Gary (staff) was extremely nice and helpful. I enjoyed my time there. It’s a great facility with gym cornhole basketball and more. Located between mountain so the air was fresh. Had a good experience with my counsellor Julie. The food is very good.

Best rehab I’ve ever been too….all the techs there are great second and third shift and most of them are in recovery… there were many times I felt like I wasn’t going to make it when I left there and couldn’t sleep at night and tech Michaela on 3rd shift was always super helpful sharing her story with people…. I was able to relate to her so much because we have all been through similar things and I appreciate her talking to me all night and helping me whenever I needed it she really goes out of her way and isn’t there just for the money!! It really helped me stay sober shout out to Michaela!! Best tech on night shift

The staff and place are equally beautiful. The good hearted people always checked on my personal needs multiple times a day. The staff becomes your family. A staff member named Eric one night at 3am talked with me telling me his inspirational story and it helped me to feel better and keep going myself. The food is always good. Friday is all you can eat wings!!! This place helped me to love myself and recover who I am as a man not just from addiction. Living alone is something I will never do again because of going to Huntington creek isolation can’t exist. I have friends and family in the staff and community I was part of. Thank you

Where do I begin? Not only was this my first-ever rehabilitation experience, but it was also the most eye-opening experience I have ever had. I was uncertain about what to expect and, ultimately, I made the best decision possible. The staff, whom I refer to as specialists, made me feel immediately at home, and my counselor, Mike, went above and beyond in his duties. The facility offers numerous perks, including exceptional cuisine, impeccable grounds, and a spectacular overall atmosphere. I must note that the nurses are exceedingly polite and attentive to their patients' needs, although I did find it somewhat disappointing that doctor visits were limited to only once. Personally, I did not experience any significant issues during my stay, aside from one supervisor who, I discovered, was not particularly friendly to either patients or staff. One of the highlights of the facility is the presence of Monarch butterflies, which are hatched on-site. Deb, one of the specialists, consistently displayed a warm and welcoming smile that brightened everyone's day. Marworth offers a wide range of activities to keep patients engaged, as well as tailored treatment plans for individuals requiring additional support. I commend the facility on its outstanding work.

I went to Marworth for the first time after relapsing after about 5 years sober. When I went there I was a wildly unpleasant person to be around. I hated the world and myself. I was truly terrible to most of the staff. My behavior was argumentative, smug and mean at best. They still welcomed me back 3 more times. I was eventually given Amy as my primary counselor and, she not only took the time to try and understand why I was like that but, she also challenged me to be better. Over my time there I had the chance to get to know the staff very well. They're good people. Who genuinely want to help people get to the life they're meant to have. The specialists, rec team, cafeteria workers,house keeping,security(the list goes on and on)are wonderful. That's what makes Marworth great. It's not the amenities. It's not the rock climbing wall, gym, cafeteria, or anything else you can think of. It's the people that make this place what it is. Is it perfect? Absolutely not, but nothing is. When I went in there looking for all the things that bothered me, I got nothing out of it. When I allowed them to help me, I got everything out of it.

I came to Silver Pines in a very bad mental state. I never thought I would ever see myself in a situation like this, but I am so thankful I went to Silver Pines. Being around others who were struggling and forming bonds and getting to know the staff was incredibly helpful. I was quite isolated in a lot of ways before I went and I feel like I can pick myself up now and take more control over my life. The groups, especially process groups, were very helpful and cathartic. Staff was also very understanding and encouraging. I want to thank Alisha, Doug, Deidre, Cat, Eddy, and many others (that I can't remember at this very moment, you were all fantastic though!) for all the support. The behavioral health techs were also fantastic. Of the BHT's, Tim really helped me to open up and he helped me immensely when I was getting familiar with the place and nervous in my first few days. When dealing with people who are struggling, that type of compassion is important and he really made the difference for me. Thank you again.

One Year Later: A Heartfelt Thank You It’s hard to believe it’s been one year since I was admitted to Water Gap Wellness. Looking back, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for how far I’ve come. Today, I’m thriving in my profession, deeply connected to my family and friends, and—most importantly—healthy in every sense of the word. From humble beginnings, I now wake up to a life filled with possibilities, choices, and hope. That transformation didn’t happen overnight—and it didn’t happen alone. The support, compassion, and guidance I received during my time in treatment will stay with me forever. Water Gap wasn’t just a stop along the way—it was a turning point. A place where I learned how to heal, how to grow, and how to believe in myself again. Water Gap provided me with amazing treatment! A real home away from home. The facilities are modern, clean and well kept. The grounds are absolutely stunning, a tremendous asset while going through the healing process. No matter the season wster gap is truly beautiful. I am so grateful to g-d for sending me here. Only he could have orchestrated for me exactly what I needed. The classes are inspirational, engaging and very informative. I learned so much and my entire life has changed for the better. Through my amazing Therapist Tina, I really got to understand myself so much better and to feel good about what I have to offer plus your amazing compassion and commitment to your job! From the creative art therapy class with Katie, practical mindfulness with Al, book reading with shannon imagine finishing a book in a week! Ashley's calmness and kindness. CBT and creating powerful mantras with Jessica. Chris st coffee talk ,art and techniques with Sheldon as well as amazingly creative themes. Taylor your classes are so creative Carrisa is so inspirational with the 4 agreements. William the anger management classes you teach are unreal!
