The therapist that I have now is wonderful. Maureen is very personable and seems like she truly cares about you. There have been times where I have had to stop treatment due to lack of insurance and each time I have came back she has remembered me. That makes me feel confident in telling her everything.The doctor I have this time is much better. The man who used to be there was very rude and I felt that he did not care. Dr. Belkin takes her time to discuss everything with you and makes sure to answer any questions.I miss Nicole, who used to work at the front desk. She always greeted me with a smile and did her best to work with my schedule. The new lady is very rude, she ignores you when you walk in and does not try to accommodate any changes. My hours change frequently and she just keeps pushing my dates back further and further. I asked her if I was able to make 2 apts and call to tell her which I could make she was very rude and just told me no. That makes me feel unimportant.

Phenomenal organization that truly cares about its patients recovery and were so helpful in my daughter's treatment, she is better off now from where she was when she first went in. It was not a perfect experience - there were several miscommunications that detracted from the recovery but their management owned all mistakes and missteps - Bill and Jen were especially forthcoming in this, something I appreciated. Most of the other staff were exemplary in their roles in supporting patients in their journey - want to especially recognize Amber as someone who exemplified the lodge's ideals of compassion and professionalism, she made a difference in my daughter's life.

Its been 3 weeks since I completed the 28 day program on (August 5, 2025) at Alina Lodge . From the moment I arrived (July 8, 2025)I felt comfortable and safe. THIS PLACE NOT ONLY SAVED MY LIFE IT ALSO BROUGHT LIFE BACK TO ME MENTALLY EMOTIONALLY AND PHYSICALLY! The program they have is great and I learned more and more about addiction but even more so about myself. The staff there are great , kind, loving amd compassionate. They are there to help and as long as you ask for that help you will get it . The environment was amazing given the space and time to recover and reflect on each group session. My favorite spot to sit and reflect was in the gazebo close the the river . The food was great each meal was also good and filling. Now at 48 days clean today 8/25/2025 i feel so great my life has improved dramatically! Thanks to the wrok i put it and the structure of Alina Lodge!!! I love you guys and thank you for helping me regain traction in my life I will be forever grateful!

New Pathway has been the best experience in my recovery. The way the program is run is different than any other iop. The counselors train you physically, mentally, and emotionally. I cannot say enough positive things about Brookdale. I ended up there during a very dark time in my life. They picked me up and cared for me. The facility itself is like being at a high end resort. The staff are kind and understanding. They have rules in place for the well being of the clients. I totally enjoyed being without the distraction of my phone and TV. It gave me the chance to work on myself in the peaceful Pocono environment. The staff at Brookdale stay in touch with me to make sure I am doing good and encourage me. I will look at Brookdale as family for the rest of my life.

Brookdale helped to set me up with a great starting foundation in my recovery journey. All members of the staff made themselves available with any questions or concerns I had. The food and living amenities were wonderful. The classes and lectures were informative and geared to many different approaches to sobriety. One of the best parts is the active alumni community that awaits once you leave. You never have to feel as though you are going through this process alone.

This program was tough and just what I needed to do what I had to do to get right and learn how to be a woman of substance. I initially did not want to go because of the 6 months. Honestly probably could have used more than six months. I surrendered allowed the help to help me and did what they suggested, even when I didn’t want to. They will keep you there up until six months, no more, no less. I never felt at ease, so I was trying to recover my addiction issues through lying so I culd get out the fastest way possible. They have a high turnover rate and that's because they get paid every time a new one comes in

I'm currently in mental health groups also ,therapy sessions there at the Denville ,Nj location ;and I can say that the staff in the wellness office are very professional and polite and helpful in any information or concerns I ask or have. The therapist there is awesome and understanding, but he recently left to a other job besides that I forgot to mention it's a no judgment zone at groups.I will continue to update this in future post to see if feel the same.
Update things are still going well ,but the downside about the place is sometimes the communication about transportation( pick ups ) are especially unpredictable may forget to pick you up sometimes because of lack of drivers or communication/weather ;and sometimes group's time are changing every month and people leave for vacation or which jobs. My old therapist move to a different job so they replaced me with someone else. I'm still attending my mental health groups and I see a psychiatrist for my medication. I will update you guys soon take care always.

I came to TPALS 5 years ago as a broken human being with nothing left inside and nothing left to give. I was very defiant in the beginning of the treatment process because of my experiences in the past and was never comfortable enough to open up to anybody ever. I graduated within that 5 years but I just did the program to get everyone off my back I didn’t take in any of the suggestions given or was not willing to take a deeper look into my life so I got my certificate and left. Only to come back 2 years later still broken but this time no substance brought me back. Within coming back I’ve had a few lapses but I was SO COMFORTABLE to come back into this place and admit to that and I’ve built such solid worthy relationships here. This place gave me my life back. Gave my children their mother back and my family has their daughter back. If it was not for this place I would be dead. I love tpals because they meet you where you are at and work with you to understand the true ins and outs of this disease. I never thought I would be free from the chains of hell with drugs and alcohol and this place helped me free myself. I graduated again but I still come here everyday this place is my home and my safe place. Even if there isn’t any staff I sit in the parking lot if I need to regroup mentally. Thank you to each and every one of the staff and counselors ! Yall are the real super heroes because super heroes don’t always need to wear capes.

I recently had surgery and stayed on 3 South Annex at Clara Maass Medical Center, and I have to say my experience was outstanding. From the moment I arrived, I felt truly cared for. On December 1, 2025, I was looked after by 2 exceptional nurses whose names I unfortunately don’t remember, but their kindness and professionalism left a lasting impression on me.
These nurses went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, informed, and supported throughout my recovery. They were patient, attentive, and consistently checked on my pain management and overall well-being. Their compassion made a difficult day so much easier, and I honestly felt like I was in the best hands possible.
The entire 3 South Annex team made my stay smooth and reassuring. Clara Maass Hospital should be proud to have such phenomenal staff who truly embody what quality patient care should look like.
I’m genuinely grateful for the level of care I received and would absolutely recommend Clara Maass to anyone needing medical treatment.
