About Transitions Sober Living
Transitions Sober Living (TSL) is a program that provides safe and secure living environments to men looking to break cycles of addiction in their lives. They have eight residences dotted around the Denver metro area. Their location in Aurora, Colorado, can be found near Wheel Park, just northwest of the Cherry Creek Reservoir.
Apart from TSL’s internal recovery program and environment (both of which are guided by the founder’s personal understanding of what you need during recovery), its location itself can be of great benefit. Being close to a few great natural spots offers many opportunities for hiking, kayaking, exercising, swimming and even skateboarding.
A Structured Environment
Accountability is at the foundation of their program. They have staff that provides supervision and motivates residents to stick to the program and their own personal commitments. They also help keep residents accountable by requiring a drug test upon entry and thereafter.
Within a few weeks of joining, they’ll encourage you to plug into a recovery community or program nearby as well as to find a job or a volunteer position. Some examples that meet their recovery requirement include AA and NA groups, SMART recovery programs and outpatient addiction therapy. Because of this, they do accept individuals receiving medication assisted treatment at nearby facilities.
Providing More Than the Essentials
Their residence itself is beautiful and well maintained, sporting various amenities for your comfort. They have equipment to do laundry on the premises, fast wifi, cable and a professional cleaning service that comes once a month.

This is followed by intensive rehab, then a maintenance program that may include 12-step support.
