Words could never express my appreciation for the team at La Hacienda. The buildings are older than I expected, but the love and treatment there is state of the art. I had little to no hope before coming to Kemah Palms Recovery. I had just spent 8 days at a med-center hospital after a suicide attempt and they wouldn't discharge me unless it was to a rehab. Kemah Palms was actually my 6th rehab in the past year and a half. It was the first one I actually finished. I had left against medical advice at all the others. I was on a tremendous downward spiral with so much momentum that there was no stopping this fall. I was coping with the pressures of a recent divorce and spending the last two plus years fighting for my son's life who had had 4 open heart surgeries and 3 brain surgeries amongst many others. That was in addition to life's other traumas and pressures. I am dual diagnosed and my PTSD is so extreme it doesn't usually allow me to deal with situations of chaos and high stress. The team at Kemah Palms developed a treatment plan just for me and weren't so legalistic with the rules that I couldn't make it through there, but also had enough order that it was a safe environment. Earlier in this review I mentioned this being the first rehab I finished. That begs the question "what was different about Kemah Palms Recovery?" The biggest difference for me were that the people who are with you day in and day out are former recovering addicts themselves and actually care about recovery. They understand this is life and death and come at you from a place of understanding and love. From their director Paul (no one knows more about recovery than this man) to their clinical director Tabitha (compassionate and intuitive) to my counselor Mrs. Day (best in the business and a true overcomer) to all the RA's and I do mean absolutely all of them, they prioritize you as a person and put your recovery first. From Raquel (super sweet and caring) to Michael (now my sponsor and I wouldn't have it any other way) to Cody (a fantastic recovery ally who I can still call and process with today) to Kristen (super caring) to Christian (rooted in faith) to Matt (a caring recovery advocate) to Abbie (authentically cares for you as a person) to Julie (who knows how to keep you grounded) to Ember (heart of gold) to Ashton (strong advocate) Mandy (super love her and no more caring/empathetic person alive) to the nursing staff, Hailey,(actually saved me when I was choking and also grounded in faith) to Carmen (fantastic nurse.) From Ashlynn who was kind and caring during my intial call, to even Jennifer and Stephanie who make sure you're set up for success when you leave by making sure you have living arrangements and appointments set. Basically just everyone from the doctors to even the maintenance staff Andy, Curt, and Cameron, this place is all about recovery and doing what it takes to get you healthy and the best version of you. I must also mention Mrs. Clara the cook. That was some of the best eating I have ever had. I even spoke with the owners several times while I was there and they are absolutely awesome. You'd think a place like this would be profits over people and most rehabs are, but it is super refreshing that this is the exception to that rule where people and their recovery come first. I love this place. I have to mention the equine therapy they have with two awesome horses, (Star and Cassie) and Sparky the recovery dog was there to love on you when you needed a friend. The community and love here and the continued connection has laid the foundations for what my recovery will be for the future. I am now participating in their PHP program and Jason and John are fantastic. They are the counselors running that program and they really challenge your old thought processes. I am approaching 2 months sober at this time, which is huge if you know me, and nothing short of a present day miracle. If you're looking for a place to partner with you and give you the necessary tools for you to be sober and successful I highly recommend this place. Kemah Palms Recovery is more than a rehab, they are love. ❤️

Well considering I’ve been to quite a few rehabs, Kemah Palms has hands down been the best one. All the staff was very welcoming from the moment I walked through the front door. Detox was surprisingly good, Residential had its ups and downs but that’s all about perspective. The counselors were amazing! Told me what I needed to hear not what I wanted to hear. I’ve never felt so confident in recovery. They gave me wonderful tools to use. Taught me away to handle life in a more affective way. I would recommend KPR to anyone looking to change their life.

I was unsure of how this program would benefit my recovery in the beginning; I did not buy in fully for almost two weeks, but I am so glad I did. I want to thank the amazing staff- RA’s, Counselors, Admin, Groundskeepers, and especially the other clients I befriended along the way for their role in my recovery. I am a better man for it today, and I’m eternally grateful.

I don’t even know where to begin. This treatment center is truly changing lives. My husband attended their program during one of the hardest times our family has ever faced, and I can confidently say they gave us hope and confidence in his recovery. From day one, the staff treated him with compassion and dignity. They weren’t just professionals—they were caring, patient, and truly passionate about helping people rebuild their lives. The counselors went above and beyond, not just helping him work through addiction, but helping him rediscover who he is without it. What meant the most to me as a spouse was how they kept family involved and supported throughout the process. I felt heard and understood. This wasn’t just treatment—it was transformation.

