One Year Later: A Heartfelt Thank You
It’s hard to believe it’s been one year since I was admitted to Water Gap Wellness. Looking back, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for how far I’ve come. Today, I’m thriving in my profession, deeply connected to my family and friends, and—most importantly—healthy in every sense of the word.
From humble beginnings, I now wake up to a life filled with possibilities, choices, and hope. That transformation didn’t happen overnight—and it didn’t happen alone. The support, compassion, and guidance I received during my time in treatment will stay with me forever.
Water Gap wasn’t just a stop along the way—it was a turning point. A place where I learned how to heal, how to grow, and how to believe in myself again.

Water Gap provided me with amazing treatment! A real home away from home.
The facilities are modern, clean and well kept. The grounds are absolutely stunning, a tremendous asset while going through the healing process. No matter the season wster gap is truly beautiful. I am so grateful to g-d for sending me here. Only he could have orchestrated for me exactly what I needed.
The classes are inspirational, engaging and very informative. I learned so much and my entire life has changed for the better. Through my amazing Therapist Tina, I really got to understand myself so much better and to feel good about what I have to offer plus your amazing compassion and commitment to your job! As someone who recently left this facility (isn't my actual name), I don't agree with many of the reviews that I've seen. What I saw was a facility truly trying to help those who come in. Staff that would bend-over-backward to try to make people feel comfortable. They have a small staff, and a limited budget, and they go above and beyond places I've been that don't need to say the same. The rooms are clean everyday. The showers are great; let alone "not being able to clean your toothbrush". The place can be chaotic, but what would you call the people coming here in the first place? This isn't a spa; it's a place for sick people to get well, and they do their best to do that. I can't help but think a lot of these reviews are simply angry reviews by regularly angry people. It comes with the territory - we're people struggling. But I appreciate this place and the time I spent here; the staff and the effort they put in. The only credence I'll give is the minimal amount of contact to family had while here, but that doesn't equate to an unsafe environment and the allowance for people to make up whatever stories they want to about the place.
Anyway - to the staff of Hillside; thank you. You did a lot for me in my short time there. You actually pushed me to really think about getting into this line of work - helping people who are struggling as I still am, though improving everyday. Because of people like you, and places like Hillside

I am not sure how to start this review off besides saying Alina Lodge is the reason I am alive, sober, successful, and truly happy. When I entered Alina Lodge I was a shell of a person I had accepted the fact that I was going to die and was unwilling to give up my addiction. I will forever be grateful for the extended time I spent at Alina Lodge, I needed every second of it. Today I am not only 4 years sober but I am able to be a daughter, a wife, a sister, an aunt, and a friend which never would have been possible without Alina Lodge. I cannot thank the Little Hill Foundation enough for giving me my life back.

Phenomenal organization that truly cares about its patients recovery and were so helpful in my daughter's treatment, she is better off now from where she was when she first went in. It was not a perfect experience - there were several miscommunications that detracted from the recovery but their management owned all mistakes and missteps - Bill and Jen were especially forthcoming in this, something I appreciated. Most of the other staff were exemplary in their roles in supporting patients in their journey - want to especially recognize Amber as someone who exemplified the lodge's ideals of compassion and professionalism, she made a difference in my daughter's life.

Its been 3 weeks since I completed the 28 day program on (August 5, 2025) at Alina Lodge . From the moment I arrived (July 8, 2025)I felt comfortable and safe. THIS PLACE NOT ONLY SAVED MY LIFE IT ALSO BROUGHT LIFE BACK TO ME MENTALLY EMOTIONALLY AND PHYSICALLY! The program they have is great and I learned more and more about addiction but even more so about myself. The staff there are great , kind, loving amd compassionate. They are there to help and as long as you ask for that help you will get it . The environment was amazing given the space and time to recover and reflect on each group session. My favorite spot to sit and reflect was in the gazebo close the the river . The food was great each meal was also good and filling. Now at 48 days clean today 8/25/2025 i feel so great my life has improved dramatically! Thanks to the wrok i put it and the structure of Alina Lodge!!! I love you guys and thank you for helping me regain traction in my life I will be forever grateful!

Brookdale is a well rounded program that taught me how to live with my addiction and take my life back. It wasnt easy, but they never gave up on me. The staff are some of the best I’ve had out of the 4 other clinics I’ve been to. There are two major problems though. They’re admitting too many people when they only have two dosing windows (one of which is closed a lot of times). Second, they create and change rules every other week and don’t tell the patients. And when you break one of these rules that you didn’t even know existed, you get into trouble. They need to either get another dosing area, or stop admitting more people and they need to post ALL new rules and rule changes. Other than that, it is a GREAT clinic.

Been a patient for a little over a year and it's a pretty good place. I haven't had any problems at all. Even had to go to a different state for a week because of a funeral and received bottles for the entire trip. It's a great place if you have one of the good counselors that actually advocates for their clients.

I was rather anxious leading up to the procedure and the nurses were excellent with thoroughly explaining what to expect. This, coupled with excellent bedside manner helped to calm my nerves. This was my first time at this facility but based on my experience, I would highly recommend!

We unfortunately, had to take my daughter into the emergency room Saturday night to get stitches put in. She is only three years old.Leah and The team of nurses were excellent they took care of my daughter, and they supported me as a parent. The best decision was to take her there and I am so grateful my daughter is recovering amazingly. They did everything right. I am beyond grateful for them.

I won’t go into specific details of who is the patient but I’ve been to many different behavioral health practices and this one by far as given me the most hope, the most reliable, professional staff and have made things better in so many ways. The office staff is absolutely the best. I haven’t talked to all of the providers there in a session capacity but the 2 that I have are beyond awesome and all the others are friendly and I would feel comfortable as their patient as well. Holcomb has been a life saver. They actually care about you and what you are going through and they treat you with the upmost respect and are extremely helpful, caring and knowledgeable, they now have 2 Drs who can prescribe medication if needed and I have personally interacted with 4 different therapist and they are all just wonderful and help teach you the tools and coping skills to apply in your everyday routine

I’ve had more than my share of bad experiences with therapy, but the counselor here actually listend and helped my kids. Plus they were really flexible when I needed to change appointment times which happens a lot with me because of my work schedule. They also had telehealth appointments which made scheduling easier. Overall I’d recommend them

Only been here a couple times so far, but place seems decent. Staff are all friendly, and I like that they have cloud cloth's over the lights to make lighting more bearable. It is also close to home, which is nice.

Redco workers are truly amazing. Very friendly and very open minded. They don't push all kinds of medications and they don't switch them so much like other places. I have been a client of this facility since October 2021 when I came home from inpatient. Pyramid is the foundation to my recovery... I have never felt like I had to stop coming just because I "completed" a program. I actively attend weekly group sessions and biweekly individual sessions with my counselor Jim. He has been a huge advocate for me since taking over my case a year ago. He is honest and patient with me and makes me feel heard. I have been on MAT throughout the entire time and even though it didn't always go my way, they supported me through it all. Dr. Malcuhay has been seeing me for years and makes me feel like she genuinely cares for my well-being. Sacha from Allentown is one of the nurses that has shown me compassion and held me accountable when I was extremely late for an appointment. Alyssa the nurse is prompt and professional, and it's refreshing to actually receive responses to my emails. Kate, Katie, Gage, Towanna have all been wonderful and I look forward to seeing them all. If your insurance is up to date and paid, you will have no issues here. Thank you for helping me find myself again!
