Nice little food pantry who serves quick, easy, and tasty meals weekly or bi weekly which is convenient. And they give good amount for weekly services. I was hoping for more than a bag,because knowhere as much as thea Bowman, who give you almost a whole grocery store when you go in, but when he said weekly food pantry, that's when it made sense. And the food choices are good quality. Humbled at how fast they were and how good quality the food was. Something to bring you back to the lord. Thank God 🙏

Three years ago I went through the Parker House, SRO, and now live at their West Street Apts. I will always be grateful for the help they provided.

The Johnson Park Center is a true blessing to our community and the surrounding areas! The staff is courteous, friendly and always helpful whilst being respectful of all and their circumstances. This organization is the true embodiment of community service and love thy neighbor and I'm so very grateful for them!

I had a life changing experience at the in patient program I would recommend it to anyone who suffers form the disease of addiction. The staff are all professional, caring and really care about the people they work with, Danny C. was my councilor and he is by far the most genuine and caring person I have met in my life he is inspirational and a glowing example that Recovery is possible, He makes recovery look great!!! THANKS TO ALL THE STAFF AT HEILO!!!! Just an update on this review. I'm now over year sober thanks to the wisdom taught and the lessons learned during my time at insights house at Helio, I am very grateful for my time under there care. I would strongly recommend anybody who suffers from the disease of addiction or has a loved one that suffers from this disease to strongly consider taking advantage of this program to start their path to sobriety. THANK YOU AGAIN TO ALL THE STAFF!!!!

I have been to several treatment centers and I feel as though I got the most out of this place not only because i was ready to be sober but because it is a great program. I think there is still to much down time and weekends are long and boring. I feel that you will get out of it what you put in and that is true for most aspects of life.

Heather was a godsend when I needed help the most. I'm clean, happy, healthy and back on track.

Many great services available. Great daycare/preschool. Good place for children.

They have a foodsense program $20.50gets you some great meats,cheeses,veg.fruits etc then they have add one look ot up fOodsense.

I just love how my son has grown. He taught himself how to read. They are always apart of his care and they genuinely care even though my son has his moments. But I’m blessed to have such a great round of helping and caring people!

I as a young teenager ended up here as well in 1987-1988. I was a very troubled teen with a lot of trust issues towards adults. I stayed on the lowest level of the behavioral level system for a long while until I agreed to try medication as a alternate helping tool. I went straight to the top of the level system and stayed there til I went home. Thank you to all the people who helped me and made me who I am today. I remember making a video for the house of the good shepherd as a model and would really love to get a copy of that video from so long ago.

I really appreciate the staff here. The groups are awesome and the tools that Milestone provide are essential! They teach real life situations as well as coping skills, which are of Today's Society that when faced with real life situations I have learned and am learning the tools to survive and say no and mean No! I would recommend this place for anybody struggling and looking for a way off the bottom! Thank you...

Just started going here and its like HEAVEN compared to HELL aka Beacon. Thank you guys so much for your professionlism and realism. It means a lot to mean.

I loved it there. When I got out I for some reason wanted to go back. It felt like home. We heard stories about the old building and it not being the best but the new building was great. The staff were awesome watching movies and playing games with them were the best things ever. Staff are great at their jobs. Foods actually pretty good. Their chicken reggies was so good. We only had 6 people in my ward during my stay. They were good kids I liked most of them. By the way if anyone found mine and Alexa’s custom uno cards lmk. And harshit is the best staff member by far. That’s all I gotta say

This facility communicated so well, they were on target with each issue. So much attentiveness to my family member. A clean facility full of kind people!!

No longer exists. All business was transferred to Community Health and Behavioral Services at 1427 Genesee Street.

The doctor that treats me is an awesome person, I truly believe he cares about us patients. I have also spoken to some other doctors, and they have been very friendly and helpful. When it comes to the staff, I'm not that happy, they are careless and unorganized sometimes, they are nice, but they should learn how to do their job.

The people there are normal everyday folks. They are caring and understanding. They will love you till you can love yourself and then keep on loving you.

Best place ever I did 35 days in rehab and received the best service available they’re awesome and wount judge you Im now 3 yrs clean and sober thanks to common wealth and staff!

It's unbelievable the number of services and programs that are obtainable and are being provided for the people of CNY with disabilities and all abilities, homelessness and mental health challenges . Helped me a lot with my traumas and amazing front desk. Wait times are short and therapy sessions feel quick and easy to schedule. Very supportive of lgbtq and call me my performed name.

If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be here. Loyal to their help in healing me after an assault in 2014; which left me with PTSD. I am forever grateful.

The receptionist is friendly, greets me by name. They sent emails in plenty of time for me to continue to schedule my upcoming appointments. My therapist is very effective. I have been in therapy at least 3 times before to make it through a difficult situation. This is the first time I have had EMDR and I can't say enough about how much it has helped me! Highly recommend!

Truly a blessing that this place exists. As a current resident I can honestly say that this place is great for anyone who's serious about their recovery. The staff is amazing, you can tell that they're not just here for a paycheck, and they genuinely try to make things as comfortable as possible. I spent the holidays here and they really made it easier to be here during that time. Jessica is phenomenal and she is super invested in the place as well each individual's treatment. As far as the usual questions and concerns: you get your own room, cable TV in each room, Wi-Fi available and you are allowed your phone and/or tablet, 3 meals a day (you have to give your food stamps while here but it's WELL worth it) and the cook (Nicossi) is not only great with the food but also a good staff member to have on hand, 2 washers & dryers on site, no smoking but what do you expect from a treatment facility? (Patches are available), on site medical staff, transportation is available for medical appointments as well as to cash any checks however you can't leave for any other reason (again that's expected), there are currently two 45 minute groups a day as well as a quick morning "check in", if you're in an MAT program you're transported to Helio's OTP clinic twice a week to dose and pick up take homes until the next trip, and the staff are really good at keeping a safe environment without coming off as total authoritarians. Again, this is a great place to begin your recovery journey and it's played a huge part in not only changing; but also saving my life. I just noticed that there weren't any reviews and wanted to give some information to those who might be interested in a program. Don't wait for "tomorrow" when you can begin the process of being a better version of you TODAY! 🙏🏻

Its hard for me, to get there. There's no bus shelter where you can sit while waiting for the bus to pick you up. My caseworker Rick Wellman isn't very good. I asked for different caseworker. But they never got back to me. With my bad leg I can't go to some distant part of Syracuse, because standing for long periods of time is painful. I'm not sure what to do. I also need serious dental work, specifically two root canals on my teeth. But that's in jeopardy too.

When needing these type of services, you want somebody that is personable, understanding, empathetic and has patience, and I have found all of that working with Kerry Little she is amazing. I just started with her, but already see that this is going to be a wonderful partnership.🫶🏽🙏🏽

I used 2 go there & my experience is very well they treat u like if they really do care about u & I do react ament them very highly they help me with me struggling with depression & suicide problems I think that Amanda is is very understanding person & wish that they were more like her Kevin epps
