I recently delivered my third child at Phelps and it was the absolute best birthing experience I’ve ever had. Comparing it to White Plains Hospital, Greenwich Hospital and my sisters recent experience at Lawrence in Bronxville, Phelps Hospital leaves them in the dust. The delivery room was amazing, I loved the birthing tub. I had the most wonderful and kind doctor and nurses the whole stay. One of my favorite parts about Phelps though is their food. Other hospitals feel like hospital food, Phelps is gourmet, it feels like a hotel. I also had my thyroid surgery at Phelps so I recommend Phelps for pregnant moms and those needing other surgeries.

Leaving a review for a hospital is not something I would ordinarily think of doing, but in this case I will make an exception. My 90 year old mother in law suffered a fall and we brought her to Phelps from the Bronx because we did not want to wait 10 hours in an emergency room. She received exceptional care from the Doctors and staff and she will be going home confident she will make a full recovery. Every staff member from the Orthopedic Surgeon down to the security staff were compassionate, professional, courteous and friendly. I have never had such a good experience with a hospital as I have with Phelps.

I would like to share some thoughts about Mountainside and especially our sons recovery coach Christina.
Following his completion of a 28 day in-patient program with another provider he enrolled at Mountainside Chappaqua. He is in their Outside Patient and Recovery Coaching programs. Our son and Christina have been working together for about five months. They talk daily and meet weekly. A few weeks into the program Christina began doing weekly calls with my wife and me.
Our son works with various therapists, clinicians and other staff at Mountainside. He is complimentary of the entire organization and their contribution in helping him understand his addiction and providing recovery support. My wife and I only work with Christina.
Christina is EXCELLENT. She balances professional counseling, insight, accountability, great communication skills and timely follow-up. Having walked this life herself she is highly skilled and relatable but it’s never about her. Christina cares. She has built valued trust with all of is. My wife’s and my weekly calls provide an update on his progress and any open issues. She reminds us that he is accountable for his own recovery and keeps us in our lane. Most important she has helped keep our sons recovery moving positively forward day after day.

I was so lost and giving up on life and a few good suggestions brought me here. Everyone from the friar in charge of the inn to security and maintenance made me feel welcome. The counselors are the best I’ve ever dealt with. This place completely saved my life, it taught me a new way to live and that I am a man, worthy of love and respect. Since there, in 2017, I had one slip up about a year after I graduated, but that was almost 8 years ago now. Since then, I went to welding school, they set me up in a halfway house in NYC, moved back home to Rochester, NY. I was mandated by a judge to go there for 3 months. I spent 7 1/2 months there and it was the best thing to happen to me. I am clean and sober since 12/3/23 . I am indebted to all the staff and fellow Brothers Christopher for the sobriety I now enjoy. I haven't had this much sober time since 1986.

Note that review is for the 3 Centerock Rd facility of the hospital, but I am also posting it here as doctors use both facilities.
My recent experience at Montefiore Einstein (3 Centerock Rd, West Nyack) for a full Achilles tendon rupture repair was overwhelmingly positive, thanks to the exceptional care I received from the entire staff.
Dr. Fond took my emergency call when it happened over the weekend and ensured I got in immediately once the hospital opened to see him for the initial diagnosis.
From the moment I arrived for my pre-visits and surgery, Paul at the front door was a wonderful first point of contact. He was always ready with a wheelchair, a friendly smile, and great conversation.
The administrative process, which can often be daunting, was made seamless by Lisa, who expertly navigated the pre-approvals needed for my surgery with impressive speed and efficiency.
In the pre-op area, nurses Chris and Nicole were fantastic. They were professional and so personable, and their friendly demeanor helped put me at ease during a stressful time.
I'm also immensely grateful to the anesthesiologist, Dr. Whalen, who not only kept me safe throughout the procedure but also took the time to ensure I felt calm and secure before it even began.
After surgery, Dennis in recovery spent so much time with me, making sure I was coming out of the nerve block process comfortably and appropriately, and preparing me for my departure with thorough instructions.
And finally, I cannot thank Dr. Somberg enough. He is a truly caring and forthright surgeon who has earned my complete trust over the years. He moved quickly to schedule my surgery, provided clear and concise explanations of the entire process, and performed the procedure exactly as he described. I could not ask for better doctor.
Dealing with a full Achilles rupture is a frightening and lengthy process, but knowing I have Dr. Somberg and the entire team on my side gives me confidence in my recovery. The professionalism and kindness of everyone I encountered made all the difference.

