As with most mental health facilities, some of the practitioners are cold and uncaring while others pour their hearts into their work. One significant pro is that the rooms are private. Just be aware that the staff will constantly be checking on you if you are in your room alone. Sometimes this disrupts sleep and they will not care about leaving your door open and the light shining in.
If you are coming here due to legal reasons or need to just escape the traumas of modern living, I do think that a few weeks stay has the potential to heal much.
Doing the 90 day program, though, of course, is labor intensive and exhausting.
The rules and regulations of the Eleva Care handbook are restrictive because they've had people violate minute rules and minutiae and get away with inappropriate behavior.
Overall, staff really helped me get my head on straight and I am very grateful to have gotten back in touch with my true self and connect with inner values that I hold.
If you're having severe and persistent mental illness, I do recommend this treatment facility. I found the experience of being here for a sustained length of time to be very humanizing.

Was there about 20 years ago it was the best decision I made I wish I could go back cuz I could use it now. Met a lot of good people through that program. We all go through tough times in life in a place like this really helps you just got to give it a chance. Don't give up and get help.

This is my preferred VA facility. I've had no issues any time I've gone to them. Scheduling is always a breeze, and I never have any unreasonable wait times. The staff is always great to work with and they listen to my concerns and provide solutions. Referrals have also been approved without issue as well. My care team always responds as soon as possible whether I call them or message on the VA app. I highly recommend this clinic to any eligible vets nearby.

I was in this program a few years ago, they do a wonderful job. To this day, I still have my IMR book, I keep it for referencing.
Definitely recommend if you're looking for help, not a lot of places care, but this treatment facility does!

I just had an MRI done here.. i had the best imagining techs the world could ever ask for!!! They made jokes with me cause they knew it would help, they went at my pace so i didnt panic and the one even offered to keep her hands on my legs the whole time so i knew she was there!! I wish i could remeber her name but if i ever have to have one again i will be back!! You made a very scary thing for me almost fun!!!!

Best treatment center out of five places in 21 years. It’s rustic in the middle of nowhere. The STAFF is amazing and actually touched on trauma codependency control and actually did the work. And I can’t sleep. I’m home in my apartment. I went to four meetings today. I’m struggling. I’m sober. I’m struggling real life real shit and I am so forever grateful for new beginnings. I was so desperate when I called Integrations, pretty much in pure panic mode. My daughter had relapsed after being told when we left the hospital in TX, where we had just spent 14 days, 5 of those being in the ICU, that she would die if she drank again. She was so weak, thin, pale, and fragile from the abuse her body had taken over the prior 6-7 years of extremely heavy drinking. She turned 26 a few days after bringing her home with me to MN. She was sober for 4 months, yet here we were back in the hospital again after a short relapse. She had drunk so much liquor that she had a seizure. I felt so helpless. As a parent, you want to shield and protect your kids, but she was not a kid. She was an adult, and I really had no say so. I even thought that I was going to have to go and try to get a medical POA over her to try and save her life. While in the hospital, I spent my time searching rehabs in the state of Minnesota, and I ran across Integrations. I read all of the wonderful reviews and started calling. I think I was on the borderline of harassment; I called so many times over the few days at the hospital. I could not help but think that if she did not leave the hospital and go straight to an inpatient facility, I was going to lose my beautiful daughter. Best phone call I have ever made. I have Jill and Rich to thank for saving my daughter's life; really, all of the staff are so wonderful at this facility. Words truly cannot express the gratitude I have for the help and guidance they have given to my daughter and continue to do so in the sober living home. They truly are the most caring people. Thank you for accepting my daughter into your program! Thank you for saving my beautiful daughter's life.

Integrations truly saved my life! The staff there are all amazing from the techs to Dr. Rich Decker , Jill Decker and the counselor 's. Theyre all hands on. Jill and Rich own the place and are very much involved in our recovery. They're there day in and day out ( sometimes working as tech staff) They're just amazing people. They've even been there for me since I've been home. If you suffer from trauma and addiction, or just addiction..there's no safer place than integrations...they work hard to make it a safe healing environment...

The staff was caring and understanding of my recovery. They helped me with getting to know my addiction and how to recognize the triggers. They also help with getting your life back in order...but you have to go with the HOPE of getting help.

Once in a while everybody that truly struggles with addiction needs help. No treatment center is perfect, if you’re looking for perfection then stay at home with mom but you won’t get better. NorthStar is not perfect by any means but, speaking from personal experience, the people at NorthStar genuinely and authentically care about what you do with the rest of your life. If you’re lucky enough to get in, don’t you dare take advantage of these people, but instead take advantage of the opportunity you’ve been given. These folks are a godsend. Get yourself together man. They will help if you’re willing ❤️

We've been using SBH for a few years and I am extremely satisfied. My son has difficulties trusting and opening up (as well as others), and his counselor has been amazing at gaining his trust and doesn't push him too hard. I've seen some positive changes since beginning and couldn't be happier with them!
