Amazing place and miracles truly happen!!!I truly didn’t want to live anymore when I first got there but the staff there helped me change my thinking around and I am truly forever grateful!!!!!!Lori was nothing short of amazing and relentless on helping me get into the rehab and I ended up with an amazing counselor named John that really helped me open my eyes !!

Just a review from a loved one who is thankful for the care given. I don’t know much other than Lori is sent from a higher power to work on and coordinate rehabilitative services. We hope the tools and resources will spark the journey in lasting recovery and are so thankful for everything. Compassion is such a hard thing to convey, but it reverberates through the process from the very beginning of intake all the way to the heart of the journey. My daughter has received services from Astor for the last 2-3 years. I have nothing but good things to say about the receptionists, staff, therapists, nurses and NPs. They have been a blessing to us! When my daughter does not have an appointment one week due to a holiday or whatever, someone will call to check on us. I really appreciate that. It is tough having interns as my daughter's therapists but they need to train somewhere. If your child has extreme difficulty with change then ask for someone that is consistent.

I think this place is absolutely amazing... A bed, food, shower, a safe place to get clean and healthy, AMAZING staff who truly care about what they do and help in any way they can, a great stepping stone for integration back into the world after inpatient rehab. I'm so blessed, honored, and grateful to have been accepted here and have the wonderful team I have on my side and all the wonderful woman I'm here with helping each other this way.. I HIGHLY recommend trying this place out of ur trying to get sober. Jenna, Emma, Karen and carry r amazing..... Update( the new director there is amazing so caring and really truly wants to just help, and it's always there to listen and you can talk to her about anything... I don't know about these old reviews people are saying how terrible this place is I guess that was maybe when it was run by other ppl it wasn't as good . But I came in 5-11-23. Thru 5-10-24... It's been 7 years since I was in treatment at Mountainside. What a great place. I had no idea where I was going the night I ended up there, but I'm glad I went. They set me on the right path. I still attend the alumni get togethers organized by Kendal to Isabell. It's been very helpful staying connected. Life is so much clearer these days, greatful not to be in the dark haze of dealing with daily hungovers. I would like to say thank you to all the staff that helped me.

Mountainside changed my life, plain and simple. I came in during COVID when my casual drinking had turned into a daily necessity. I had tried detox a couple of times, thinking I could just reset and get back to normal on my own. Spoiler: I couldn’t. It took some trial and error, but Mountainside was patient with me every step of the way.
The real shift happened when I finally surrendered and let myself lean into the full support they offered — especially letting God take the lead again. The staff, from intake to long-term recovery coaches, genuinely cared, and it showed. They gave me the space and the tools I needed to get honest, do the work, and actually break free.
If you’re looking for a place that won’t give up on you and will walk with you through the process, Mountainside is it.

Mountainside Treatment Center was a life changing experience for me. I have been struggling to stay sober since my first time in treatment back in 2018. I have been able to put together long stints of soberity and unfortunately more than a few relapses.
This latest came in April of 2025. After going into detox I made the best decision of my life by going back to the place that gave me the tools to put together 18 months. When I arrived I was going to stay for a "tune up" and spend 2 weeks. Within a week I knew I had to stay so I put in 5 weeks.
My therapist Krystyna was the best and I continued to have the same with my therapist in IOP Lauren. I can go on and on about all the great things about Mountainside. I continue to stay involved through the amazing Alumni program on a monthly basis. The open AA meetings on Friday night are great.
It says a lot about a place when you look forward to going back to visit on a monthly basis !

I would like to share some thoughts about Mountainside and especially our sons recovery coach Christina.
Following his completion of a 28 day in-patient program with another provider he enrolled at Mountainside Chappaqua. He is in their Outside Patient and Recovery Coaching programs. Our son and Christina have been working together for about five months. They talk daily and meet weekly. A few weeks into the program Christina began doing weekly calls with my wife and me.
Our son works with various therapists, clinicians and other staff at Mountainside. He is complimentary of the entire organization and their contribution in helping him understand his addiction and providing recovery support. My wife and I only work with Christina.
Christina is EXCELLENT. She balances professional counseling, insight, accountability, great communication skills and timely follow-up. Having walked this life herself she is highly skilled and relatable but it’s never about her. Christina cares. She has built valued trust with all of is. My wife’s and my weekly calls provide an update on his progress and any open issues. She reminds us that he is accountable for his own recovery and keeps us in our lane. Most important she has helped keep our sons recovery moving positively forward day after day.