I have been to an inpatient facility where this was not the case, and have nothing but positive things to say about the counseling center. I am a disabled veteran and have been seen at the Goshen VA Clinic regularly since 2016. The care there has always been excellent. It is a small clinic, so you have to adapt to their resources, like, that the lab work is only done in the mornings, and the My Healthy Vet self-service kiosk doesn't work, but the reception staff have always been very good.

This is a great outpatient program. I saw some of the negative comments and I totally disagree. The counselors are awesome. They are not judgemental. They call clients on their BS!! Of course there are clients who are mandated. That's every rehab. But there are also people who are there because they need help and want to be there. I loved the counselors because they were very in tune to the disease of addiction. Someone mentioned the "older white male" counselor. He was one of my favorites. They are very compassionate. They also run their groups efficiently. I've been to some outpatient programs where the counselors can't control the groups and by the time the group is over...I forgot what the actual group topic was. I would definitely recommend this treatment program to anyone who really wants help with their addiction.

My son was sent here from Four Winds Katonah! My son was at Four Winds for several weeks. I couldn't have visits because they said they couldn't regulate him. Since he has been at Rockland he was only been restrained once! Since then staff have told me he regulates himself! Have had a couple of visits and phone calls daily! Amanda the Social worker is Amazing! Our son said the staff help him a lot! I can't wait until he is able to return home and Rockland is making that possible!

Note that review is for the 3 Centerock Rd facility of the hospital, but I am also posting it here as doctors use both facilities.
My recent experience at Montefiore Einstein (3 Centerock Rd, West Nyack) for a full Achilles tendon rupture repair was overwhelmingly positive, thanks to the exceptional care I received from the entire staff.
Dr. Fond took my emergency call when it happened over the weekend and ensured I got in immediately once the hospital opened to see him for the initial diagnosis.
From the moment I arrived for my pre-visits and surgery, Paul at the front door was a wonderful first point of contact. He was always ready with a wheelchair, a friendly smile, and great conversation.
The administrative process, which can often be daunting, was made seamless by Lisa, who expertly navigated the pre-approvals needed for my surgery with impressive speed and efficiency.
In the pre-op area, nurses Chris and Nicole were fantastic. They were professional and so personable, and their friendly demeanor helped put me at ease during a stressful time.
I'm also immensely grateful to the anesthesiologist, Dr. Whalen, who not only kept me safe throughout the procedure but also took the time to ensure I felt calm and secure before it even began.
After surgery, Dennis in recovery spent so much time with me, making sure I was coming out of the nerve block process comfortably and appropriately, and preparing me for my departure with thorough instructions.
And finally, I cannot thank Dr. Somberg enough. He is a truly caring and forthright surgeon who has earned my complete trust over the years. He moved quickly to schedule my surgery, provided clear and concise explanations of the entire process, and performed the procedure exactly as he described. I could not ask for better doctor.
Dealing with a full Achilles rupture is a frightening and lengthy process, but knowing I have Dr. Somberg and the entire team on my side gives me confidence in my recovery. The professionalism and kindness of everyone I encountered made all the difference.

I used Good Samaritan hospital for both outpatient and emergency room services recently. The entire staff is absolutely amazing. Special kudos to the folks in the emergency room who were so kind and helpful, especially Liz-my ER nurse who had my back from the moment I walked in, Michele from registration to who I say enjoy Hawaii (😜), the ER doc, Dr. Ellerman who looks resplendent in pink, and of course my fellow backgammon admitting nurse Tessa who not only made me laugh but made sure that everything was set up properly from the moment I walked in the door.

Amazing experience at GSH my daughter needed a procedure done it was done same day went through ASU. The entire staff feom ASU and the OR were so extremely amazing they made her feel comfortable and were very accommodating to her at all times . I started IOP at NewLife back in January & just recently graduated this month. The positive impact it had & made on me .. I honestly don’t think I could’ve done it without my counselor Sam & the owner Bert! From the rip they made me feel super comfortable & not judged. As soon as you walk in they’re nothing but super helpful & supportive. It’s an awesome/wonderful environment & very welcoming with skilled staff. When I started I recently just had given birth & I was super nervous thinking it would be impossible to make it to groups 3 times a week but they gave me the option of doing it through ZOOM which not many places do, right there that was like a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Recap was a place that has helped me while I was in recovery... every year they give out turkey basket they have a good food pantry... They have a men's half way house, subsidized housing for men and women, and an outpatient... If u need help while you are in recovery I definitely recommend
