choices was my first rehab clean good staff and program unfortunately didnt work for me the first time i then got pregnant went to another rehab and had to go on methadone i chose the choices clinic b.c im from hazleton and that was the nearest the drive sucks but after birth and 6 months i was able to receive take homes so only have to go 4 days instead of 7 the staff is awesome i love my counselor Ben and the meetings are also very nice ! methadone has helped me stay sober for a year now and i love it. the Dr is awesome & will work with your dose to get you stable if you have to pay out of pocket they are very good with working with you and also helping you find help i.e. medical assistance like im on thank god that now covers the cost for me ! i would deff recommend it to anyone obv you get drug tests no alcohol and very strict about not selling/ misusing methadone so dont ruin if you get accepted ! i also liked the rehab staff was nice and food was great ! rooms were also very nice

If you really want to make a positive change in your life this place will help you learn the tools to maintain a productive positive lifestyle,my counselor was very professional and showed passion concerning her job,of course you are going to have whiners who don't want to make a positive change in their life but it made a difference in mine.I do believe the staff are underpaid.

Facility is beautiful, private and well placed. But the important part of course is the care provided and our family found it excellent. There were abundant highly qualified and inspirational staff. This was complemented with a healthy amount of fun, helping to ease some of the natural stresses of the medical process itself.

Best rehab I’ve ever been too….all the techs there are great second and third shift and most of them are in recovery… there were many times I felt like I wasn’t going to make it when I left there and couldn’t sleep at night and tech Michaela on 3rd shift was always super helpful sharing her story with people…. I was able to relate to her so much because we have all been through similar things and I appreciate her talking to me all night and helping me whenever I needed it she really goes out of her way and isn’t there just for the money!! It really helped me stay sober shout out to Michaela!! Best tech on night shift

The staff and place are equally beautiful. The good hearted people always checked on my personal needs multiple times a day. The staff becomes your family. A staff member named Eric one night at 3am talked with me telling me his inspirational story and it helped me to feel better and keep going myself. The food is always good. Friday is all you can eat wings!!! This place helped me to love myself and recover who I am as a man not just from addiction. Living alone is something I will never do again because of going to Huntington creek isolation can’t exist. I have friends and family in the staff and community I was part of. Thank you

Where do I begin? Not only was this my first-ever rehabilitation experience, but it was also the most eye-opening experience I have ever had. I was uncertain about what to expect and, ultimately, I made the best decision possible. The staff, whom I refer to as specialists, made me feel immediately at home, and my counselor, Mike, went above and beyond in his duties. The facility offers numerous perks, including exceptional cuisine, impeccable grounds, and a spectacular overall atmosphere. I must note that the nurses are exceedingly polite and attentive to their patients' needs, although I did find it somewhat disappointing that doctor visits were limited to only once. Personally, I did not experience any significant issues during my stay, aside from one supervisor who, I discovered, was not particularly friendly to either patients or staff. One of the highlights of the facility is the presence of Monarch butterflies, which are hatched on-site. Deb, one of the specialists, consistently displayed a warm and welcoming smile that brightened everyone's day. Marworth offers a wide range of activities to keep patients engaged, as well as tailored treatment plans for individuals requiring additional support. I commend the facility on its outstanding work.

I went to Marworth for the first time after relapsing after about 5 years sober. When I went there I was a wildly unpleasant person to be around. I hated the world and myself. I was truly terrible to most of the staff. My behavior was argumentative, smug and mean at best. They still welcomed me back 3 more times. I was eventually given Amy as my primary counselor and, she not only took the time to try and understand why I was like that but, she also challenged me to be better. Over my time there I had the chance to get to know the staff very well. They're good people. Who genuinely want to help people get to the life they're meant to have. The specialists, rec team, cafeteria workers,house keeping,security(the list goes on and on)are wonderful. That's what makes Marworth great. It's not the amenities. It's not the rock climbing wall, gym, cafeteria, or anything else you can think of. It's the people that make this place what it is. Is it perfect? Absolutely not, but nothing is. When I went in there looking for all the things that bothered me, I got nothing out of it. When I allowed them to help me, I got everything out of it.

