As someone in a grey area, i had more clear thoughts than people i was in with. Many things I heard from people who still needed to allow their brain to heal is "they just want our money" yet they are one of the few places that actually help people who can't afford the treatment. And their staff is empathetic and know what you are going through. Trust them they are good people and their system works.I was reluctant at first over the 12 steps. I'm not an addict, i have substance abuse occasionally throughout my life but I'm not disordered that way. But my mental health has been unmanageable so I sought treatment. But im in a gray area stuck in PA due to insurance.Theres not many places for that kind of treatment. Still they again went above and beyond to help.I had to stay more days than I wanted for the result i needed. I had to let them do their jobs, and I did even though I thought I knew the result, which was I'm my opinion 'hopeless'But the last day I gave them, they found somewhere. And ironically even though I found a place specifically for mental health, I still have to take those 12 steps for the housing. Not for the program if signed up for. For the housing since the program has third party housing where its required.Thats when I realized what they kept saying was true. 'we wish people who weren't addicts took those steps' Everyone can benefit from them, even if that higher powers a door knob. Its is blessed by God to help the sick and suffering. Theyre beautiful steps. Which i realized in there, but i didn't think theyd applied to me.I had thought I already took them. I know my resentments and I know where I'm at fault. I have a higher power and I know I'm powerless, but in all reality I never took those first 3 steps properly. And my resentments and faults go deeper than the cycle of anxiety allows me to see.I needed that introduction to it to see that. Immediately coming back to triggers I realized so much due to the information i was given within those walls. Again these are blessed people. You might wanna run when you get in, you might not understand the process, but trust me, and trust the process.You will be baffled by the results if you just do what they say and take those 12 steps. There you should master the first 3, and you'll be introduced to the rest to properly pick out a good sponsor when you get to the next place. You need someone who will throughly go over the rest with you and they train you to seek that if you listen.Do it so you can be baffled by the results and live a good life.

I just finished a 28 day stay here. This was the first place I finished out of 12 rehabs. It was a good experience from the ride in to the ride out. They set me up with a really nice PHP, and the doctor worked hard at getting me the sublocaid shot when my insurance was denying it. The facility is nice, comfortable beds, personal tv in each room. The staff is great! Always there to talk to when you need someone. Med lines go quick. The food is really good and they feed you enough for 3 people. Shout out to Steve, the cook. His food is really good. I had Elizabeth as a counselor and she was super sweet and actually took the time EVERY TIME she met with me. She never rushed me. Uncle Ron is also really kind and caring. The rest of the staff is very kind and caring as well. All the techs were really nice and caring, but There were a few techs who really went above and beyond for the clients- Katrina, Danielle, Morgan. Little Creek Lodge was my first and only rehabilitation facility, leaving me ill-prepared to compare it to any other practice. To preface, I am a young man in my twenties, I have a white collar career, and I'm gay. The idea of coming to an all male facility, trapped with other men for 30-days was a daunting prospect. At the end of my treatment, I've never felt so loved, supported, and valued. The staff have all been through recovery and their testimonials allowed me to trust them. I went to Marworth for the first time after relapsing after about 5 years sober. When I went there I was a wildly unpleasant person to be around. I hated the world and myself. I was truly terrible to most of the staff. My behavior was argumentative, smug and mean at best. They still welcomed me back 3 more times. I was eventually given Amy as my primary counselor and, she not only took the time to try and understand why I was like that but, she also challenged me to be better. Over my time there I had the chance to get to know the staff very well. They're good people. Who genuinely want to help people get to the life they're meant to have. The specialists, rec team, cafeteria workers,house keeping,security(the list goes on and on)are wonderful. That's what makes Marworth great. It's not the amenities. It's not the rock climbing wall, gym, cafeteria, or anything else you can think of. It's the people that make this place what it is. Is it perfect? Absolutely not, but nothing is. When I went in there looking for all the things that bothered me, I got nothing out of it. When I allowed them to help me, I got everything out of it.

