I was really surprised on how nice and professional all the staff are. This is a great VA hospital with staff that staff that really cares.

The VA gets a bad rap but the people make it good. The system is tough to work with but like I said all the workers, from janitors to Doctors and nurses make it bearable.

I went to RCA three years ago, and I can honestly say they saved my life. When I arrived, I was completely consumed by my addictions and had no idea how to climb out. This place gave me the tools, structure, and support I needed to rebuild myself from the inside out. The staff truly cares. They don’t just treat you, they teach you. I learned coping skills, accountability, and how to face life without numbing everything. They helped me understand my patterns, break them, and replace them with healthier habits. Even now, years later, I still use what I learned there. I walked in broken and walked out with hope, clarity, and a future. If you’re struggling and you’re ready for real change, this is the place that can give you your life back. I’m forever grateful.

Staff picks and chooses by who they like more--they will choose someone in active addiction over someone who is clean and trying

Whoever answered the phone (female) Monday morning June 12th was extremely rude. Would not be leaving this review if I didn’t feel horrible after that phone call. I was calling about a client and didn’t know who I needed to speak to about the matter, she had me on speaker phone as I was trying to talk about something private, hung up and transferred me to someone else while I was in the middle of a sentence. As someone who loves a person that’s an addict, that’s hard enough to deal with. Did not need someone talking to me with such a bad attitude when I’m calling to try and help a person who is struggling with sobriety. I get that it’s Monday morning but have alittle decency and be kind. Especially in this line of work. Unreal

The doctors and help is outstanding. Since President Trump redid the VA system it is now top tier.

Very amazing experience! from the first day to the last, the therapists and the techs are amazing and I’ll always love and look at them as family now ! There will always be a soft spot in my heart for avenues and I’ll definitely continue to go to alumni events and keep in touch with my new found family love you guys ! This program may be helpful for some people, but it was not trauma-informed. They operated without empathy, accountability and respect for boundaries. I experienced repeated breaches of trust around privacy and felt unsafe in group and staff interactions. If you are sensitive to coercion, hypervigilance, or dissociation, I strongly recommend asking very detailed questions about confidentiality, staff roles, and how personal information is shared before enrolling. I am 6 months sober now but that’s 100% because I’ve been doing daily meditation. Most people don’t need rehab! Meditation is a better tool and way cheaper and healthy too. I started daily meditating on my own on my first full day at lake Ariel and it’s the only thing that got me through the nearly nonstop trauma experienced at this place. In 6 months I haven’t had a single craving for substances. I don’t go to meetings or anything like that. But they don’t want you to know this at rehabs with their capitalistic models! I suggest trying daily meditation before committing to a 30 day program. It only took 15 minutes of meditation per day for me to erase all cravings. Now I do 2 hours because the more, the better, and the stronger your sobriety will be. If you’re having withdrawals I suggest to go to a strictly detox program, and not a rehab that’s going to coerce you to stay for a month or more. Save your time and possibly money (if you don’t have the right insurance)!

New Pathway has been the best experience in my recovery. The way the program is run is different than any other iop. The counselors train you physically, mentally, and emotionally. With the soarfit workout, the yoga/meditation and groups, I always feel great when I leave. And when you graduate, alumni can come back and continue with the workouts! It's a wonderful group to belong to.

Moving Mountains exceeded every expectation I had for a treatment center. The team was amazing. They were compassionate, patient, and deeply committed to helping every person succeed. The therapists are incredibly knowledgeable and caring. Special shout out to Eric, Miles, and my therapist Curtis. The groups are amazing, they were meaningful, and the environment felt safe and positive. The structure of the program helps rebuild daily habits and reconnect with yourself on a new level. I can't thank everyone at there enough for helping me find start to find myself again.

We had to send my friend to treatment and they helped us with the intervention and they were so incredible to work with from start to finish. It’s been 6 months and my friend is doing SO WELL and she’s so happy she went here

This place is a great place if you know anybody that suffering from drug addiction. They are very professional, caring and friendly with their patients. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you are struggling with addiction and get the help that you need.

Putting my review in a nutshell,"my mother always told me to "fake it until you make it" and by becoming a rehabilitated human being at,Carnegie Hill Institute,again,I no longer have to fake it. And if there were anyone else I'd thank,besides the Lord,for seeking life' purpose,I thank the generosity of spirit and the way they come from love first and of in their successes at making sure I can regain the trust of others because they trust in me. And without gaining the trust of others,it takes away your will to live.

I've been a client at Carnegie Hill Institute for quite a number of years. I had been in treatment for years, and I can sincerely state that the treatment plans offered by the staff are the most effective that I have encountered so far.

