They understand that we have enough to deal with in that adding a whole bunch of other stuff into the mix is hard for a lot of people. They all are a very understanding group of specialist. Brian O'Connor 3 years ago i thought this place was excellent. i loved the groups and my counselor. it seemed like they really cared. i had shown up 25 minutes late for the 3 hour group and they wouldn’t let me in. i live 45 minutes away and had counseling 2.5 hours later. woman at the desk said it wasn’t her problem. i was having a really rough day and needed to be there. mind you, i chose to go there. i wasn’t mandated or anything. they do an outstanding job pushing people away on their lowest days. I ended going back in 2020 when I was ready to change and they helped me so much and inspired me to become a substance abuse counselor.
