I just graduated my 28 days at prairie ridge in mason city. The staff, Dr's and even the chef's in the kitchen were all wonderful and very dedicated people. I went there for substance recovery and learned so much about myself. All the guys I was in recovery with were good guys to be in treatment with. It was the first time in a very long time that 23 guys in recovery really felt like a brotherhood. The food was amazing and classes we were all in were very helpful.

Just go to Rochester if your really sick or got serious health issues... there will just send you to Rochester anyway if you go to Austin... Austin hospital is basically training ground for noobs Er department my opinion. Don't get me wrong but the people who work at the Austin mayo clinic are really nice and respectful people there just trying to help you or in my case save my life .

I spent almost 6 months at the gables from oct.2018 to April 2019. That place saved My life and changed My life. I'm still in contact with some of the old staff and made a lot of connections with some amazing woman. No cell phone was one of the best ideas. MY mental health has remained stable and I have little over 5 yrs of sobriety. Thank you for changing and saving My life,!!!!!!

The Gables was by far the best treatment I have been to, which is saying a lot as I have been to inpatient 15 times. The staff thoroughly care. They are so compassionate, professional and kind. The food was amazing. I felt safe and was able to process a lot of issues plaguing me for years. They treat the clients with respect and go above. I love this place!

This is my preferred VA facility. I've had no issues any time I've gone to them. Scheduling is always a breeze, and I never have any unreasonable wait times. The staff is always great to work with and they listen to my concerns and provide solutions. Referrals have also been approved without issue as well. My care team always responds as soon as possible whether I call them or message on the VA app. I highly recommend this clinic to any eligible vets nearby.

Nobody likes to be in the hospital. However if I need to be in, I can only hope it’s Mayo Mankato. They are so focused on getting down to causes and conditions. All staff are unfailingly kind and communicate with the patient and each other. I always advocate for more information, so I can understand and actively participate in my recovery. My husband had to have several blood transfusions. Nurse Mary was the best. She went out of her way to always have what was needed there and ready for us. She also made sure we were comfortable while we were there. I will never be able to thank her enough for how great she was to my husband and me during his last days. I brought my daughter in the to the E.R. on a Saturday evening and we had excellent care. The check in process was smooth, my child was seen in a timely manner, xray techs and pct's were all very gentle and kind. I am grateful to say that my experience here was way better than I thought for a Monday morning. I was taken care of even while waiting in the waiting room. Every single nurse, doctor, or helper was beyond amazing. I will be coming here from now on. I had a surgery scheduled the day of, and got my emergency surgery about 30 minutes later.
