I cannot say enough good about Aware Recovery Care going back to February 2023. My first involvement was with their In-Home Detox team consisting of RN Jenn Aguire and nurses Tabitha and Krystal who came to my home for at least seven straight days to get me detoxed. This was critical to me as at the time I was unwilling to enter in residence detox having had a negative experience in the past. I credit them with saving my life. Their kind and compassionate care showed me that there was indeed some hope for me going forward. Following detox Aware counselors Sam Hayes and Amber Gelinas continued home visits working very closely with me in keeping me on the road to sobriety. I also received monthly assessments by an RN and a session with a Psychiatrist. After six months my insurance lapsed but thankfully I was eligible to enter their Alumni Program consisting of multiple Zoom meetings during the week with Aware professionals. In addition they also host various events in different locations with other Alumni of the program. You always feel that Aware is right there with you every step of the way. I could carry on much longer but let me finish by saying that I consider the Aware professionals I have dealt with to be more than just counselors but as friends as well. I am welcome back in the lives of my children and most importantly my Grandchildren. On November 24 I will be collecting my Nine Month sobriety chip at my AA Home Group. I credit a great deal of my success on Aware Recovery.

Green Mountain Treatment Center saved my life. I was sick and scared when I arrived, but the transformation that occurred for me during the 80 days I spent on the mountain was nothing short of a miracle.
I quickly recognized that hard work on my part needed to be done, or I'd be miserable and missing out on the gifts of the program. Thankfully, there is an incredible staff in place who walked with me through the introspection I had to do and showed me that recovery was possible. I marked 5 months sober yesterday and I truly believe that God removed my alcoholic obsession while I was on the mountain.
Everyone's experience is different and I can only speak of my own, but I personally could not see myself succeeding as I did in any other facility. I'll be thankful to Green Mountain for the rest of my life.

Antrim House was hands down the best treatment center I have been to and I know that I was not the only client that felt that way. All of the staff at Antrim made me feel heard and catered to our needs always. The BHA’s, Clinicians, Providers, Nursing Staff all went above and beyond to help me out throughout my stay there. Had some amazing talks with Brittany, Sherrie, Bailey, Chris D, Daniella, Wanda, Trevor, Lisa, Trish, Ashley, Joe and more that I will never forget. The food there cooked by Leah was top notch and the best food I’ve ever had at a treatment center. I love the fact that Krystle the alumni coordinator is so involved in her job and so passionate about what she does. It is really cool to me that she is so productive and proactive about keeping everyone in contact on the alumni app for events so we can all keep in touch and continue on together as a community in our recovery journey so that we have each other to lift one another up each step of the way. I won’t forget the amazing staff that held groups that I absorbed so much from, I will always feel forever grateful and forever blessed to have found Antrim House in my searches for a treatment center. I feel it was by the grace of God that it all worked out the way it did. When it was colum health, it was THE BEST. The doctors and the staff and nurse practitioners truely care and want to make a difference. Now it's changed hands, obviously the same people that still work there are still wonderful but their policies are a little different and it just seems colder.

I have read some of the negative reviews on here and the only thing I can say is when your going through detox every bad thing that happens is greatly magnified and things are not always as bad as you think. It’s a detox not day camp. If you are truly being sick and tired of being sick and tired and you want help getting clean and sober I would suggest going to Farnum. This place definitely saved my life. If you are looking for a place that will help in your recovery then please reach out to them. I didn’t get it right the first time so I’ve been there twice over the course of 5 years but both times I’ve been there all of the staff were all very helpful and caring. To anyone reading this “you are not alone and recovery is at your fingertips.” Good luck!

I think the staff does a great job at New Season Concord, N. H. I constantly hear people talking bad about the clinic, and just putting it down. My thoughts would be that more then likely they probably would never open such a place of there wasn't proof of it working. Or should I say, if the success rate wasn't there. But anyways, in all reality, it honestly is what you make of it. You basically figure out how you want your goal of sobriety to go, with the help needed from the Doctor, Nurses, and the rest of the staff. Just had one of my last groups with Kyle. Even though it was a tough reality to deal with an OUI, he made it incredibly welcoming and comfortable to be in group, he also made things very easy to get through, navigate and find. Definitely hope to meet him again but under better circumstances!

Even though the location in which the sober house is located isn't exactly the best, I'd still recommend it to any military vet looking for a place to figure out where to go next after discharging from VA substance abuse/mental health treatment.
This place is here for those who want to get their lives on track. I'm grateful it exists & was there for my loved one when they needed it most.
If you are looking to get over on someone & not completely ready to do whatever is required to ultimately change your life... then this isn't the best place for you.

I’ve always had awesome clinicians Jim M. has been great to work with and has always been on point with helping me in every situation I come barreling in with!!! I couldn’t ask for a better person to be my clinician… except maybe Derek because he is the man 202 lol thanks Lowell Clinic I’m transferring so farewell for now I never know when I might come back to where I feel most comfortable and most supportive in my recovery!!!

The people that work here. That’s the difference. This place will absolutely, do whatever they can to help you. I honestly, can’t stress it enough.
This is run by Diana and she’s not just a big shot that stays in her office. The first week she was here, she invited me in, just to ask me how I was doing and if I needed anything to make it easier for me. Her door is always open and I always feel welcome. Felipe has been great to me from the moment I met him. He always makes the ins. problems or billing, much, much easier. Heidi and the nursing team, Sage, the two receptionists, and of course, my main man, Darrin. These people are now all friends, to me and I care for them all.
I do all my work and whatever is asked of me. If I have an appointment, I show up. I follow the program and I’ve had very few issues. It’s been one of the best moves I’ve made in my life.
Give this place a chance if you want to change things. I would refer anyone that wants a fresh start, here it is. This is it. Anyone can build a building but the people are always the key. In any business.

Staff was friendly and kind, went after work 15 minutes before they closed and they did not make me feel rushed or unwanted. Dr. Wu was a blessing. Proper diagnosis and speedy prescription. Even calling to make sure the pharmacy would be open and suggested which to go to so I could start getting better same day.
