Bergan New Bridge Medical Center offers drug rehab services to young adults and adults in Paramus, New Jersey. The center provides medication assisted treatment, inpatient treatment, partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient services, and aftercare programs. Specialized services are available for veterans and adolescents. Upon admissio | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Christopher Inzerillo (Orthopedic Surgeon) and Dr. Sufian Sorathia (Gastroenterologist) for their exceptional care and dedication.
I underwent shoulder surgery with Dr. Inzerillo, and the experience exceeded my expectations. I had no pain whatsoever, not on the day of the surgery nor in the following days. My range of motion, strength, and functionality returning within the weeks that followed, thanks also to the outstanding occupational therapy team he recommended.
Dr. Sorathia provided care of the highest professional and human quality. He was thorough, attentive, and ensured that every necessary test was done to rule out any issues, addressing every detail of my health concerns. I couldn't thank him more for the exceptional treatment. His team was equally compassionate and efficient, offering a level of care I had never experienced before.
Thanks to both of these remarkable physicians and their teams, I truly have my life back. I cannot thank them enough for their expertise, kindness, and commitment to their patients.
Thank you so much.

I've had multiple services done at New Bridge (ultrasounds, bloodwork, and CT scan) and had a great experience with them. The staff were friendly and the services were completed quickly and accurately. They sent the results to my other doctors as needed both within the New Bridge system and out (my a long time cardiologist in NYC). I also know that they provide a ton of community services to the local Bergen county area and beyond, and though I haven't personally needed it, their ER frequently has very quick waiting times compared to other hospitals I have experienced. Additionally, my primary care provider, Mellie Belvis, is part of New Bridge as well, and she is outstanding in terms of care, attentiveness, and skill. Highly recommended for healthcare services!

I'm truly astonished at the ungrateful and entitled people who are leaving these bad reviews.
They expect Club Med, for FREE no less, as someone holds their hand for 24 hours a day and sings them to sleep.
Unbelievable.
I arrived at Bergen New Bridge as many others have, sick, terrified and defeated. I had been absolutely abandoned by my pain management doctor of 15 years when my regular monthly Methadone prescriptions suddenly become impossible to fill as I had been doing for a decade and a half. New DEA rules or some such nonsense.......I won't get into specifics as to how badly my dr screwed me and how he just didn't care that I was about to enter hell, but he did and I was completely out of options.
After finding nothing on the internet that wasn't 30 to 50 thousand dollars, I found New Bridge. I couldn't believe that they took me right in with no insurance or money.
They got me through five really hard days......coming off of 80 MG of methadone a day for 15 plus years was no joke......but the doctors gave me meds that made it entirely bearable, I was actually amazed that I didn't get a lot sicker. The staff are all caring and attentive. Sure, its old but its clean. A bed and a TV and 3 meals a day (food was OK, sure could have been a lot worse) what more do you want for free for god's sake?
I would recommend this place to anyone needing help with nowhere else to turn.
Dr Accurso deserves a special shout out, he is amazing.

I never leave reviews but today 08/16/2025 I received the best care I have ever received at any hospital. Also my surgeon/doctor Matteo is the best and helped me calm my nerves because hospitals make me a bit nervous. Thank you all again for taking the best care of me .

To the Entire Staff at Holy Name Medical Center,
I had surgery at your facility today, and I feel compelled to share just how profoundly grateful I am for the care I received. From the very first step of the process to the moment I was discharged, every single staff member I encountered—receptionists, nurses, anesthesiologists, physicians, and beyond—treated me with a level of kindness, dignity, and humanity that quite honestly changed my outlook on healthcare.
In the past, I’ve had multiple experiences at Hackensack Hospital that left me feeling dismissed, unseen, and, frankly, dehumanized. The care there was impersonal at best and emotionally damaging at worst. It instilled in me a deep sense of fear and anxiety about seeking medical treatment again.
However, being under the care of Dr. Lieberman at Holy Name changed everything. It was because of him that I chose to have my procedure done here—and I’m so glad I did. Every single person I interacted with at Holy Name treated me as if I were a member of their own family. I was not just a patient or a chart number—I was a person. I was heard, seen, supported, and cared for with true compassion.
From pre-op to post-op, every detail of my experience reflected excellence—not just in clinical practice, but in human connection. The nursing staff checked on me consistently with patience and warmth. Administrative staff ensured everything was seamless. And my follow-up care has been nothing short of exceptional.
Holy Name exemplifies what healthcare should be: compassionate, attentive, and profoundly human.
I now recommend Holy Name Medical Center to my family, my friends, and anyone who is looking for quality care grounded in empathy. This hospital has earned not just my trust, but my deepest respect and gratitude.
To the leadership team: please share this message with your staff. Let them know that their work does not go unnoticed. It matters. It is felt. And it is deeply appreciated.
With heartfelt thanks,🙏