I came to TPALS 5 years ago as a broken human being with nothing left inside and nothing left to give. I was very defiant in the beginning of the treatment process because of my experiences in the past and was never comfortable enough to open up to anybody ever. I graduated within that 5 years but I just did the program to get everyone off my back I didn t take in any of the suggestions given or was not willing to take a deeper look into my life so I got my certificate and left. Only to come back 2 years later still broken but this time no substance brought me back. Within coming back I ve had a few lapses but I was SO COMFORTABLE to come back into this place and admit to that and I ve built such solid worthy relationships here. This place gave me my life back. Gave my children their mother back and my family has their daughter back. If it was not for this place I would be dead. I love tpals because they meet you where you are at and work with you to understand the true ins and outs of this disease. I never thought I would be free from the chains of hell with drugs and alcohol and this place helped me free myself. I graduated again but I still come here everyday this place is my home and my safe place. Even if there isn t any staff I sit in the parking lot if I need to regroup mentally. Thank you to each and every one of the staff and counselors ! Yall are the real super heroes because super heroes don t always need to wear capes.

I ve been going to TPALS for years and they have been like a family to me. They have seen my best and worst treating me with respect and kindness through it all. My individual therapy with Katie is productive and thought-provoking. She is truly a wonderful accent to TPALS. The group therapy sessions are some of the best I ve attended with strong participation from everyone. I highly recommend TPALS and their amazing team.

My nurses were amazing escp Susie (cant remember my one great day nurses name, she was great too) and was so happy I had my actual gyno Dr. Rabin to deliver my baby. It was an overall great experience as people checked my son and me to make sure everything was well. The food was decent for a hospital having gluten free.

I transferred to this clinic from one down in Austin Texas. From the beginning everything went smoothly. Wendy was my point of contact from the start. She was incredibly helpful and made sure everything was situated and ready for me when I arrived for my first day of dosing. The nurses Tiffany and Chris are always helpful and accommodating. The counselors are wonderful and the people at the front desk always greet you with a smile. They truly do care about the clients and their well being. I'd recommend this place to anyone seeking MAT.

There's is no way this place is not 5 star. I am 50 and have lived around the country and never ever received 5 star care from therapy to the case management to the out patient psych clinic. I can tell u first hand from the fiscal department all the way to the top director this place cares about one thing it's clients they do not put money or time over people. This is the only place I've gotten any results since I was 5. If your having a bad comment then u just don't know this place or didn't do your part. It's a two way street they can only offer and give u suggestions and support and stand with u through rough times and I'm alive today because childrens service center didn't give up in me. I am building healthy relationships with my children, my self esteem went from lower then dirt in the carpet to sky high. My drug dependency is at a zero I am sober . My health is at all all time high. I have never had so many people working for myself and at least o0 others I know the way this place does. If u haven't done your part or don't like something u dint have to run and leave a bad comment or stop going they are open and willing to guide u help u stand by u so please it hurts to see this isn't 5 star and I'm putting on the people leaving the reviews I've been going here a long time and do various different programs they have and my life just keeps getting better. Thank u to everyone from every secretary to the rehab to case management for all of your hard work and dedication to all of your clients equally .

Some ways of communication are outdated like not being able to leave direct voicemails with people, only leaving with office afaik. But they were great help in applying for Medicaid and counseling services. Getting appointment is difficult due to the demand for the current counselors , which is very unfortunate but understandable. Feels like a safe place to be in. I wish that we could communicate with counselors over other means than email

WVADS Has been an excellent experience for my recovery. The councilors go over and above to get whatever it is you may need to support your recovery. The group meetings are very therapeutic and gives the opportunity to work out whatever issues you are going through, with other clients that have/are dealing with similar issues. i thought this place was excellent. i loved the groups and my counselor. it seemed like they really cared. i had shown up 25 minutes late for the 3 hour group and they wouldn t let me in. i live 45 minutes away and had counseling 2.5 hours later. woman at the desk said it wasn t her problem. i was having a really rough day and needed to be there. mind you, i chose to go there. i wasn t mandated or anything. they do an outstanding job pushing people away on their lowest days.

I've been in the hospital now here for over 2 weeks the nurses doctors and staff are incredible. They took very good care of me even though I was so sick and hard to deal with. I recommend if you have to go spend time at a hospital this is the one you want to go to show me hospital I ever used or went to in the last 25 years.
