Entering my second month of this journey, I'm already experiencing a remarkable transformation. My previous performance was, to put it mildly, subpar. I felt immense pressure, a constant burden weighing me down. I firmly believe that without the support and encouragement I've received here at Milestone, I wouldn't have come this far. Witnessing the incredible Thanksgiving dinner prepared by some of our fellow participants serves as a powerful reminder that anything is possible. If they can achieve such a feat, so can you. Update: Month 4, learning so much more, how to live again. Life is good, my best day back then isn't even close to my worst day today! Update April 13th, 2025 Reaching six months at Milestone Foundation feels like an extraordinary milestone. This journey has taken me from a place of isolation to a vibrant community of other men. Here, I've rediscovered the power of connection and learned vital tools for sober living and personal development. Leading creative energy initiatives, sharing the meditative aspects of art, and engaging in insightful groups like "Coffee Talk" have enriched my experience. The support and guidance, particularly from my counselor Melissa, have been invaluable. I am profoundly grateful for this opportunity to rebuild my life in such a nurturing environment.

Groups is AWESOME, I've been coming here for about 2 years I think. They are MORE than just a place to get your medicine and run, they are understanding and you can ALWAYS ALWAYS be honest with them. They will help you and be there for you to the best of their ability as long as you show up and participate. If you really want this, if you show that you care about your recovery, they show they care maybe more than you do!. The Group setting is a little nerve racking at first, but everyone is open and wants to listen and help, you just have to let people into your heart, its the only way ❤

I am giving Maine Health 5 ⭐✨⭐ April, Patricia, & Alivia were incredible nurses!. The nurses were super pros. 1 was the leader & she ensured all equipment was at the ready. The team was great! My only complaint was the wait. My appointment was at 1:40 & I waited an extremely long time. Dr.Eid came to my waiting room & explained the delay. I appreciate any information so with that being said all went well. Dr. Eid & Dr Anesthesia informed me of each step, & asked if I had any questions. I could not watch the procedure. I can only say all was thorough & done with care. I'd love to watch the entirety. I hope they didn't talk about me without my being able to reply! Haha! After I came out of my sleep I was a total goof. I prayed with Dr. A. Pre-op & He patiently sat with me which was was very cool, I said my prayer & Amen. Thank you Dr. Eid. I am Impatient. I was asked to stay another night for observation due to erractic 02. I was hungry hungry & extra hungry. Somewhat stressed due to family matters & wanted to exit. That's on me. Next is pathology. I'll continue praying. Amen 😇

I had a great experience taking an Impaired Driving course here this summer. After years of trying to sort out my license, the people here were beyond helpful and knowledgeable of the process—they explained everything upfront in terms of cost and expectations. Trina was especially helpful, along with the rest of the staff. I felt seen as a human and truly appreciated their welcoming and positive attitude—I felt I really benefited from taking their program overall. This is really refreshing, after running into what feels like so many roadblocks in an already difficult situation to deal with for many. I am more than grateful that I chose SENHS to take my courses, it felt they actually cared and were very helpful and efficient with the steps along the way.

I was a client at SENHS from December 2020 - April 24th 2021. I did the Arc program and then I did Turning Point. We had a Covid outbreak, staff was professional and helped everyone find some place to go and even housed some of the clients until Covid was out of the building. The 5 months that I was there every staff member was professional and cared about both the clients and workers. I cannot say enough good things about them. I am 1 year sober November 30th because SENHS gave me the proper tools for my toolbox to make this work 1day at a time.

Tough review. Ill keep it short. Providers here aren't bad at all but practice seemed to cut back over time on each session in the 4.5 years I was a patient working most of time as a truck driver to this date still. I actually did get well for a most of time but at end lost it on everyone quitting practice and burning bridges with them. It's goes both ways as far my how I was and my thoughts with experience there. 4 to 5 stars first 3 years and 3 at end of tenure as a patient. I blame myself for some of it and should have kept a journal on my progression.
