This place quite literally saved my life. I struggled for many years with substance abuse. I tried for several years to get clean on my own but was never successful. I have nothing but great things to say about the Plymouth House if you are serious about wanting to heal yourself. Detox and Rehab are never an easy decision. You know that you want to better yourself but the process is never an easy one. The staff and clinicians at PH are very understanding non judgemental. Some have been in the trenches at times which makes the care and help they offer much easier. The food is great and they are truly genuine across the board not to mention you couldn't ask for a more tranquil environment to heal yourself. I came to Green Mountain simply expecting to become sober and work on my mental health. Not only did I accomplish this but I grew spiritually and emotionally, forming both lifelong friends who I consider to be some of my most trusted loved ones and a healthy relationship with my higher power. The staff at the mountain are incredibly understanding and empathetic, both sharing their stories of recovery and actively listening to and helping with my own story of recovery. I am without a doubt a better person because of the twelve steps and Green Mountain, and am so thankful for the tools given to me and the time invested in my sobriety. Every single twelve step coordinator has a special place in my heart, each for a different reason. This is because they truly care about me as a person and my sobriety. I can’t say enough good things about RBH!! I showed up in October 2016 spiritual bankrupt Not happy to be there. Slowly but surely the staff and camaraderie between the residence help show me a a whole new way of life. Helped show me a new way of thinking an a whole new way of looking at the world. Gave me a solid foundation in the sober community in the lakes region which is where I still live today. I still feel very much part of the RBH community. I still have a lot solid friendships thanks to RBH and I love seeing the guys around town and at meetings. Lotta good memories!! Riverbank house definitely helped push my life in a positive direction and I’ll ever be grateful.

The experience I had at the Riverbank House changed my life forever in so many ways. I arrived at RBH in February 2016 and begrudgingly agreed to stay for 28 days, I ended up living there for almost 4 years because I just didn’t want to leave. The bonds and friendships I formed there still continue to this day. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity at a new life, and how to truly enjoy that life, that was provided to me by the Riverbank. My time at RBH was filled with compassion and laughter and memories I will always cherish. I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my life, but going to the Riverbank was certainly not one of them. I am grateful for every single me ever of the Riverbank brotherhood that I got to know during my time there, even that guy with the red beard.

I love this hospital. No seriously. My husband and I both have serious chronic illnesses, and have to use their services far more often than anyone should ever have to. Every person, from the custodians, secrrtaries, CNAs/LNAs, transporters, imaging, lab techs to the nurses and doctors are always amazing to us. When the hospital was full for days and no one could accompany me to another floor to shower, they gave me everything I could ever need to take my nightly "sink baths". When I had to have an NG Tube, the kindest lab tech held my hand, and the doctor and PA tried to soothe me and reassure me as much as possible (and let me tell you, the NG tube is the devil). They brought my son a popsicle, and celebrated every win with me. Each person deserves a super huge raise and extra paid vacation time! They have always listened to me, and I have been ignored and traumatized by enough medical staff in the past to know the difference. The only special thing I did was try to be kind. Thank you all for being wonderful and going above and beyond for me and my family!

Went to ER on Friday morning, May 2, 2025 with extreme neck pain. Dr Peter Low was in attendance and was my care provider. Not only was he professional and knowledgeable, his diagnosis of my issue was spot on. The medications he prescribed resolved the issue and I finally have relief and am able to function normally but also to sleep. I wish to thank him for his professional expertise and the administration of same! He was outstanding!

I attended NFA 5 years ago. It was my first time getting sober at 22 years old. NFA is where I started my journey. Although I cant speak to how the facility is now, I can speak to what it once way. My case manager Andy was very helpful and he heard me out. The facility itself was very basic, lots of meetings, enough free time for smoke breaks and basketball. The food was pretty good from what I remember. I will say there was a lot of medication, (sometimes meds that I feel like we didn't need but was given anyways). I was in inpatient for 2 weeks and the last two weeks was a house off property where we got phone access and got to make our own meals, which was a great transition. Overall, I would say that my experience was pretty good. I am still sober today...5 years later. I think that to be successful in staying sober you need aftercare, no one stays sober after 30-45 days of inpatient. A sober house afterwards is a necessity. Hope this helps!