I would like to thank all the wonderful people I met at Soba.. from the nurses "Julie" and all the techs staff. They are an amazing group of people.. this place really knows how to do it. It's so clean and the food is something that I can't explain how good it was. I mean we had lamb chops for lunch full salad bar with a gourmet chef. I banged head alittle with clinical staff only to realize they were trying to help me. To which I am truly sorry about. I spent 4 weeks there and even the other patience became like family was truly a wonderful group that made all the difference. I'm not going to say it was all fun but through bouts of depression and PTSD! Things can really get dark... And I really want to thank Mike C for helping through my darkest period.. He sat with me and talked to me about what I need to do and how to get through what I was dealing with and I never had someone to help me like that before. I was all alone. "Thanks Mike "I can't really get into it here but he gave me advice that I will carry always. I'm so glad that I went to soba. It was exactly what I needed to get my life back in order and I can't thank them enough. If you or a loved one need help with this Disease. I promise you that you will not regret trusting this professional group of people.its a small group of people I think I had 7 other patients besides myself. So the level of care is perfect.im clean and im staying clean and my goal is to help people. Even its just one person thats all it will take to satisfy me. One of the best decisions I've made in my life was enrolling in SOBA'S Drug & Alchohol treatment facility located at 104 Bayard street in New Brunswick, NJ. I was only doing detox for 7 days but after experiencing the kind of care provided I decided to move up to residencial for 19 more days. The staff, from technicians, clinicians, nurses, doctors, maintenance and kitchen, are all experienced professionals that took their time with each client to make us all feel welcomed, comfortable and safe. They all thrive in a very stressful environment and always go the extra mile to meet all our needs. From group interactions to one on one therapy to administrative work, all areas are covered so as clients, we don't have to worry about the outside world. They give us the tools to beat addiction and become a better version of ourselves. They create an environment of camaraderie were all are rowing in the same direction. Mike, the director of the facility, makes you feel like an old friend and he's always available to make sure one gets the best treatment possible. Residential clients have daily access to a state of the art gym facility with pools, saunas and steam rooms. The food provided is outstanding and there's more than enough snacks available at all times. We have daily meeting from members of different fellowships like NA, AA and Smart Recovery. It was really hard to say goodbye as I move on to the next phase of my journey in sobriety. I'll never forget this experience and was the right place to take my first steps towards achieving sober living for the rest of my life. Can't thank all of them enough.

Great place. Spent several months at Soba, first at Duke Street, then here for sober living. All the clinical staff and the techs were outstanding. Best of all is the environment at Soba, which was always positive and encouraging. Soba was a great resource for me in a difficult time. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking treatment in New Jersey.

Sunrise cherry hill was a godsend. The nurse Sydney is absolutely the sweetest person you'll ever meet. I went there over a year ago and and she remembered me and made sure my stay there was comfortable. Unfortunately I've stayed at quite a few other facilities and NEVER was treated with such respect and kindness that she treated me with. She deserves a raise lol! On the other hand..I made a very good friend in my time staying there..we kept in touch and we were both struggling. I was trying to be a good girlfriend and put my own health aside waiting waiting for him. I now know know that I need further assistance than just detox . He's not even. Being a decent human being/and/or being nice about it. I tried called the Sterling location 5 times where my friend is. She told me there is in IN FACT beds available but the person on the phone wasnt so friendly..almost demeaning. He said "just because there's beds available doesn't mean there's beds available". I was very confused...almost like he didn't want to help me save my life. And he was just annoyed to be answering the phone. He told me over and over in an annoyed and stern voice as I was in tears to call back at 9am. Im just lucky im not someone who is WAY more fragile and sensitive amd nothing terrible happened 🥺

Supportive and non judgement staff at Brentwood location. Very clean and group sessions were great. They truly make you feel like a human being a person. I would absolutely recommend this place.

Absolutely the best facility and most caring people I’ve ever come across. Shout out to everyone at the nurses station for holding it down for me when I was at my lowest. I am not a fan of any facility whatsoever but these guys genuinely do it right. Can’t thank y’all enough. Best nursing staff ever

Great place and staff, who cares.

