I’ve had a wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff were warm, welcoming, and professional. They always greet me with a smile and are quick to assist with scheduling or answering questions. It makes every visit smooth and stress-free. I could say the same for the billing department. Everything has been clear, accurate, and well-explained. Whenever I’ve had a question about a charge or insurance coverage, they’ve taken the time to walk me through it patiently. It’s rare to find a medical office where the billing is this transparent and efficient. I truly appreciate the level of care and attention this office provides—not just medically, but in every aspect of the patient experience. Highly recommend!

This fine Italian deli has been around since 1996. I used to work up the block and came here regularly for lunch sandwiches or a homemade chicken parmesan or eggplant parmesan. I moved out of the area after retiring, and I was back visiting in Hackensack. We went here for lunch hero sandwiches. We all opted for a number 10, turkey with fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers, and balsamic vinegar. Ooooh, so good! Just like what I remember from 25 years ago. Cosmo looks the same..... just a little older! We washed the sandwiches down with Dr Brown' cream sodas. They also carry Stewart's sodas. Wow! You don't find that delicious soda in a deli often. Cosmo carries the best products! BTW: the sandwiches are loaded up with the ingredients; there's no skimping here. I totally forgot sandwich photos before I ate half, as we all dove in to eat after getting home. Parking is just behind the deli. If you're traveling down Rt 4, get off at either Main St (eastbound) or Kinderkamack Rd (westbound). I highly recommend this excellent Italian deli. It's the real deal!

I learned how to sleep well and eat well and eventually got off of medication. I feel my best now. The professionals are excellent here. The hours convenient and accommodated my schedule. ‘Hurt People , Hurt People’. I needed a free therapist and was able to have 5 intake sessions with a pleasant young woman. I benefited from these sessions as it is always rewarding when we analyze and acknowledge what is going on in our lives. So much was happening for me and I was not able to attend all the assigned sessions. Management was not able to communicate in a responsible or mature manner; I wonder maybe they too are prior clients who have graduated but do not have a total grip on their situation and sometimes need help themselves. My very pleasant intake person became insensitive, cold, ‘passive aggressive’ and quite non communicative. I lead the conversation and realized that I was being ‘expelled’. I really don’t know the reason as I do believe she has her own issues and the Leadership is not of a strong foundation with knowledge of servicing a diverse clientele. Such a shame because this has the potential to be a top notch program in a great community. I only wish I was able to find an experienced, strong, qualified leadership that is familiar with diversity and respect. I was feeling hurt as this was the second time I had to deal with leadership’s lack of sensitivity. It should not be just a JOB when people come to you for help. Fix the structure of this place.

This is a throwaway account for my own privacy. I did the PHP and IOP program at GenPsych in Livingston after I got out of the hospital. I am indebted to the staff, counselors, and fellow clients. I was at my lowest point and am able to say now that I am the healthiest I've ever been, and it's in part because of this program. One drawback I noticed is that they did have high turnover while I was there and seemed to have a lot of newer counselors who were not as experienced, but the DBT program is something that can be administered by anyone. If you're hesitating about doing this, I'd recommend it.

So I attended the intensive outpatient DBT program here for several months, and it was a challenging, emotional and also wonderful, rewarding experience. My therapist, Kayla, was incredible - very relatable and down-to-earth, compassionate and yet still held me accountable. The front desk staff and other DBT session leaders were great too - shout-out to Provi! If you've made it this far into my review and are debating whether or not to try the DBT program: DO IT. Commit, do the homework, participate in the groups, and it will be the first (big) step towards a better life.

I went there for a detox and got through barely. I got talked into staying longer for the program but ended up walking out on my 8th day. I spent one week there and walked out AMA.... as there were numerous conflicts between staff and clients. There were major arguments and almost fights everyday. The staff and nursing were actually really nice but i was lied to about being able to pick my stuff up. The nursing also confused me with another person twice. They initially said i would have to wait until the next day i left on a wednesday and im not able to pick my stuff up until the following monday.....i wouldnt suggest this place unless it was the only option left. but im still clean after going there because after that experience i never want to go to a rehab or drink ever again.