I am eternally grateful for Canterbury behavioral health, especially for Jenn Rocha. When I admitted, I was at the lowest point in my life, hopeless, scared, and vulnerable, I had nothing left to give and no hope for the future. Jenn Rocha literally saved my life. If it hadn't been for her holding hope for me when I had none, supporting me, encouraging me, coaching, advocating, cheering me on and pushing me in the ways I needed to be pushed, with love support and encouragement, I would not have stayed and gotten the help I so desperately needed. Everything that could go wrong did, and her support and guidance helped me find a glimmer of hope again. She loved me unconditionally at my lowest, without judgement, when I needed it the most. Her genuine desire to help, and her authenticity gave me the most beautiful gift of learning to trust again. She will be forever in my heart for everything she did for me, and there are no words that are powerful enough to express my gratitude for her and everything she did for me. Yes, the program works if you work it, but it works even better with the compassion of the staff that work at Canterbury. It is truly a blessing to finally have a residential program for mental health in NH. From the top down, the staff genuinely care and want to help, and it is an amazing program. I hope to never need it again, however if I ever do, this is where I will go.

My son completed the Summit achievement program. He’s turned out to be an incredible young man. I can say 100% without a doubt that he and we as a family may not even exist today without the help of the Summit Achievement family. My wife and our therapist were pushing hard and I was skeptical at first. However, this program and the incredible team changed the trajectory of our lives together. I am addicted to opiates(pills) & have not abused them since I've been on clinic, I also gave up drinking alcohol when got on clinic. The "dosing" nurses are great nurses,. They're very friendly, care n have lots of patience to deal with addicts everyday. The receptionist(s),doctor & councilors are awesome too. I've had many councilors since been here & always been happy them. The hours are good during the week but during the wknd rhey should stay open longer(some of us come a long way & durning bad weather it hard to get there before 10am)

I'm quite familiar with this business and staff, which are all always doing the best they can. I do have to say, that it's not a mess, but the photos are very misleading except for the street views. 🤭
I have however had the pleasure of meeting with some of their patient councilors, and they really go above and beyond. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking treatment. ❤️

I was the unruliest patient here both times, it was a rough start, it truly was, but I am a strong person, and I often pointed out to staff where my rights were being violated, I was able to get a TTV to go pay bills, I was blue papered but reversed it so I could do the therapeutic walks outside the unit. I am sorry to see such bad reviews, but I can understand why. There were always miscommunications, The doctors didn't always listen, but this experience helped shaped my career in mental health! Don't give up!

This place was really able to help me when I had a break down a few years back after my dad died. Its not a bad place if you follow the rules and focus on your treatment. If you don't and act up and fight others or staff you get put in seclusion, then they get out and leave bad ratings on the hospital and staff that tried to help them .

Valley Vista in Bradford, VT is a beautiful place. I attended I'd say 8 years ago but I was not mature enough to appreciate it then. I appreciate it now. It is a clean, safe facility with helpful and kind staff. When I was there they treated dual diagnosis, which I believe is a must to truly comprehend the main cause of addiction. Vermont's beautiful scenery helps as well. I remember they had great food as well, plenty of whole foods and cakes if you like processed sweets. I believe Vermont is best for farm fresh overall.
I have since grew stronger in my faith and I give glory to God for putting me in recovery, but I admire the peer specialists and professional workers of Valley Vista. It is a great place for the underprivileged to afford. Thank you!

The staff are caring and supportive and hard working. They put in many long hours Doing a job that not many people could do. Getting clean is one of the hardest things to do and they’re there to help you every step of the way from the moment you enter the door to when you leave not only will they give you the toolsyou need to succeed, but they will also set you up so that you can continue your sobriety afterwards. You just have to want their help and listen to what they say.
