Unfortunately, sometimes this leads them to abuse drugs and alcohol. Lo
These are great folks here. A close friend of our family (Single Mother) approached me about her Son. He was in bad shape with drugs and had been on the Street for 24 months. It was life or death. I was totally helpless until I got the # for Never Alone. We were able to get James (Her Son) in treatment almost immediately, followed by after care programs. James is now clean and sober and counseling other youths struggling with drugs. They saved his Life!!

As a parent, choosing treatment for your child is incredibly difficult, but sending them to Never Alone was the best decision we could have made. The staff showed genuine compassion and truly cared about my child’s well-being, not just their recovery but their emotional growth too. We saw positive changes that gave our family hope again. Communication with parents was great, and my child felt safe and supported the entire time. I’m so grateful for everything they did for our family.

Navigate through the most challenging times; it is a commendable organization that provides assistance to youth and families during their most difficult moments, particularly when they feel isolated and misunderstood. 'Never Alone' aids children and families in discovering hope and guidance during their darkest hours. I will always be thankful for their empathetic support.

Over the last 5 years I have been a patient in many world class hospitals in New York City and in the last 2 years I have been a patient at Health Alliance Hospital twice. During those stays, I can say that the doctors, nurses, and nurse assistants are exceptional. They are as good if not better then some of the personnel in the highly touted hospitals. I love everything about Gateway HV! Gateway has been there for my brother (and therefore my family) for nearly 15 years. My brother has been helped with job coaching on the job, internships and computer courses. We were thinking of signing up with the job help, Health Home care case management and PROS (he could get psychiatry through that program. It would be great to have all his services right in one place. My brother has felt like staff are friends that he can rely on. Stephanie Turco, CEO is a dynamic leader...and fun! Top notch organization!

I have been going here for over a year now and it's a hit and miss situation the first therapist I had here was terrible and I could tell she didn't actually care about me. The first nurse practitioner I had here wasn't that good either. After that I would like to say that the second therapist I got was awesome he really helped me through some stuff, because of my work with him I have become a much less angry individual, I am sad to see him go, but people move all the time. I believe that the next therapist I have here will probably be good too. I would also like to say to people thinking about going here, take a chance, you may end up with someone you really like, and if you don't find someone else it is not much of a problem to switch therapists.

The best decision I ever made, this wasn't my first treatment center but definitely the last. I spent 6 months here and changed my life forever. The program and top notch AA, the staff is unforgettable. This place can change your life too but remember the work is personal. They give you the tools and teach you how to use them its up to you after that. The program invites you to change you just have to be willing. If you had a bad experience maybe you were looking for an exertional change, this is an inside job at the end of the day. Good luck if you in need of help, this is the first step. Highly recommended.

HighWatch Recovery Center is a truly extraordinary place— a rich history, rooted in the 12 Steps, and committed to deep, lasting transformation. The moment you arrive on the serene, spiritual campus in the hills of Connecticut, you feel the legacy of healing that has taken place there for decades. It’s a sacred space where recovery is honored and lives are rebuilt with dignity and purpose. The entire team at HighWatch is world-class—compassionate, knowledgeable, and deeply invested in each individual’s journey. The integration of evidence-based practices with spiritual growth and community support creates a powerful and balanced approach to healing. Every aspect of the program, from the therapeutic work to the fellowship among peers, reflects thoughtful care and an unwavering commitment to recovery. HighWatch isn’t just a treatment center—it’s a place where people find hope, rediscover themselves, and begin a new chapter. If you or someone you love is struggling, this is a place where true healing can begin. I’m beyond grateful to have witnessed the magic of this incredible program.

This place is amazing. The staff is beyond incredible. They make you feel like family. They truly care for you. I stayed for 95 days. Best thing I ever did. I felt welcomed by all the other guests as well. Everyone is there for the same reason so its very easy to get along and you build a family forever . I've been out for over 6 months now and I still talk to at least 15 of the guys. Highly recommend. In fact I have already recommend it to a few people. It's been 7 years since I was in treatment at Mountainside. What a great place. I had no idea where I was going the night I ended up there, but I'm glad I went. They set me on the right path. Mountainside changed my life, plain and simple. I came in during COVID when my casual drinking had turned into a daily necessity. I had tried detox a couple of times, thinking I could just reset and get back to normal on my own. Spoiler: I couldn’t. It took some trial and error, but Mountainside was patient with me every step of the way. The real shift happened when I finally surrendered and let myself lean into the full support they offered — especially letting God take the lead again. The staff, from intake to long-term recovery coaches, genuinely cared, and it showed. They gave me the space and the tools I needed to get honest, do the work, and actually break free. If you’re looking for a place that won’t give up on you and will walk with you through the process, Mountainside is it.

Mountainside Treatment Center was a life changing experience for me. I have been struggling to stay sober since my first time in treatment back in 2018. I have been able to put together long stints of soberity and unfortunately more than a few relapses. This latest came in April of 2025. After going into detox I made the best decision of my life by going back to the place that gave me the tools to put together 18 months. When I arrived I was going to stay for a "tune up" and spend 2 weeks. Within a week I knew I had to stay so I put in 5 weeks. My therapist Krystyna was the best and I continued to have the same with my therapist in IOP Lauren. I can go on and on about all the great things about Mountainside. I continue to stay involved through the amazing Alumni program on a monthly basis. The open AA meetings on Friday night are great. It says a lot about a place when you look forward to going back to visit on a monthly basis ! THANK YOU MOUNTAINSIDE for giving me the tools for a happy healthy life. 🙏🏽💪🏽❤️
