recommended reading, and the family weekend seminars distinguish this place from the others and help loved ones understand how to move forward in a more positive role. This place is truly a beautiful and magical place. Before our loved one checked into the rose house we as a family felt defeated, helpless and frightened on what might happen next in the throws of their addiction but, after only a couple of months we see the light and feel so incredibly hopeful for the future. The staff are the best of the best and not only help your loved ones but, bring the family together to develop better tools to navigate a life of addiction. We love you Rose house

I spent 5 1/2 months under their residential care and 6 months in there step down (sober living) program. Rose House honestly saved my life and I will forever be extremely grateful for. This was the hardest thing I had to do and although I fought the clinical staff of many things, I wouldn t have had it any other way. I can't say enough good things about this organization and the people that work here. Coming up on 2 months of sobriety, I can honestly say I would not be here without the amazing staff and therapists at NorthStar.I want to give a huge shout out to Sean who worked with me in helping me identify my triggers and to create a plan for my future.I could write a review a mile long if I started naming all the great staff at the lodge, but I'll keep it to this: from the AM staff to the PM staff, every single person there is invested in supporting you on your journey, and they truly 'get it.' From laughter to serious moments, they facilitated the perfect healing environment for me.KW was also very influential in my healing.

Jonathan Heilman is an incredibly thorough, deeply caring individual and I've genuinely never had such a positive experience with a psychiatrist. Having moved around a lot in my life I've seen many psychiatrists and most will give you barely 10-15 minutes of their time during which they won't actually listen to what you're saying. Jonathan works very hard to understand the person and the circumstances as a whole. He took I believe an hour and a half for our first appointment, which is wild to begin with, and then took another hour for the next two appointments just because my history is so extensive and he wanted to get an accurate picture. The one potential downside to note, every appointment is so extensive that he often runs over, so if you have to be very strict on time in your own schedule you may want to account for that in timing. I personally am so thankful for his care that I just account for those minutes as part of the time I block out in my schedule. Truly couldn't have asked for a better provider during the tumultuous past year and a half.

The VAs that mg husband has gone to; Austin, Loveland, Denver, and Caribou, Maine, have been great.I have been using VA for over a decade. Only thing I have had is a little difficulty with is getting my prescriptions correct. That problem has been rectified quickly by the staff. In the last few years I have had a brain bleed requiring emergency surgery.I was in a coma for about a month. During that time, I was also diagnosed with Leukemia.VA took care of everything. When I awoke, I was worried about how these very expensive medical procedures would be paid for.I understand that the medical staff is overwhelmed and I take that into consideration.Overall, my belief is that the VA healthcare system is living up to their promises.

Fire Mt saved my daughters life. She was 15 when she went in, and had had 2 suicide attempts before Fire Mt.. My daughter was diagnosed with severe ptsd. from some things that tragically happened to her as a baby and beyond my control. The therapists at Fire Mt explained to her what her ptsd was, and helped her while she was going through it. The food was super healthy and my daughter learned so much. Although she did run after 4.5 months, (which I was upset about because Fire Mt is a once in a lifetime opportunity for any kid), she is doing so much better because of Fire Mt. She still eats well, because she learned that eating well made her feel better there, and she tells people how much Fire Mt really helped her. She complained to me on the phone while she was there but when she reflects upon her time at Fire Mt now she says it was the best thing I ever did for her. I am forever grateful to Fire Mt for their expertise in handling her and for all the staff. There were a few issues I was not thrilled about ; I was very upset that Fire Mt would not take my daughter back after she ran, but the good far outweighs any bad and the time my daughter spent there was life changing. I am forever grateful that Fire Mt. exists. My daughter left last July of 2020 and it is a year later that I am giving a review because I could not find the words. These people go above and beyond. My daughter is now a straight A student. I dont think she would have survived without the intervention of Fire mt. Huge thanks!

Fire Mountain truly changed my life for the better. Not only did I receive the diagnosis that would forever change the way I went about my struggles, but I met amazing people that inspire me. FMRTC changed my life. I finished the program not knowing how I would survive once I left, but it turned out that internal conflict wasn’t something necessary. Everyone that I had met there, including the other residents, helped me find my new perspective on life, especially my amazing therapist. There are most certainly hard days and now, I know how to manage them and keep living the best life I can because of what they’ve taught me. I was able to move out and continue my undergrad and hope to one day become a psychotherapist myself. But as of now, I am a behavioral therapist at 18 years old. I never thought I would see the day I would be able to help people and use the struggles I went though as motivation, unable to see that there was a future in store for me, but here I am, following my passions. I hope to one day be able to return the favor of everything FM did for me and to go back to beautiful Estes and work for them. **My tribe’s the bear tribe!!!**