Evas is a decent place that genuinely cares about there clients. I'd honestly say it's the best state funded halfway house in NJ. I've been here 6 months with no real complaints. Obviously this place is state funded and the majority of clients are on drug court or parole so there is no jacuzzi, pool and horses but like I said it’s not a bad place

I am and will forever be so grateful to this place and its staff. I feel I’ve learned so much about myself and now have a good awareness of why I’ve felt the way I have my whole life, so irritable and disconnected from the world. Big thank you to all the staff, Tamara, Ms. Mayling, Bryant, Dwayne, Tim, Ms Keisha, Isabella, Patrick, The Dave’s, Ms.Q, Gus, Vince, Dawn, all have the interns, everybody there helped me more then they will ever know by teaching me how to get honest and open minded to a new way of life. Turning point as well as life in general is what you make of it, I’ve been fighting with drug addiction for 20yrs and could never understand why no matter how successful I would get on the outside I would always turn back to drugs in the end. I finally came to understand that for me it had to be addressed on the inside, I had to open up about everything I’ve ever been through whether I thought it was relevant or not to my addiction. I’m so grateful that I’ve finally surrendered to this process, learned how to accept my past, help, and that this is a life long process that is well worth the effort. If you are suffering from addiction please try and stay open minded, turning point is a great facility it you want to learn how to begin to change your life

This place completely saved my life, it taught me a new way to live and that I am a man, worthy of love and respect. Since there, in 2017, I had one slip up about a year after I graduated, but that was almost 8 years ago now. Since then, I went to welding school, they set me up in a halfway house in NYC, moved back home to Rochester, NY. I have worked in the welding industry and slowly worked my way to where now I run a million dollar welding training program and I try pass along the same message I learned there. Wanted to take a moment to dote on counselor Richelle Atkins. She has been instrumental in helping me change my life and work through my addiction. When you find someone like Richelle who is not just passionate about her job but truly cares for the people and community - that kind of dedication to the cause helps me to feel not so alone. Judgement has no place at Restorative and Richelle is a true reflection of that. I could tell her anything and she would only try and make it better for me or challenge me to think of how I can do better in the future. Even in the midst of her own personal struggles she shows up for her clients 100% each day. Straight & Narrow is not perfect, but neither is anyone. They have they're flaws and imperfections just like I do. If the place was absolutely perfect people would find something to complain about. It's just how it goes. I had a warm bed, hot food, and although the groups were limited, it was my choice to attend more than I was scheduled to go to. So that's what I did. People complained about group time and then complained about down time because they were bored.. I guess it's a journey that is decided individually. I opted to go to every group everyday and every opportunity I had I would volunteer for things to do to help. I was rarely bored and always looked forward to the weekdays rather than weekends because I liked the groups. They didn't keep me longer than originally discussed when I arrived as others were saying. But then again, maybe others didn't participate to their potential or maybe others didn't take the initiative to show their counselors what their intentions were. Some people want to get better and some people are court ordered to be there. The. Some, like me, were court ordered but wanted to get better. I completed a relapse prevention plan to present to my counselor and constantly asked her for more work books to better myself so she knew my intention was authentic. I guess I just felt that it was important for me to clarify my experience there because nobody pointed out anything positive, here's something. THE PLACE GAVE YOU ANOTHER CHANCE AT LIFE, IF YOU DONT TAKE IT AND IMMERSE YOURSELF INTO YOUR RECOVERY, YOUR DOOMED TO REPEAT HISTORY. The only shot we have is inside of us, the four walls doesn't mean a whole lot. it's your personal motivation.. Ask yourself what you want more and why. Thank you straight & narrow for the opportunity to take advantage of your program and I couldn't be more pleased with the majority of the staff. My counselor, Emily, was a super helpful person and important role in my early recovery. She challenged my answers, which I respect, and she also made me be accountable for my own recovery. She Cares, that's ultimately how I feel about her and I can't thank her enough. I would recommend this facility to anyone who wants recovery and isn't worried more about the color of the paint or what mattress they have, that person probably doesn't want recovery to begin with....

It's a bit hard to find the front door for the first time. It looked like a church building, but then I went around the corner and there it was lol. I expected it to be awful HOWEVER complete opposite. Very clean and cozy place. Never crowded. The staff is very patient and concerned with your well being.
There's a welcoming presence as snacks are available in a small wicker basket. Self serve coffee is always available (not messy or sticky at all) cold water is available just ask the front desk clerk. The seats in the waiting area are clean and comfortable with a television that usually shows the news. Restroom is available.
When you enter you ring a bell and look through the glass panel. They buzz you in, you scan your forehead in the digital thermometer and sign in. If you don't have a mask they'll provide you one.
The intake process, groups, one on one counseling are all extremely comfortable and easy. The other clients are very friendly and welcoming as well. Please give this place a try.
