High Watch is by far the best the choice!
I wanted to recover somewhere that treated me like an actual person and not just a 'client'. During my month long stay here I was treated with the utmost respect.
I know that coming to terms with any addiction can be very painstaking but High Watch helped to make my transition to sobriety as comfortable and 'judgement free' as possible.

I spent 120 days at HighWatch, and deciding to go there was one of the best decisions of my life. I can't say enough about how great the staff is. A good amount of staff are former alcoholics/addicts which allows them to relate to guests. If your looking for a spa and not serious about recovering, go to Florida, if you really want to get better and get the support you need, go to HighWatch. Approaching 7 months clean and more to come!

I have very mixed feelings about this facility. I will definitely say that if you are on probation or you are state mandated, they will definitely mess with your results and force you to go to rehab and come back and stay longer. A lot of their 'therapy' practices are actually quite unethical (calling out someone for relapsing in front of group is public shaming and that is really NOT okay) and I had one of the male 'group leaders' completely ignore me when I was under extreme distress, crying during group.
This place has a lot of potential but unfortunately, money is the main objective here and it clearly shows. I also called them initially to get admitted into rehab to get assessed and they 'decided' to induct me into their program. Sadly, the program didn't help much at all and I didn't learn anything new there and I relapsed shortly after ending my stay there. It was a waste of time, honesty. The only good thing about this place was my therapist. I don't like the way they treat my friends here and I honestly wouldn't recommend it.
(Update.) I change my review after they've done some very unprofessional and unethical things to me which I find appalling. 1 star. Garbage.

Wanted to take a moment to dote on counselor Richelle Atkins. She has been instrumental in helping me change my life and work through my addiction. When you find someone like Richelle who is not just passionate about her job but truly cares for the people and community - that kind of dedication to the cause helps me to feel not so alone. Judgement has no place at Restorative and Richelle is a true reflection of that. I could tell her anything and she would only try and make it better for me or challenge me to think of how I can do better in the future. Even in the midst of her own personal struggles she shows up for her clients 100% each day. Thank you to Restorative Management and especially to Richelle for helping me get my life back - And the journey has just begun!

The experience of clients is wholly dependent on the counselors. I had a good one. Clerical, billing and administrative all seem to genuinely be helpful. Most of your experience will be with the counselors, so yeah it'll really depend.
They may be able to help you realize triggers and non-consequential thinking. They can help to connect you with the treatment level appropriate, if any. They aren't selling a model of treatment or cajoling clients to be better. They expect if you're there, you're ready to be honest and open to the opinion of a professional. What you do with that information is yours. If you ask, they'll tell you how they can best help.
When seeing reviews for this place, please keep in mind the mindset of most people going to a county service and taking time to leave a review. Most people feel entitled to have access to these services instead of the privilege it is, so will often come at it from that viewpoint. I understand the county is not required to provide any services, but am grateful that they do.

I feel angry and frustrated a lot that they don’t have a lot of medical knowledge or resources to help you come off of it. You hear a lot of “I’m not sure”. Even when I have met with doctors here at the clinic they don’t seem to be able to give much information or advice for outside doctors that specialize in managing withdrawal symptoms. I am on 10 mg and every time I go down one mg now it is pretty difficult because while the amount I reduce is the same the amount I am on is much lower so it feels like a lot more than 1mg … anyhow they should know more. They also didn’t at all prepare me for what this would be like. going on methadone is a MASSIVE undertaking. I hadn’t been using more than 8 months and would have likely done fine simply detoxing and having my symptoms managed in a facility for a week or so, instead I’ve been on this crap for 7 years and lost most of my beautiful teeth. Also you all need Jesus Christ that’s the only way you can succeed at this or anything else.

By far the best treatment center I’ve seen! The focus on sobriety and mental health combined really makes a huge difference while maintaining sobriety. The food is great, the groups are full of laughter and great information, and the staff really makes you feel like family. Tyler is wonderful! The intimidating sweetheart. She taught me to open up when I was uncomfortable and helped me to see sides of myself that I would never have otherwise. Myself, along with a large group of Veterans who feel the same about this facility want to warn our fellow Veterans. Please heed this warning. For Veterans who decide to come to this facility, you better be prepared for one of the worst rated VA facilities (by Veterans) in the country. Look it up if you don’t believe me. Medical malpractice, veteran suicides, selective benefits based on how you act - not what you’re eligible for, run rampant at this low ranked facility with zero oversight. The Psychology department turns away Veterans in crisis and the community care department maliciously tries to charge Veterans for pre-approved visits. I honestly care about Veterans; this VA facility does not. Please consider other options or demand community care from this facility. They can’t deny you. You have patient autonomy. Do not go here! Do not let yourselves suffer through medical malpractice at this VA facility. I encourage others to share their horrible experiences with this VA facility, and demand accountability through community care.
