I was in this place as a kid I was 10 and 1/2 to 11 and it was okay they took us to the movies we played basketball watch TV in the morning they gave us three meals a day there was some arguing and fighting going on also and I was also picked out when I first got there but that happens to everybody it's like a hazing thing in the day you go home they mess with you also when you're going home they mess with you I got hit with a dresser drawer in my sleep right in my head I woke up and nobody would admit to it so I ran and everybody's room and started fighting everybody but besides the fighting it's actually pretty good and fun I also forgot to mention this was 27 years ago so he could have changed by now

I had prior years of therapy and various doctors and found that at specialized therapy that my experience with the therapist, doctor and the functional nutritionist was extraordinary. I learned how to sleep well and eat well and eventually got off of medication. I feel my best now. The professionals are excellent here. The hours convenient and accommodated my schedule. I can't say enough great things about this practice because so much more was offered than just traditional therapy. This is the first time I actually feel like I am really well. I am excited about life again. Thank-you for all you have done for me.

New Pathway has been the best experience in my recovery. The way the program is run is different than any other iop. The counselors train you physically, mentally, and emotionally. With the soarfit workout, the yoga/meditation and groups, I always feel great when I leave. And when you graduate, alumni can come back and continue with the workouts! My wife had a minor surgery done here. Relatively clean and tidy facility. Also a decent level of privacy compared to other hospitals we’ve had procedures done. Staff were kind, patient, and thorough. They mostly seem pretty happy, which engenders a lot of confidence in their system. Yes, there was a lot of waiting, but that’s every hospital. Surgery scheduled for 1:00, started at 2:00.

We want to thank Phelps Hospital ER from the bottom of our hearts. My husband was sick with high fever, turns out he had pneumonia. Every person who interacted with us was very kind, helpful, responsive, courteous, caring and prompt. They took him in quickly. Assigned him a nice room with a door and curtain. Everywhere was clean, everything and everyone was very orderly. They quickly did the work up, started the IV fluids, gave the nebulizer and painkillers. Dr. Nick was very cool. Big thanks to our nurse Ryan, super organized, super helpful. My husband received the treatment he needed, was feeling much better when we were leaving. We were done in less than 4 hours. We certainly did not expect our ER experience to turn out this way. Thank you for this pleasant surprise. Highly recommend.

I don't understand the negative reviews for this place. We found getting registered and placed with someone easy and accommodating. Kelly is AMAZING! I have not had positive experiences in the past with therapists, but she is the absolute best. She's "real," she listens, she is amazing at planning a session but also pivoting if necessary. I can't say enough good things about her!

I had the best experience ever at Summit Overlook Labor and Delivery! All of the doctors and nurses were incredibly supportive, kind, and full of great advice. My baby was born on 10/27, and the entire experience was amazing. During delivery, the nurses were cheering me on, it was such an empowering moment surrounded by strong, encouraging women.
Later, when I had a tough evening with my newborn, the nurses were right there for me teaching me how to latch, showing me the 5 “S’s,” staying up with me as I rocked her to sleep, and even making me an ice pack. I’m just overwhelmed with gratitude and so pleased with how the entire team treated me. I can’t thank them enough!

I don't know what this place is like now but I can tell you 30 years ago when I was a homeless addict, I came to try and get clean This program works it's not easy but neither is being on the street looking for money to get high. This is the program where you go when you have no friends no family no money and no insurance. It's no frills but it's clean they feed you and you get to learn how to live drug free with other people. I think we should invest in more places like this one. I Felt I had to add this after reading some other reviews yes this place is a very old building part of our job as we got clean was also to do the daily chores of keeping Our house clean. I don't know about some of the other people who were there but I was literally sleeping either on the trains or just in the street somewhere so This place was a step up for me. 🙏🏻 greatful every day.

I would highly recommend Summit Behavioral Group to anyone seeking a stepping stone for their journey in recovery. The therapists and groups provided me with the necessary foundation I needed to start my recovery. This hospital is awful. All you do is wait for hours. Not enough of staff. I had one foreign doctor was as rude as they come. All the money has to be going to the top management and administration. This place needs to be investigated for how patients are treated. The CEO and his cabinet of this hospital need to be replaced.The ER is like here stay in this room and someone may check on you in three hours.

I have had highs and lows with journey to wellness. I have been here many times for different sessions. Some I completed, some I didn't. But today for example things didn't go right but I still paeticipates in what I was able to. And they arranged things for me that got me the help and attendance I needed. I advice this place for iop or op ( that is what ive had experience with) and I wouldn't suggest anywhere else and ive been everywhere.

This reviews make me so sad because I’ve been coming here since 2015. At first I had a horrible therapist, but I ended up switching. I loved the two therapists that I had and currently love the one I have now. I’ve only ever had one bad psychiatrist and I get a new one every year. I’m so sorry to the people who’ve had a bad experience.

I'm currently in mental health groups also ,therapy sessions there at the Denville ,Nj location ;and I can say that the staff in the wellness office are very professional and polite and helpful in any information or concerns I ask or have. The therapist there is awesome and understanding, but he recently left to a other job besides that I forgot to mention it's a no judgment zone at groups.I will continue to update this in future post to see if feel the same.
Update things are still going well ,but the downside about the place is sometimes the communication about transportation( pick ups ) are especially unpredictable may forget to pick you up sometimes because of lack of drivers or communication/weather ;and sometimes group's time are changing every month and people leave for vacation or which jobs. My old therapist move to a different job so they replaced me with someone else. I'm still attending my mental health groups and I see a psychiatrist for my medication. I will update you guys soon take care always.
