About Cincinnati Challenge Ranch
Cincinnati Challenge Ranch (formally Teen Challenge Cincinnati) is a residential addiction recovery program for men. They use a faith-based approach to help residents overcome substance use disorders and other life-controlling concerns.
This 130-acre ranch is located in Clermont County in the greater Cincinnati area of Ohio. It’s set up as a registered nonprofit and offers affordable programs for residents thanks to generous donor support. Clients can get a payment plan if needed to help them be able to attend this facility.
They can accommodate up to 21 men at a time. The rural setting of this facility can provide a break from the distractions and stress of modern life. The ranch’s proximity to nearby Little Miami River also offers off-site opportunities for fishing, kayaking and other nature programs.
Long-Term Recovery for Men in Ohio
The programs they offer at this facility are six, 12 or 18 months in length. They include a blend of education, recreation, Bible studies and therapeutic work. They support men as they transition out of treatment with their aftercare program.
The ranch features multiple buildings that house a dining hall, chapel, dormitories, offices and a workshop.

Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.
