I would recommend Avenues to anyone who is suffering from alcohol or drug addiction. The program was not only challenging but they made it so it was fun also! I learned more about my addiction and myself than I had even expected within my time at Avenues. Hands down the right place for me and anyone who suffers from addiction.

The best choice I ever made was coming to avenues! From the staff to the community, this is an amazing place. This was my 2nd time in treatment and I cant recommend it enough. I had Cassie as my counselor and she supported me and pushed me to the limit and I wouldn't have been able to do this again without her. Tyler the Alumni Coordinator works hard to set up after care and continue to support you once you graduate the program. Hands down 10 out of 10!

Every element of this treatment experience is 5-star: one-on-one counseling, group therapy, Adventure Trek, lodging, amenities, food, staff. Inpatient and outpatient services are the best you’ll find anywhere. Staff truly care for each individual and want to see them succeed in their recovery. A very special place. Love LC from the bottom of my heart 💚

I had never been to treatment for my drinking before, and I was terrified. When I called Little Creek Lodge, I was in bad shape — one of the worst days of my drinking. From that first call, everything changed. Within 30 minutes my insurance was verified and I was on my way to detox. After detox, an employee from LCL came to pick me up, and the moment I arrived I felt a sense of relief. LCL follows a 12-step recovery process. I’m not religious — I used to call myself an atheist, and now I’d say I’m agnostic — so the idea of going to an AA meeting was scary. But what I found was nothing like what I imagined. AA at LCL is all about acceptance, community, and helping each other. There’s no judgment, only support. The facility itself is beautiful — cozy, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. The beds are comfortable, and there are more than enough bathrooms to make everyone feel at home. The environment is peaceful, which made it easier to focus fully on recovery. The food deserves its own mention. They have an actual chef (love you, Bob!) who trained at the Culinary Institute of America. Every meal was absolutely delicious — far beyond what I ever expected from treatment food. The staff is what truly sets Little Creek apart. Every single person genuinely cares about the residents. My counselor, Steve, was tough on me — exactly the way I asked him to be — and he pushed me to face things I had avoided for years. It wasn’t easy, but it was exactly what I needed. I also want to give a huge shout out to Goose (yes, that’s his name!), Mason, Dane, Allen, Meg, Dongo, and so many others. The nurses were incredible as well — always attentive, compassionate, and supportive. Another surprise was the activities. I’ve never been a “nature” person, but somehow I loved every second of it. We did yoga, horseback riding, archery, hikes, go-karts, kayaking, and more. It made recovery not just about the difficult work, but also about rediscovering joy and trying new things. The lodge is small, which I think is one of its strengths. It maxes out at 17 guys, and during my month there we averaged around 10. That intimacy made it easier to build strong connections with both the staff and other residents. As a gay man, I was also nervous at first, but I never once felt out of place. Even though I was probably the only gay person there, I felt welcomed and supported by everyone. They still call me 5 months later to check in on me. Proud to say I’m now 160 days sober today. I am beyond grateful for my time at Little Creek Lodge. They gave me the tools, encouragement, and community I needed when I couldn’t find it anywhere else. If you or someone you love is struggling, this is the place to go.

Where do I begin? Not only was this my first-ever rehabilitation experience, but it was also the most eye-opening experience I have ever had. I was uncertain about what to expect and, ultimately, I made the best decision possible. The staff, whom I refer to as specialists, made me feel immediately at home, and my counselor, Mike, went above and beyond in his duties. The facility offers numerous perks, including exceptional cuisine, impeccable grounds, and a spectacular overall atmosphere. I must note that the nurses are exceedingly polite and attentive to their patients' needs, although I did find it somewhat disappointing that doctor visits were limited to only once. Personally, I did not experience any significant issues during my stay, aside from one supervisor who, I discovered, was not particularly friendly to either patients or staff. One of the highlights of the facility is the presence of Monarch butterflies, which are hatched on-site. Deb, one of the specialists, consistently displayed a warm and welcoming smile that brightened everyone's day. Marworth offers a wide range of activities to keep patients engaged, as well as tailored treatment plans for individuals requiring additional support. I commend the facility on its outstanding work.

