It's been a few years since I've been a member of RSS on River St. in Oneonta but I wanted to give a review. This organization helped me when I had no family or friends or anyone in this world. God lead me to RSS and they helped change my life. Sherry Stallone and her staff were kind., respectful and understanding when I was incapable and afraid and misunderstood. My agoraphobia would have taken over my life had it not been for the help given and received from RSS and the Mental health office they sent me to in Oneonta. RSS works with the community and the individual to enable people like me with mental health issues to become a working and contributing member of society. RSS was the VERY first step for me that opened all the other doors I could not open myself. They supported me all the way until I was able to be launched on my own. My wife went here experiencing some chest pains. We were astonished at the care and staff here. From the security, front desk and er staff, everyone was friendly and extremely helpful. Todd was our er doctor, he was very patient, understanding, and went well out of his way to find the cause to her issues. Can't thank them enough for the care they provided!!

The experience of clients is wholly dependent on the counselors. I had a good one. Clerical, billing and administrative all seem to genuinely be helpful. Most of your experience will be with the counselors, so yeah it'll really depend. They may be able to help you realize triggers and non-consequential thinking. They can help to connect you with the treatment level appropriate, if any. They aren't selling a model of treatment or cajoling clients to be better. They expect if you're there, you're ready to be honest and open to the opinion of a professional. What you do with that information is yours. If you ask, they'll tell you how they can best help. When seeing reviews for this place, please keep in mind the mindset of most people going to a county service and taking time to leave a review. Most people feel entitled to have access to these services instead of the privilege it is, so will often come at it from that viewpoint. I understand the county is not required to provide any services, but am grateful that they do.

Place was horrible, very few good caring counselors. Recently there was a change at the top and seems to be better. Tiffany, Carly and Fawn along with the office staff are good and helpful. I was lied to, told I had to leave then got an attorney and it all changed. It is getting better there and hopefully it continues

My therapist Carly listens to me. Allison Thomas my psychiatrist I trust. I have not had a bad experience with this office. Only problem is sometimes can be hard to get an appointment because they are so booked always. Otherwise very helpful and nice people

Great place where I got sober and stayed clean for two years now after finishing the program. I came from California but needed to leave to get help so I came to NY and got organized with Save The Michaels and they linked me with McPike's ATC and it was a pretty fun experience. I met a lot of people and found my group to hangout with and we had some laughs that I'll never forget. Down to Earth staff and down to Earth patients. They will even schedule you a ride to pick you up themselves if need be to enter treatment and also going home when you discharge. They take care of everybody. Only bad thing about it is that you can't smoke and the coffee is decaffeinated but after awhile your body and mind adapt. Thank you to Jackie and Tracy and Travis you left an impact on me. Now I was able to go back to my home state of California where I belong with the strength to do better this time. Got my 2nd chance.

Nice little food pantry who serves quick, easy, and tasty meals weekly or bi weekly which is convenient. And they give good amount for weekly services. My 91 year old Mom stayed at Folts re-hab for 3 weeks to regain strength and wound care. She truly enjoyed herself and was impressed by the caring nature of all the staff. Flexible treatment options, but the receptionist never has any information. Shes getting better, but i feel like they dont train properly. I heard a few employees talkjng bad on a client as well. I loved it there. When I got out I for some reason wanted to go back. It felt like home. We heard stories about the old building and it not being the best but the new building was great. The staff were awesome watching movies and playing games with them were the best things ever. Staff are great at their jobs. Foods actually pretty good. Their chicken reggies was so good. We only had 6 people in my ward during my stay. They were good kids I liked most of them. By the way if anyone found mine and Alexa’s custom uno cards lmk. And harshit is the best staff member by far. That’s all I gotta say