Discovery Point is an amazing place. I’ve only been here for a week, but it already feels like home. A pool, nice gym, great staff, and amazing chefs. Drew (chef) on top of her great cooking, is so positive and always smiling, and Star makes the best desserts - we even get desserts at breakfast when she’s here!! At the support staff and nurses are so kind and patient. So if you need a place to heal and recover from your addiction issues - this is the place:)

They Ubered me to the clinic when my car broke down and even they stayed open late because of the bad weather. These people always go the extra meter to take care of me no matter what. Five stars!!!

Everytime I come here the staff are beyond amazing very personable no judgement passed on and extremely helpful always quick and easy Cynthia is still my favorite though ;)

Great staff very friendly and very good service

As the parent of a loved one who is addicted to alcohol, I highly commend the services provided to him and to our whole family while he was a resident at Lighthouse Recovery in Dallas, Texas. Lighthouse provided a supportive environment and a treatment regimen that was individually tailored to his needs, his strengths, and his weaknesses. Even when he suffered setbacks, the staff continued to provide structure, support, and encouragement to succeed. During his time at Lighthouse, his case manager, Michael, provided regular updates on his progress in weekly phone calls to us family members, and he was always accessible when we had questions or concerns. Even when my son chose to leave Lighthouse so that he could resume drinking, the Lighthouse staff stayed in touch with him every day to make sure he was safe, and they eventually were able to persuade him to enter a long-term rehab program.

My time at lighthouse was phenomenal, the staff were really great and they accommodated all my needs. The clinical was amazing, and the community really helped me during my time there. I was able to graduate high school thanks to them and i would recommend lighthouse to anyone who is looking for a sober living

I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you. When I came here fresh out of rehab, I was in a rough spot, and honestly, I didn’t know if I’d ever pull myself together. But you all took me in, gave me a place to get my head straight, and most importantly, you never gave up on me—even when I wasn’t making it easy. The Orchard changed my life! Between the staff, counselors, and management there unified goal is something I have never seen! From the minute you arrive you are greeted with hellos, smiles, and staff focused solely on you and your recovery. With accomodations similar to a 5 star resort you won't find another facility that pays attention to the little details. Lastly, what I believe makes The Orchard the best in the country....is there program. While learning about addiction, Counselors work with you to address the underlying issues that started you down your addiction journey. I was able to tackle years of trauma and unspoken issues that once addressed freed me from the shackles of addiction. Since leaving the Orchard I have remained sober and The O will always be a place of healing and hope! If your looking for the real deal- this is the place you want to be!

From the beginning, the staff was helpful in understanding the process, getting insurance approval, clear communication to the family throughout the process, etc. The staff is wonderful about checking in with the patient post-visit and have developed a vast network of alumni who are deeply connected. LaHa is a place where hope begins and provides the tools to find health and wellness.

Amazing program and the staff genuinely cares.

Long story short, 35 years of hard drinking landed me in a ditch in a city I'm not even from. But I thank GOD every day for it! My desperation for change got me to Briarwood detox center. I was so scared but I was unusually willing to do anything, the night before waking up in that ditch I was contemplating suicide, again. For so many years I watched my life fall apart time and time again, over and over. I really never understood why I was unable to control my drinking. Leaving Briarwood and while being transported to Nova recovery center I didn't know what to expect but my anger and anxiety were already building. I still can't get over how amazing Nova looks, it pretty much relaxes you the minute you arrive! I had never been to "rehab" before so I was blown away by the beauty of the amenities and the attentive staff. So with that said, I was sweet and grateful to be there for about 48 hours and then I started being the walking talking character defect stage character I was, telling everyone how they should do their jobs and finding things, if not inventing things to complain about. I still get embarrassed sometimes of my actions and comments I made the first weeks of my stay. But what stands out is how the staff didn't even blink! I never got the reaction I would of deserved! I was loved on! I was given understanding and compassion! They treated me like the sick person who needed help, that I was! They dug in and held me accountable with truth and what I referrer to as grace. The Recovery specialist who work with us, for us and teach us vital solutions to my disease of alcoholism that I will be forever grateful for. From the frequent individual counseling sessions to the daily group counseling classes to the, "hey I need to talk!", I received an understanding of how to maintain my life of sobriety! Nova is a very important and special place to me so I could really go on and on but the main point I want to testify about is this, I'm truly a better person today because of the dedication to helping people by the Nova recovery family! Place is fantastic! One of my relatives completed the program, and their progress has been remarkable.

I really needed some accountability and to be around other sober people after a relapse on alcohol in August. I signed up for the online IOP service and my counselor was Jasmine. She was amazing. I found myself looking forward to group everyday and felt a great relief of wanting to use after group. It helped me stay sober and maintain abstinence from alcohol I am truly grateful for the program. Jasmine is amazing and I consider her a good friend at this point she was able to talk me out of using my stinking thinking a lot of times and evaluate my situations from another perspective, which helped me get away from the parts of me that contribute to relapse.

Mr. Darby, Mr. Cross, all the RA's, most especially Ms. Beth and Miss Berta! Such wonderful people! Thanks for always being there when we need y'all the most!