I went to Marworth for the first time after relapsing after about 5 years sober. When I went there I was a wildly unpleasant person to be around. I hated the world and myself. I was truly terrible to most of the staff. My behavior was argumentative, smug and mean at best. They still welcomed me back 3 more times. I was eventually given Amy as my primary counselor and, she not only took the time to try and understand why I was like that but, she also challenged me to be better. Over my time there I had the chance to get to know the staff very well. They're good people. Who genuinely want to help people get to the life they're meant to have. The specialists, rec team, cafeteria workers, house keeping, security(the list goes on and on)are wonderful. That's what makes Marworth great. It's not the amenities. It's not the rock climbing wall, gym, cafeteria, or anything else you can think of. It's the people that make this place what it is. Is it perfect? Absolutely not, but nothing is. When I went in there looking for all the things that bothered me, I got nothing out of it. When I allowed them to help me, I got everything out of it.

Serenity mountain changed my life! Between the caring house staff, knowledgeable clinical team and great activities, this is a great place to grow, learn and recover. While I was there, I was able to learn so much, about myself, my disease, and God. We had opportunities to go to off campus activities including drum aerobics, enerchi, yoga, church and even special things like concerts, ice cream runs, local NA/AA meetings and women’s retreats! The councilors genuinely care and want the best for each and every one of the girls on the mountain, and the house staff does everything they can to keep us safe, healthy, and happy throughout our time there. Sandy and Joe genuinely do their best to help each individual woman and truly care about recovery. The food is much better than most rehabs, and the rooms are large, clean and very comfortable. There is even two house dogs, Chloe and poppi, who make adjusting to the mountain much easier and provide great emotional support when needed! Overall, I highly recommend serenity mountain if addiction is something you struggle with, the road to recovery isn’t always easy, but the mountain is a great stopping point along the journey!

This facility specifically has meant so much to me, my family, and my sobriety thus far. There is so much power in a place where sobriety can be found not only amongst the clients, but also the staff. Whether it's your first, or your 21st rehab, this is a place where you can find the knowledge and support to succeed. Of course, having amazing meals, clinical support, and in-depth groups only makes the experience that much better. I felt safe to open up and know my struggles would be met with intentionality and care. If you are debating which rehab is for you, I highly recommend starting here. Even living 4.5hrs away didn't stop Clearbrook from driving to get me and sharing their expertise and care. Take the step and see how these amazing people can change your life. You won't regret it.

I came to TPALS 5 years ago as a broken human being with nothing left inside and nothing left to give. I was very defiant in the beginning of the treatment process because of my experiences in the past and was never comfortable enough to open up to anybody ever. I graduated within that 5 years but I just did the program to get everyone off my back I didn’t take in any of the suggestions given or was not willing to take a deeper look into my life so I got my certificate and left. Only to come back 2 years later still broken but this time no substance brought me back. Within coming back I’ve had a few lapses but I was SO COMFORTABLE to come back into this place and admit to that and I’ve built such solid worthy relationships here. This place gave me my life back. Gave my children their mother back and my family has their daughter back. If it was not for this place I would be dead. I love tpals because they meet you where you are at and work with you to understand the true ins and outs of this disease. I never thought I would be free from the chains of hell with drugs and alcohol and this place helped me free myself. I graduated again but I still come here everyday this place is my home and my safe place. Even if there isn’t any staff I sit in the parking lot if I need to regroup mentally. Thank you to each and every one of the staff and counselors ! Yall are the real super heroes because super heroes don’t always need to wear capes.

The group therapy sessions are some of the best I’ve attended with strong participation from everyone. I highly recommend TPALS and their amazing team.
