I am so grateful for this organization, my case manager, and everyone else assisting in my case. I've been with them for about a year now and have made great progress in goals towards treatment and stable housing. These people work so hard to do the best for their clients and actually care. I will always be grateful of MHA, and I'd recommend them if you're someone with diagnosed mental illness and aren't really sure how to handle yourself. I cried more than once thinking of how helpful they've been and they've honestly improved my opinion towards strangers in general. Some people really are on your side. A case manager who goes by Simone is especially wonderful. 🩷 - Rhiannon

In 2001, I walked into St. Christopher’s Inn broken and lost in addiction. I’ve been sober ever since. Out of all the places I went, this was the place where it finally clicked for me. Their long term program and tough love approach were exactly what I needed no sugarcoating, no excuses, just real recovery and real accountability. If you’re truly tired of the life of drug abuse and genuinely want to change, I highly recommend St. Christopher’s Inn. The staff, the structure, and the brotherhood helped save my life. I still try to go back every summer for their annual picnic because that place will always mean something special to me. I owe them more than words can explain. God bless everyone there.

my sister has been at the Pines for about three weeks now. Definitely some superstars who need a big shout out. Chris, her nurse has been outstanding. Has gone way above and beyond trying to make sure that we make progress with her health. He even talked to me about her health after he was off the clock and heading out of the facility. I couldn't ask for anymore than what he has helped her with. Also the back up nurse for Chris. Was outstanding. Went over all of her medication with me. You could see that you really really cared about my sister. I'm not sure if her name but she was white in her early 30s with brown hair. The head dietitian I believe her name was Anne-Marie was outstanding. Went above and beyond to make sure all of my sisters dietary needs were taken care of down to the smallest detail. On several occasions, Debbie in activities was outstanding. Was doing everything she could to make my sisters visit as enjoyable as possible. The nurses on the fifth floor were all excellent and very helpful to me. Also, everyone at the Front reception was outstanding. Today there was a bad person when I was in there mistreating his girlfriend and the receptionist stepped up and told him he needed to leave the property. He was very unruly. She was very courageous and doing so❤️I know my sister was a handful so I appreciate everybody going above and beyond to have her try to make progress on her health. Thank you to everyone from the Pines❤️

Wanted to take a moment to dote on counselor Richelle Atkins. She has been instrumental in helping me change my life and work through my addiction. When you find someone like Richelle who is not just passionate about her job but truly cares for the people and community - that kind of dedication to the cause helps me to feel not so alone. Judgement has no place at Restorative and Richelle is a true reflection of that. I could tell her anything and she would only try and make it better for me or challenge me to think of how I can do better in the future. Even in the midst of her own personal struggles she shows up for her clients 100% each day. Thank you to Restorative Management and especially to Richelle for helping me get my life back - And the journey has just begun!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Hoving Home. From the moment you arrive, you can feel the love, peace, and purpose that fills the entire property. It’s truly a beautiful, serene place that creates a safe and healing environment for women seeking transformation. The staff is incredibly compassionate and dedicated, and the volunteers go above and beyond to support each woman’s journey. What really sets this program apart is the genuine sisterhood that is built—it’s not just for the time you’re there, but something that lasts a lifetime. The Hoving Home didn’t just help me—it completely changed me. Through their Christ-centered approach, I was reintroduced to Jesus in a deeply personal and meaningful way. That alone has impacted every area of my life for the better. If you or someone you love is struggling and needs help, I wholeheartedly encourage you to consider The Hoving Home. 10/10 the best rehabilitation/discipleship program. This place saved my life! Graduated in 2019 after being a homeless heroin/crack addict for years. This place gave me the space and time to grow a real relationship with Jesus. I had no hope and no self worth. Today I am 7 3/4 yrs clean from heroin and crack. I have a Salary and an apartment in Houston TX, happily married for 3 years. I also had been through many other programs before I came to the Hoving Home in Garrison NY.
