I came to guest dose at 12:30 and was told I was too late to dose despite them closing at 1:30. Then was told, because I missed the first day, I'd have to put in a new order. But because it was the weekend, none of those kind of staff are in at my original treatment center. So I couldn't dose for 3 days. Then when I get back and my TC is trying to verify, they refuse to answer the phone after 5 calls, prolonging my dosing even further.Idk what yall got going on in here, but yall gotta tighten up. I've NEVER dealt with this level of inconsistency, and it's passing me off more because i CANT dose until these assholes answer the phone JUST to tell them I didn't get dosed here.Playing with people's sobriety?! Accepted Insurance

New Season Treatment Center – Southside works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Clients participating in a rehab aftercare program receive comprehensive and customized support as they leave high-intensity treatment, reintegrate into their community, and focus on maintaining their sobriety. These programs offer a wide variety of services to align with the client's unique and evolving needs, often including medical, mental health, and social service program referrals. Clients typically develop their drug rehab aftercare plan in conjunction with their case manager and care team.
heart-hands iconIntervention Services
A drug intervention in Virginia requires careful planning and execution. Due to complex family dynamics, intervention services are often necessary to help families successfully navigate the process. An intervention specialist can help family members plan what they will say and then facilitate the conversation. This expert also educates everyone involved about addiction, enabling behaviors, and treatment options.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

When you enroll in drug rehab in Virginia, a treatment plan is designed by professional staff in order to help you overcome drug addiction and modify addictive behaviors. This may include evidence-based treatments, group and individual therapy, and relapse prevention.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.
lgbtq-program thumbnail image
LGBTQ Program
Recovery is most successful when clients feel accepted and validated by their peers and treatment providers. Facilities that offer LGBTQ-inclusive programming are committed to creating a safe space where everyone can grow and recover without fear of judgment or discrimination. They will have dedicated policies in place to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters free expression.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

The dosing nurses especially Ms Pam are exceptional women! They not only give you your meds but they will talk to you if you need to vent etc....they get to know you so well they know when you're not yourself. I appreciate the love and concern the staff gives and would not change clinics if a new one opened next door to it! By the way Ms Pam goes over and above her job description to show her love and concern for her patients

I’ve had a long journey at New Seasons and through thick and thin, good or bad, they’ve never given up on me. I can honestly say they feel more like family than a center and every morning I look forward to seeing the people who support me most in my recovery. I want to say thank you to nurse Pam for her encouraging words and putting a smile on my face every morning along with a laugh, and another thank you to Dr. P for his unwavering commitment to my care… New Seasons wouldn’t be the same without y’all! ✨

My wife and I have been coming to this clinic it will be a year in June and it was the absolute best thing we had ever done.thr staff is absolutely amazing, they always have a smile on their faces and never act like you are a bother to them no matter what you ask them to do,we have never been treated like we are just another addict.and pam is absolutely amazing serving us at the dosing window , again she always always has a smile on her face and the line can be almost out the front door and she comes in if she's not already back there and in a very few minutes everybody has been served and gone she goes above and beyond her job to help people, one day my daughter had to go to her ER and was going to miss her dose for that day but no way was pam going to have that she got on the phone with the ER doctor and got my daughter her dose at the ER she stayed past closing time to make sure my daughter didn't go without her methodone that day and I will forever be indeted to her for that.not everyone would have stayed over to get my daughter taken care of that day.she is very professional and friendly at the same time.so coming to this clinic would be the best thing you can do for yourself.thamk you new season's for everything y'all do, BUT A EXTRA EXTRA SPECIAL THANK YOU TO PAM FOR TAKING CARE OF US EVERY WEEK YOUR THE ABSOLUTE BEST... thanks again,Mike wolohan and his wife Phyllis and daughter Katie❤️💯😘👍🌄

To each his own , everybody has their own way of dealing, coping with things in life and all of that, I my personal opinion some get mad your not clean just stoping 1 drug and replacing it w another true sad but true that's a fact if want to put that way , but that's why your as a patient have your own personal counselors also know the other counselors the doctors a s all they all to me always seem happy and more then ready willing and able 2 listen and talk get advice help from they all usually always seen to be awake and ready to help in anyway . They also usually have little like fun interesting things going on hat day oh day twin day things that all of us bright young ❤️ old married in, married family's couples singles and used to offer coffee cold water hot chocolate but people had to ruine that being greedy and can't be adults pick up and clean up. After their own selves sad how only take a few bad people without any manners , no home training 2 ruine it for the others that did do and really needed liked and appreciated that looked forward to it even ya know , the staff is amazing to me and all the people I know who go here . Has helped my husband and I out stay clean not be dead like most of our long time close friends that we have unfortunately due 2 drugs have lost sad but true love and miss them all but don't want 2 join them any time soon for God sakes good luck and god Bless to all.