The Springboard Center is a great treatment facility for anyone willing to get sober. It's a 30 day inpatient program. Springboard was very supportive every step of the way. The counselors, RA's and all the staff were extemely compassionate, kind and understanding. I have been so blessed to have been given the opportunity to rebuild my life on a clean and sober slate. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would as words cannot express my gratitude. I will forever be eternally grateful for my experience at Springboard.

The whole experience at the SpringBoard center has been positive.From the intake interview where they understood exactly what I was going through mentally, emotionally and physically. To providing transportation to the facility to start my recovery treatment. Counseling, therapist as well as individual sessions were what made all the difference in my recovery. I always felt that my needs were met at all aspects of recovery. Kitchen staff, janitorial kept the facility in top noch condition. Everyone who has asked me how I am doing in my journey of recovery, I tell them, " it wouldn't have been possible without The SpringBoard Center ." I will continue to recommend the SpringBoard center to anyone seeking to end a cycle of addiction.

I have very mixed feelings about this place. I have been through IARC 4 times. There are many pros and cons, the biggest pro is the staff. Many of them genuinely care about the patients and have been around for years. Some staff have no business working in recovery, but "i wont take other people's inventory". This place is obviously a business first and a rehab second; sometimes clients that belong in a different type of institution slip through the doors. The food is mid. They use YouTube as a recovery tool, which is fine. The experience of going through the program is where most of the recovery comes from. I genuinely do appreciate most of the staff, they make up the heart and soul of that place. My recommendation to anyone considering IARC for rehab is... 1. Be honest, dont take away someones bed if you dont want it. 2. You better have thick skin and a high pain tolerance. 3. Use bathroom slippers if you dont want athletes foot. This place saves lives and has potential. Hope this review helps anyone conaidering going there.

Starlite recovery center has helped me reclaim my self as a person. The counselors were phenomenal in helping me find my rout to recovery. This place was a huge game changer for my husband. He was really struggling with alcoholism when he arrived. Everyone was kind, honest, and patient. He stayed the whole 90 days and still wasn’t ready to leave, he loved it so much. He found peace in himself here. We were recommended to Touchstone by a friend and we tell everyone who asks about Touchstone what a difference it made for my husband. He had attended other rehabs in the past but no where else made a difference. Touchstone will not only change the life of the addict but the life of those that love them as well.

The Healing Springs team is both knowledgeable and thorough. I have had the pleasure of hosting one of their events, and their precision on planning was remarkable. Such a wonderful place to go. Great counselors, techs, nurses, cooks and cleaning staff. The residents are very welcoming as well. Great place to recover.

Great Oaks was a great place for me. I didn't have a clue what to expect when I showed up but was quickly surprised how welcome I felt within a couple days. We all have one thing in common, we need help quitting. The techs were great at making you feel at home. Jody and Catie took care of all the insurance details and outpatient details which I am clueless about. Patrick helped me come out of my shell and really start understanding some underlying issues I didn't know I had. The kitchen prepared great meals and I definitely didn't go hungry (still trying to lose weight). I'd like to thank everyone there for giving me the tools to strive on the outside!

I was at Enterhealth last year — and I’m proud to say I’m one year sober! Thanks to Enterhealth I got my life back. If you’re struggling and need help this is the place to go. Lenny was awesome. Tammy was great. The nurses were awesome, and the techs were just as incredible — everyone always kind, nd there when you needed them. And the food? Top notch. Way better than I expected. Everything about the place showed they they truly care. Mr. Raj has really turned that place around. You can feel it — the environment, the staff, the program — it all works together to actually help people heal. This is the best placeto get help!

I’m writing this review as it has been 6 months and 1 day since a small group of family and indirect supporters led me to Enterhealth after months of isolating with Tito’s was followed by years of binge drinking and drinking throughout the day, to get through the day. Everyone’s journey in sobriety is different and people take away different things from recovery. This is my 2nd time to go to treatment and it has been completely different than my 1st time. I feel like Enterhealth not only “got me sober”, but they helped me battle this by addressing my physical health, my strengths and weaknesses as well as my mental health. I also feel like I was given the freedom to be in charge of my own recovery plan. Physical and mental health were important to me and they allowed me to dive into that. I’m also not religious so I was much more receptive to their curriculum on the disease instead of just praying it into remission with AA. (Although they do offer AA based groups). Other things such as the community, the food, the privacy of your own cabin, the routine and the amenities are all major perks that help you focus on your treatment. I will say, this place is a major investment. I would be wary if your loved one is resistant to change. I feel like Enterhealth is a huge gift. I would recommend this place to anyone who is ready to embrace a better life and is ready to work for it. 💜

Good quality VA services. The only problem is with prosthetics, I have been waiting for my back brace for over 3 months! Every month, I check/follow up, and they tell me it's still on order!
