This recovery center is well structured and has helped me find my way in life. I came in without knowing what I wanted to do for work and having zero work experience besides some part-time jobs. The program is well-organized, focusing on skills to help the patient in a calm and considerate environment. The staff are very respectful and responsible with there jobs, especially the clinical director Laura who helped me through everything. Therapists make treatment plans for you that are specifically tailored to YOU and your situation. I have been in and out of many rehabs and recovery centers over the past three years, but this place helped me the most. Ultimately, I would recommend this place to anyone seeking recovery and help, however do NOT live in their sober living houses!

My family worked with Travis to help support one of my children with addiction by coaching, educating and being a sounding board for the entire family. He is exceptional at what he does and has been tremendously helpful through this difficult period of time.

My grandfather is there at the long term care home facility nothing but great care and service there for him there so far he’s been there since September

I have been receiving medical treatment at Lyons and East Orange for over 12 years.. and have interacted with many medical professionals and staff.. in any large hospital setting, you will encounter dedicated people and sometimes, some that are just not smart enough to gargle. I recently had shoulder surgery and I rate it 5 stars 110%. Drs, nurses, staff were outstanding and the scheduling was perfect. God Bless all those who take care of us veterans at both hospitals.

Mountainside Ramsey has proven to be a fantastic step down treatment options for clients leaving our care. The outreach and admissions department are so easily to work with each and every time. Clients have also spoken so highly of the quality of the groups, keeping them engaged the entire treatment process.

Mountainside Treatment Center is a great place for recovery I highly recommend it wonderful staff and the place is very clean and neat. I love Amy she is on the counselors there she is super sweet and she can teach and help you grow as a new person in recovery she has helped me so much. I highly recommend her as a counselor!

All of the staff at this program go above and beyond for their clients, and truly care. Amy is amazing also!

I had an overall very good experience. I would have preferred if there was more 1 on 1 therapy but this place helped me get back on my feet which I am grateful for.

Everyone cares, no one judges. You will be the most important person in every room, and in every conversation. If you want to grow, you will. They took this prideful man and showed how powerful humility can be.

Cliffside park location is a great place to go if you want stay sober. Smaller groups is key in order to feel comfortable, be able to speak, and get the help you actually need. Tommy the tech manager is by far the most caring person I ever met, and we need more people like him at these treatment places.

She answers my calls and questions and has truly guided me through my journey. Choicepoint has been a really wonderful option for me after waiting to seek treatment for a long time. Since being in the program for 2 1/2 months, I can already see a lot of changes in myself that I didn't anticipate happening so quickly. The team is very knowledgeable and good at explaining medical terminology around addiction into easily understandable language that was easy for me to digest. The group sessions were particularly helpful as they provided an opportunity to share time with others who are going through the same experience, which is not something I have in my "real" life. I had Darien and Sam for group, and both are very kind and good at creating a safe and friendly atmosphere where people that start as strangers feel comfortable sharing private things about themselves. Darien took time out of his day to help advise me once on natural remedies for anxiety, and Sam has a great candor and humor which makes group a pleasant experience - something I never would have expected going into the program. Joanna, the nurse at Choicepoint, is very kind and takes time to explain to you different options for MAT without pushing you in one direction - she explains everything so well that you feel very confident in whichever option you choose. Gina, who I had as a counselor, also helped me process how I make decisions and the behavior behind my actions, which has helped me to understand myself better. It's been a great thing for me and I really recommend it to anyone.

If it wasn’t for Jesus Christ I would not be sober today. He receives all the credit for my rest, peace, restoration, rehabilitation, recovery and sobriety. I credit MM with convincing me to enter recovery. When I second guessed attending MM, from director down to intake coordinators they shared the benefits and advantages of the programs. I especially thank Irma for her encouraging personality and experience in the real world. The intake staff played a big role in getting me out of Michigan; where I felt unsafe and incapable of defeating the disease of alcohol and addiction. They called me 2-4 times a day, 7 days a week, for 1 month. They didn’t know me, but it felt as if they did. I finally had a friend or somewhat like a loved one that actually care about me living. Two therapist stood out to me; Meagan and Jesse! They were amazing. They obviously put not only their minds to their clinical groups, but they pour their energy and hearts into their therapy. I truly wish that one of them was my personal therapist while I was in the program. Jesse mastered bring clients/patients together. Meagan was unbelievable, her therapy and meditation tactics enhanced my relationship with Christ. It allowed me to focus in on my praying, conversational skills, praise and listening skills with Christ personally. In 2022, my father died and under the influence of my disease, I decided to not complete my MA in CMHC although I was only four classes away. Meagan’s expertise and compassion has changed my mind. I’m going to finish my Masters!!!! She was amazing! I also enjoyed specific staff members whom compassion and care was beyond genuine. Those staff members were two different Dans, Olivia, Victoria, Bill, Nick and Maryam. The highlight of my experience at MM were MY PEOPLE! Those who were just like me. Race didn’t matter, gender was no factor, and we all were blinded to anyone’s lifestyle preferences. We loved each other, taught each other, hugged each other, shared together, and encouraged one another. We all shared the same desire to be free. Not just free of addiction, but free in life alone. I encouraged everyone in my path to hate! Yes, I said it, “Hate”! I encouraged to hate drugs and alcohol. And I also loudly and proudly shared the name of my Higher Power. I will once again, if your searching for a Higher Power, I like to recommend mine. His name is Jesus! He has freed me in life. If you are ready for a new journey of sobriety, I strongly recommend MM of Randolph, NJ. This facility may require you to detox first, and two hours away I had an even greater experience at Enlightened Recovery located in Atlantic City, NJ.

Putting my review in a nutshell,"my mother always told me to "fake it until you make it" and by becoming a rehabilitated human being at,Carnegie Hill Institute,again,I no longer have to fake it. And if there were anyone else I'd thank,besides the Lord,for seeking life' purpose,I thank the generosity of spirit and the way they come from love first and of in their successes at making sure I can regain the trust of others because they trust in me. And without gaining the trust of others,it takes away your will to live.

I've been a client at Carnegie Hill Institute for quite a number of years. I had been in treatment for years, and I can sincerely state that the treatment plans offered by the staff are the most effective that I have encountered so far.
