Laurie Anderson 3 weeks ago The staff is awesome, as is Dr. Abidi; efficient, kind, empathetic, and highly skilled. Nurse Stacy was the best. It was like having a family member care for you. And, a shout out to the two young people who staffed the front desk at the hospital. They were upbeat and smiling. One of the two is a handsome young Yankees fan who has an infectious personality and who was able, in the short time we interacted with him, to completely diffuse the tension my husband and I had with respect to my upcoming procedure. I don't think people realize how important that first contact is. It sets the tone for the entire experience. So thank you to those young hospital representatives. I have no notes. UPDATE: I went to the E.R. on 6/8/2026 with a broken foot. All of the E.R. staff was attentive, responsive, empathetic, and caring. (There were a couple of unhoused people, who clearly were dealing with severe mental issues, who were patients; and I was blown away - and relieved - by how kindly and patiently they were treated; and happy that a social worker worked with them to address their immediate needs.) Angelica, among others, made the entire traumatic experience so much easier for me. I was admitted to have surgery the next day; and the medical nursing staff on the floor, the wonderful lady who cleaned the room, the anesthesiologist (with whom I interacted because he gave me a nerve block in the knee prior to surgery), the food coordinator (I'm a vegan, and she handled that beautifully), and - of course - Dr. Sweet - made the entire experience as free of stress and pain as possible. The people there were caring and really sweet. I owe them 2years an 5 months of my life so far bc they helped me get clean. Even when I'd just sit there coloring bc I was shutting down mentally they were great. I've colored them so many things to hang up and show future people that it does help. From coming in the door to you go out the door every one of them was very professional and they really care about you. She was absolutely amazing and so helpful, and got me through the abusive relationship I was in. Fast forward to the beginning of September I received a phone call saying how there was someone available for me to see again. Perfect timing because me and my ex had broken up a week before hand and I was in a bad mental state. I then started seeing Bailey. She’s an intern but she has a very successful career ahead of her. She helped me through the beginning stages of my terrible breakup while validating my feelings, coaching me through the struggles of the breakup, and much more. She was absolutely wonderful. I was put on Lexapri through Holli and for the last month I’ve been on it, it has helped tremendously. I feel like an entirely new person. Also Alana who does the discharge aftercare went out of her way completely just to help me find a place to go down South she spent hours of her time when there's a full house at marwars. I couldn't thank her enough. She's also very beautiful lol The nursing staff was generally great, and most were supportive and respectful. A couple could be a bit difficult at times, but overall, the team made a positive difference in my stay. Your fed very well. Staff is great all around. They also have a Shield program for firefighters, police, EMTs, and vets. You will get know Emil a councelor who is incredible. The best meetings I went to where in the Shiels meetings. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was peaceful, welcoming, and incredibly therapeutic. The beautiful mountain views, nature walks, fun outings, and amazing women’s meetings created an environment where healing felt possible. My counseling sessions with Jenna were life-changing. She helped put my mind at ease, introduced me to CBT in a way I could truly apply, and supported my personal growth every step of the way. The groups led by Christina, Ariel, and Jenna on topics like codependency, neuroplasticity, and shadow work were insightful, informative, and helped me better understand myself and my recovery. The house staff, especially Nicole, Tiffany, and Mariah, made me feel safe, supported, and truly at home. Pastor Laurie also had a profound impact on my journey, helping me strengthen my faith through her Christian group and the Recovery Bible she gifted us. Being able to connect Scripture with my recovery was incredibly meaningful. A special thank you to Sandy, who runs the program. She is genuinely one of the kindest, most compassionate, and selfless people I’ve ever met. Her heart for helping others is evident in everything she does. The only thing I would say is that I was not able to see a lactation consultant with my last baby. My baby was born Easter weekend, so I didn't even get to see an lacation consultant that Monday of discharge. When I had my first baby, there were three LCs employed there. Now, I think there is only one. I'd highly recommend that management would hire at least a second LC to be there on the weekends. The LC is available by phone after discharge but in person help would have been great! Moses Taylor is the place to have your baby. I had a great stay here when I delivered my baby in January. The staff are nice, and I had a beautiful clean room in the Mom/Baby section. This was my third baby delivered here and if we have anymore, we plan to deliver here again!