From my patient intake 2 years ago I went from being a desperate, homeless, unemployed, unwanted and sickly addict to now being independent, hard working, trusted, loving boyfriend and healthy young adult . It's like I'm a totally different person now thanks to these guys . I'm not exaggerating when I say that this clinic saved my life. I had no hope for myself upon becoming a patient here. I honestly just joined because I was in severe withdrawal due to losing the only source I had for my drug of choice. I only intended to stay until I was able to find another source but thanks to my counselor I decided to try and take MMT seriously and that was one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life. I'm not saying that this was easy and I'm not saying that this will work for everyone. As for me, I've tried almost everything available to achieve sobriety (iNarcotics Anonymous, monitored detox, clonidine, suboxone etc.) but I was never able to stick to anything until I started Methadone Maintenance Treatment (MMT) at BHG. I even had a lot of problems with during my first few months and came really close to being discharged because of my behavior. You can't just enroll and magically become sober over 2 years, you really have to want to be sober and be willing to work with your counselor to identify the root causes of your addiction. Once you do this you will work with your counselor to find healthy ways to deal with whatever issues that lead you into addiction and once you've done that you can start to taper your dose down and eventually get off methadone .P.S. Don't listen to the negative reviews some people have left here. These are the people that will constantly break the rules, throw temper tantrums when they are confronted about it and verbally abuse the staff if they don't get their way . The staff here is AMAZING! They are always going above and beyond for the patients that are serious about achieving soberiety and they will always treat you with respect and kindness as long as you do they same . The staff is very understanding and they are always willing to give you so many chances if you screw up because they know that addiction is a difficult thing to deal with and that some laws governing MMT can be very frustrating .

I had a really positive experience here during my stay for detox. The staff was extremely considerate and kind, especially considering how intensely some individuals need care, making sure I felt safe. I won't go into specifics, but they sprang to action to switch rooms for me when I needed. The food was plenty and nutritious. Pretty great over all! I had access to plenty of resources. I want to commend Lexi Bernard for helping me find this place and organizing after care with CARS rehabilitation. She really took care of all the footwork for me so I didn't have to worry about making the wrong decision when I needed to clear my head and get help. She even followed up to make sure I had the resources to sober living houses when I needed help the most. She is a great asset and the reason I'm leaving a five star review. Thanks for helping me get my life back, Lexi!

I cannot recommend Creative Counseling enough. They have the best team of therapists there! Amber, Hailey, Daniel and Tiffany are amazing! I couldn t have asked for anything more from any of them. I ve been in classes since 2023 and at first it seemed like a chore that I didn t want to do but it wasn t like that for long. After a few months, I found myself looking forward to my classes because they really do everything that the classes are meant to do. I am beyond grateful for the treatment I received! Definitely worth every penny!

Josh is absolutely an incredible therapist whether you have had a dui or not. Has helped me more in a few sessions than 30 years of psychologists and psychiatrists combined without writing a single prescription. If you re at a spot of struggle in your life, I would absolutely recommend you give him a try! If you have got yourself a dui and are doing classes here, Carol and Breanna are both a big step above any of the other group counselors at other agencies I tried out. CCS also accepts medicaid for the classes and individual therapy which can really be a lifesaver. I wish you all the best luck in your journey and really embrace the process for what it is worth. I m staying enrolled with josh despite being done with the requirements for my dui probation and literally believe he was placed in my life by divine forces. I m actually unbelievably impressed with my experience here. They have things most definitely figured out how to come up with a plan to help you.

I took the level 1 class this weekend with Carol Frost and thought she was an excellent instructor. I m not usually a fan of zoom or any via computer courses, especially when it comes to true life situations and growth, but I felt comfortable, safe, welcomed, and actually accomplished.Carol is honest and straightforward about her own past that truly made me feel comfortable to speak about my own past, what really brought me here, and actually gain from this experience.A true Judgement Free Zone , without the lingering thoughts of can I be honest with a person/group I ve never met or how can I be real if this is for legal purposes? Not at all with Carol.I highly recommend Creative Counseling Services if you re in the Northern Front Range, and Carol if you re near an office in the NoCo area. She even went out of her way after hours to extend a hand with extra music she thought would help me.Music especially because she knew I suffered from a TBI years ago and music therapy is my best form of recovery across the board. If you re nervous about finally asking for help, or if it s legal based, she makes this course something that truly resonates with you even when it s over.Even if your time with the course is over, that doesn t mean her time is done with you, if you d like. You re not just another check mark off the attendance list.

To express my gratitude and appreciation towards Tim Hand our Director for a fantastic staff and supportive community that allowed me to have support coming out of a decade of prison, to a place that welcomed me and provided resources for my success is not enough said. I showed up full of anxiety and nervousness. I was completely exhausted. My case manager allowed me to take a healthy breath of fresh air with being supportive in where I was at. She meet me exactly where I needed to be. I am so grateful for the opportunity I was granted with all the resources available to me , especially our run club in the mornings with staff that really made me feel comfortable and human. Change happens in the right direction with the people who challenge us in the right way for the right reasons. There is allot of great people coming in and out of this establishment for the right reasons. My success will continue to grow from everyone involved here at LCCC. Thank you Tim Hand for always shaking my hand and making time to show up for us all here. Follow us all on our journeys though LCCC.

Anyone who is considering going to community corrections/halfway house, this is the place to be. I did 9 years in CDOC, and LCCC accepted me. This program is setup to make you successful, if that s what you want. The staff is SUPER helpful and knowledgeable, and very professional. Compared to the staff in DOC they are night and day. You ll need to be focused and pay attention to the rules because there are a lot of rules, but if you live your life like a normal person and do the right thing, plug in with the right people, and stay on point this place will get you stabilized and geared for success. Take this advice from someone who spent almost a decade in prison involved in the good and the bad.

No place is perfect and no situation is the same for the residents here, however, this is a well run individualized program with a serious approach and also full of respect and warmth for both the residents and families.

Rose House gave me an amazing opportunity and now I feel like I am truly living-something I never thought possible until my time spent here. Thank you for everything I ve learned within my time here, I will not take it for granted.
