The experience of clients is wholly dependent on the counselors. I had a good one. Clerical, billing and administrative all seem to genuinely be helpful. Most of your experience will be with the counselors, so yeah it'll really depend.
They may be able to help you realize triggers and non-consequential thinking. They can help to connect you with the treatment level appropriate, if any. They aren't selling a model of treatment or cajoling clients to be better. They expect if you're there, you're ready to be honest and open to the opinion of a professional. What you do with that information is yours. If you ask, they'll tell you how they can best help.
When seeing reviews for this place, please keep in mind the mindset of most people going to a county service and taking time to leave a review. Most people feel entitled to have access to these services instead of the privilege it is, so will often come at it from that viewpoint. I understand the county is not required to provide any services, but am grateful that they do.

New Pathway has been the best experience in my recovery. The way the program is run is different than any other iop. The counselors train you physically, mentally, and emotionally. With the soarfit workout, the yoga/meditation and groups, I always feel great when I leave. And when you graduate, alumni can come back and continue with the workouts! The experience with Never Alone was a breath of fresh air. My 16 year old son completed his journey 11/19 and came home with a whole new perspective on life and his future. His clinical technician Karissa was a wonderful aide in the process dealing with my son. The family sessions were a great opportunity for me, my son and his mom to work on communicating with one another which was hard to accomplish before our sessions but Karissa helped navigate that and allowed us to grow through our sessions. The weekly parent groups were a very helpful resource and tool as well. I appreciate all the support and encouragement the staff at Never Alone gave to my son and salute them for taking their time to guide my son through his journey.

My daughter spent over 2 months at Never Alone on her recovery journey. We can't say enough great things about the staff and the facility. The staff communicated well and provide support for the entire family. They have been the biggest step and help in her recovery, they provided her with tools she can use in her daily life to stay on tack to help cope with hard things that happen in life. She says now that this was the best thing that could have been provided to her while in addiction.

Never Alone brought back the child that was lost in drugs and addiction. We can't say enough about the staff and the facility. They loved and cared for her so well provide her with all the things she needed in her recover and helped her find herself again and provided her with the knowledge she needed to start her recovery. Methadone maintenance is the gold standard for opiate addiction for a reason. This stuff works, in addition I’ll add my counselor Katie is a straight up G. She truly cares about her clients. The rest of the admin staff is lovely as well. Our dosing nurses are fast and friendly. The only negative is the head nurse zaria or whatever, she leaves ALOT to be desired to say the least. How she is a medical professional at all is honestly a mystery.

MCCA new milford has helped me so much in so many aspects of my life. I personally would have never signed myself up for the IOP classes but im glad court mandated me to take them after I got pulled over drunk. Sue is such an amazing counselor and makes you feel comfortable to be able to talk about my issues and be able to work on them. I am a very stubborn person and she helped me realize that some of the things were not right. I still continue to see her once a month even after my program was done. I have recommended a few friends to go see her at MCCA because it could help them better their life and battle with issues just like it happened to me.

My class was court ordered, but it has almost been a blessing in disguise. I’ve learned so much, even though the curriculum they have to read out of and engage with the class, is a bit outdated, Alyssa and Sue still manage to bring the topics up to date to help you relate and retain. Sue, Alyssa and Jess…some of the most compassionate and understanding people you could ever ask and hope for going through this life choice of committing to better not only your health, your mental health. You’re with so many great people. Everyone conquering and learning about themselves and each other together. Hearing that you’re truly not alone, really is a powerful part of healing.

My wife had a minor surgery done here. Relatively clean and tidy facility. Also a decent level of privacy compared to other hospitals we’ve had procedures done. Staff were kind, patient, and thorough. They mostly seem pretty happy, which engenders a lot of confidence in their system. Yes, there was a lot of waiting, but that’s every hospital. Surgery scheduled for 1:00, started at 2:00.

We want to thank Phelps Hospital ER from the bottom of our hearts. My husband was sick with high fever, turns out he had pneumonia. Every person who interacted with us was very kind, helpful, responsive, courteous, caring and prompt. They took him in quickly. Assigned him a nice room with a door and curtain. Everywhere was clean, everything and everyone was very orderly. They quickly did the work up, started the IV fluids, gave the nebulizer and painkillers. Dr. Nick was very cool. Big thanks to our nurse Ryan, super organized, super helpful. My husband received the treatment he needed, was feeling much better when we were leaving. We were done in less than 4 hours. Phenomenal organization that truly cares about its patients recovery and were so helpful in my daughter's treatment, she is better off now from where she was when she first went in. It was not a perfect experience - there were several miscommunications that detracted from the recovery but their management owned all mistakes and missteps - Bill and Jen were especially forthcoming in this, something I appreciated. Most of the other staff were exemplary in their roles in supporting patients in their journey - want to especially recognize Amber as someone who exemplified the lodge's ideals of compassion and professionalism, she made a difference in my daughter's life.

Its been 3 weeks since I completed the 28 day program on (August 5, 2025) at Alina Lodge . From the moment I arrived (July 8, 2025)I felt comfortable and safe. THIS PLACE NOT ONLY SAVED MY LIFE IT ALSO BROUGHT LIFE BACK TO ME MENTALLY EMOTIONALLY AND PHYSICALLY! The program they have is great and I learned more and more about addiction but even more so about myself. The staff there are great , kind, loving amd compassionate. They are there to help and as long as you ask for that help you will get it . The environment was amazing given the space and time to recover and reflect on each group session. My favorite spot to sit and reflect was in the gazebo close the the river . The food was great each meal was also good and filling. Now at 48 days clean today 8/25/2025 i feel so great my life has improved dramatically! Thanks to the wrok i put it and the structure of Alina Lodge!!! I love you guys and thank you for helping me regain traction in my life I will be forever grateful!

Our son was at Tully Hill twice and I cannot say enough about how good this place is. It gave him hope and established the foundation for his recovery. The staff members are fantastic and our entire experience at Tully Hill was tremendous.

If it weren't for Tully Hill and all the staff there I would not be sober today.While no program is perfect,this place worked for me.I will be eternally grateful and highly recommend Tully Hill! I found the counselors wonderful and nursing staff were always available and willing to help and listen.

I cannot say enough positive things about Brookdale. I ended up there during a very dark time in my life. They picked me up and cared for me. The facility itself is like being at a high end resort. The staff are kind and understanding. They have rules in place for the well being of the clients. I totally enjoyed being without the distraction of my phone and TV. It gave me the chance to work on myself in the peaceful Pocono environment. The staff at Brookdale stay in touch with me to make sure I am doing good and encourage me. I will look at Brookdale as family for the rest of my life.

Brookdale helped to set me up with a great starting foundation in my recovery journey. All members of the staff made themselves available with any questions or concerns I had. The food and living amenities were wonderful. The classes and lectures were informative and geared to many different approaches to sobriety. One of the best parts is the active alumni community that awaits once you leave. You never have to feel as though you are going through this process alone.

As a child of parents who worked at Gould Farm in the 1970s-1980s, I can attest to its trusting, fun, and purposeful community setting. I found that the environment Gould farm creates on a daily basis is always inclusive and welcoming to everyone, and that’s probably one of the biggest appeals there and it makes it really feel like a home. I’ve only ever had positive interactions with staff, guests, and families and it just warms my heart to witness a place that so many kind people can benefit from. Not to mention, the scenery around the farm is absolutely stunning, with healthy nature all around, it really adds to the healing environment that Gould farm creates.