I had to stay in the facility for physical therapy due to a broken leg. I was transported to the Chateau a few days after my surgery, and my daughter had to transport me. We arrived around 11pm on a cold and rainy night. The staff told my daughter that they didn’t have a wheelchair to bring me inside from the curb. (They then came to the car and took photos of me. ) Thank goodness my daughter had a wheelchair in her car. Once I had a room, things got worse. When I was sleeping a nurse came in and lifted my broken leg and then let it fall. I was often told that I ran out of my medication. I had to often remind them that they ran out of my meds. I would then tell them I was going to call 911 and go to the hospital because I was in pain. Suddenly my meds would appear. They never came when I called, they blocked the bathroom door so I couldn’t use it, and the final thing they did was change my wheelchair and give me a broken one without brakes. The footrest even fell apart with my leg in it. I documented, videotaped, recorded, and photographed everything. When I told my insurance company about my experience they filed a claim. The Chateau was not paid by my insurance company. That says a lot about that place. Also, all the staff members always had their name tags and their title, on backwards so they couldn’t be identified by name.

I've been to other Facilities in Brooklyn however there's No other Facility better than the Chateau great staff great social service team ,Great Physical therapy department and also the food was great thanks to Gasper and Jason who gived me inspiration and always check in on me daily I would Recomend this Great place

My Mom was brought there with an aneurysm at the end of October, and even though she didn't make it, I would like to say thank you to every person there. From Doctor to Nurse to orderly or any other employee walking in the hallway that was polite, helpful, informative, you really helped our transition be a little less painful. I forget her name, but the therapist/counselor that talked to us as we were waiting for the worst was truly good at her job. She helped us see things in perspective and calm out nerves. I am so glad that the ambulance driver decided to bring my Mom to Morristown.

My daughter had a wonderful experience at the Breast Center! The nurse Renee T. was very compassionate and held my daughter's hand with reassurance and care. Renee, RN was very exceptional with her reassuring demeanor. From the mammogram tech Jamile to Dr. Menendez I felt I was in good hands. Alison the admin clerk was very pleasant. I would highly recommend this breast center to anyone who requires further testing.

I had such a wonderful experience during my labor and delivery stay at Morristown Medical. From the moment I arrived at the admission desk to the incredible care I received from every nurse, pediatric doctor, OBGYN, tech, nursery staff member, and even housekeeping—everyone was exceptionally kind, accommodating, and supportive across both day and night shifts. We delivered our baby on a very busy night, yet our entire stay was absolutely perfect. Thank you to the entire team for your outstanding care and compassion—you are truly amazing, and we’re so grateful for everything you did for us.

I was scared after reading reviews on my way to er but I had a nice doctor who made me feel not scared,. and care a lot about me and my mental health even though we just met. maybe they hired new psychiatry? if you go to er ask for doctor gueruro I am probably misspell her name (she is tall, pretty, dark hair.) social worker was nice too and got me a appointment. thank you.

My father was recently admitted through the emergency room and underwent an emergency surgery. When he woke up, we discovered that a large sum of money—approximately $1,500—that he had on him at the time of admission went missing. I immediately filed a report with hospital staff, and since then I’ve submitted multiple follow-ups. Unfortunately, I have not received any updates or communication from anyone regarding the investigation. It has now been about a week, and we still have no answers or guidance on what is being done to resolve this issue. Given the stress of a medical emergency, the added concern of missing personal belongings has been extremely upsetting for my family. I am disappointed in the lack of follow-through and transparency from the hospital regarding such a serious matter. I hope this review prompts someone to address the situation and improve their communication and handling of patient property moving forward.

During my treatment here, I got attacked in the shower with a metal pole, got restrictive consequences as a result of defending my life while nude, and felt humiliated at the incident. The final straw leading me to sign myself out was when a middle aged staff member started dating a 15 year old SA victim. This facility needs to get shut down.

Amazing place really made a difference in my life.I’ve been here since February recently turned 20 in August and it’s just a great place all around they actually care about you and want you to truly do good ,it’s a blessing to have other people who are there for u mentally and care for you and your recovery process!

By far the best place around. If your serious about your recovery, this is the place. It’s not just all about the medication, it’s about the staff as well. My counselor, Sharece T saved my life. She goes above and beyond the call of duty and treats people as an individual, not a group, because we’re all different. She really took the time to get to know me and get to the root of the problem and checks up regularly to see if everything’s going well. I’ve been to many places, doctors, meetings and rehabs. No one has ever understood me better, witch is very important in recovery so you can be treated accordingly. I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I’m extremely grateful and blessed for my counselor Sharece. A huge thanks to this organization and most importantly, my counselor.

I don't understand the negative reviews for this place. We found getting registered and placed with someone easy and accommodating. Kelly is AMAZING! I have not had positive experiences in the past with therapists, but she is the absolute best. She's "real," she listens, she is amazing at planning a session but also pivoting if necessary. I can't say enough good things about her!