Anyone that gave dats anything less than 5 stats did not take their recovery seriously and blames dats for their mistakes.
I've been attending for three years and i can't put into words how they've helped me. Both of my counselors I've had sine may 2020 "Lauren and especially sherry connelly" have done so much for me and I wouldn't be 3 years sober without them.

I came to TPALS 5 years ago as a broken human being with nothing left inside and nothing left to give. I was very defiant in the beginning of the treatment process because of my experiences in the past and was never comfortable enough to open up to anybody ever. I graduated within that 5 years but I just did the program to get everyone off my back I didn’t take in any of the suggestions given or was not willing to take a deeper look into my life so I got my certificate and left. Only to come back 2 years later still broken but this time no substance brought me back. Within coming back I’ve had a few lapses but I was SO COMFORTABLE to come back into this place and admit to that and I’ve built such solid worthy relationships here. This place gave me my life back. Gave my children their mother back and my family has their daughter back. If it was not for this place I would be dead. I love tpals because they meet you where you are at and work with you to understand the true ins and outs of this disease. I never thought I would be free from the chains of hell with drugs and alcohol and this place helped me free myself. I graduated again but I still come here everyday this place is my home and my safe place. Even if there isn’t any staff I sit in the parking lot if I need to regroup mentally. Thank you to each and every one of the staff and counselors ! Yall are the real super heroes because super heroes don’t always need to wear capes.

I found that the environment Gould farm creates on a daily basis is always inclusive and welcoming to everyone, and that’s probably one of the biggest appeals there and it makes it really feel like a home. I’ve only ever had positive interactions with staff, guests, and families and it just warms my heart to witness a place that so many kind people can benefit from. Not to mention, the scenery around the farm is absolutely stunning, with healthy nature all around, it really adds to the healing environment that Gould farm creates.

I was terrified to get a call that my mentally illness son had been put out of this place for behavior. I am 3 hours away I trusted you and you threw my child OUT IN THE COLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This place is HORRIBLE they put my son out physically of the building 3 hours away from home with no cell phone in the middle of mental breakdown. I have NEVER HEARD of a mental health facility doing something like this. I have one person telling that he was there and they were not going to put him and then someone else actually at the place very undaring telling me they did put him out. My son takes medication for his illness it sounds so the outburst without him being medicated. This place was such a disappointment I entrusted my mentally ill son to these people and they through him out in the street where it the protocol where is kindness for someone you took in knowing he had these issues. For you to throw my son OUT on the corner 3 hours away from home, no car, no phone no nothing. This place needs to be out of business when it comes to caring for people. This is only my first stop I am running this all the way up the latter and getting lawyers involved. WHAT A DISGRACE I SUGGEST YOU DON'T EVEN SEND YOUR DOG HERE. I would not trust them with my worst enemy let alone a child of mental illness who was supposed to be cared for. Then when other places called to pick up your slack you refused to cooperate with them so they could coordinate a ride for him while he stood outside. Unkind, unhuman, unprofessional like behavior for people who are supposed to be caring for those who cannot card for themselves or is it simply because he is black!!!! I would NEVER have thought this would happen at a mental health facility

I transferred to this clinic from one down in Austin Texas. From the beginning everything went smoothly. Wendy was my point of contact from the start. She was incredibly helpful and made sure everything was situated and ready for me when I arrived for my first day of dosing. The nurses Tiffany and Chris are always helpful and accommodating. The counselors are wonderful and the people at the front desk always greet you with a smile. They truly do care about the clients and their well being. I'd recommend this place to anyone seeking MAT.

My experience at Water Gap Wellness was excellent from the moment it started. Everyone who works there is super accessible and works hard to make sure that you are comfortable and going to treatment. I golfed for the first time and loved it. I could choose to do daily hikes, including to the top of a mountain, which was invigorating. And I followed the program and trusted everyone around me, and I am so appreciative of all that I learned.

I am only Reviewing Andrea because She is A Sweatheart. The other workers just stare in the office like they never seen anyone with Anxiety before! She took the Time to Talk to Carmen and He was just to wait till Monday for an Appointment but Carmen wanted to get checked to make sure He wasn't dehydrated, check his Potassium and to get another pill over the Weekend till Mondays Appointment.