I am so impressed w/ Victory Bay across the board, starting w/ inception day1 when my son first went there & all the way thru the treatment process which in our case includes IOP & sober living housing. They made the whole onboarding process so easy at a time when our stress levels were so heightened. The team there is always accessible & at all levels. Even on day1 AJ (a co-founders) sat down w/ us to talk & it helped. Katie Quin his therapist has been tremendous & always there to discuss things & to help ensure a successful outcome. She always has the right balance of care, understanding, & directness to ensure the things that matter are heard & absorbed by the clients. I read the cross and the swichblade and my judge sent me there it was the best experience ever . It was a program that was faith based and holy spirit inspired jesus lead us straight to God . As disciples of christ we memorized whole chapters the word was brought to life they were not just words in a book anymore they were how we communicated with God parables psalms proverbs old and new testament it was a whole library a treasure chest full of how holy men were inspired with the Holy Spirit to give sound decrees precepts principles statues commandment and laws that even helped with health marriage social work ethics and moral issues in the family private and public lives of believers . Street ministry is living the word so when others see your hope you get to testify I was 14 than iam 58 now

My cousin, who is more like a brother to me, has been to DYC more than once. While he is no longer there today, that is not because of any shortcoming on DYC’s part. This place is truly a diamond in the rough.
DYC is one of the very few long-term treatment facilities available for youth, a rarity that in itself makes it invaluable. But beyond that, what makes DYC extraordinary is the people: kind, compassionate, dedicated individuals who consistently go above and beyond not only for its members but also for the families who walk alongside them in this difficult journey.
From the Fallsburg residence to the Brooklyn program and beyond, DYC offers so much more than treatment. It provides dignity, holistic care, and the life skills, introspection, and tools needed to break free from addiction’s grip. It is a place that treats people as whole human beings, worthy of love, healing, and hope.
Although my cousin is no longer a member due to his own circumstances and decisions, DYC has never left me behind. For over a year, I have been attending the family groups virtually every Wednesday, and in that time I have been heard, understood, guided, and supported. These groups have profoundly shifted my beliefs, my approach, and my ability to support not only my cousin but also myself as I navigate the long and painful road that addiction weaves into families.
I especially want to recognize Jen and Scott, who lead our Wednesday meetings with such care, wisdom, and compassion. Their ability to hold space for every single person in the group - through laughter, tears, and honest conversation - has been life-changing. They embody the heart of what makes DYC so special.
I have cried with this community, laughed with them, and learned from them. I have been humbled by the strength of other families and, in turn, found strength of my own. The gratitude I feel for DYC, the staff, the families, and the space they create together, cannot truly be captured by words. But I can say this: DYC has given me hope, perspective, and a community when I needed it most. For that, I am forever thankful.

I have never met such people that raised my hopes so high about the myriad of health , housing, and many other such things that they would help my husband with once he forked over that Medicaid card. Staff is absent , inept , and plain lazy. The most they do is look things up on Google ( which I can do myself ) and tell you to do the footwork. All they are about as are most case management programs is getting that Medicaid Card as they charge the government and give you below 0 service. So many promises...unfulfilled. DO NOT GET WITH ANY OF THEIR SERVICES. Once they get a hold of your poor people card, you will NEVER be left ANY improvements in any of your situations, I can't even wrestle my husbands Medicaid Card away from them to find better care.

I had my root canal done today my tooth was hurting so much. I couldn't explain this pain. I had two children, it was hurting. He made it so easy and painless. The finish is amazing and told me discoloration could happen but I am not too worry. I am very sure he will help. I love the staff they are very nice and make you feel great.
