Many things have changed since 4 years ago. But I will say that Shelley, the RN finally got my meds at 5 days and my suboxone got lost somehow, and I was definitely taken back at how operations have changed, but the texts were pretty good. If I could, I would check 10 out of 5 stars. Defining Wellness was not the first treatment center I had attended, it was the fourth; two IOPs and a residential treatment center prior. I can't fully put into words the difference in the quality of care I received at Defining Wellness. I thought the first treatment center I went to was great and I made it a little over two weeks before I relapsed. I went to an IOP shortly after and had my first large period of sobriety and then, relapse. I made it about two weeks after my second IOP before I made the decision that I needed a higher level of care and was referred to Defining Wellness. The facility was super nice. 5 star luxury accommodations? Close, but the facility far exceeded my expectations. What made the difference and very literally saved my life was that staff. These people pour their hearts and souls into ensuring their clients are taken care of to the best of their abilities. In the 48 days I was there between detox, residential and residential PHP I never had the same class. I never experienced boredom from being told the same thing over and over again. Counselors took their personal time to speak with me if I had questions or just to talk to me to see how I was doing. The classes we had daily were well thought out and conducted by people that obviously had an intense passion about bettering the lives of others. I am days away from beating my "record" of the longest period of sobriety I've ever had and I owe every single day to the faculty of Defining Wellness. I would recommend this facility to anyone who genuinely wants to learn that they may have to live with their disease for the rest of their life, but they can live it without using ever again. I have accepted and am comfortable with the fact that I never have to drink again. Thank you to everyone at Defining Wellness for saving my life and allowing me to start the process of finding myself after 25 years of redefining my rock bottom over and over again.

I will never be able to fully express how grateful I am for the team at Stonewater Adolescent Recovery Center. From the moment my son arrived, he was met with compassion, structure, accountability, and genuine care. Over the course of 90 days, I watched my son who felt lost begin to rediscover purpose, confidence, and hope again. The staff not only supported him through recovery, but also supported my family through one of the hardest seasons of our lives. Every therapist, mentor, staff member, and peer played a role in helping him believe in himself again. The level of dedication, communication, and compassion shown here is something we will never forget. Recovery is a lifelong journey, but Stonewater gave my son a foundation to continue building on, and for that I am endlessly thankful.

As parent’s we were terrified, but choosing Stonewater was the best decision for our son. We spoke to the owners, The Fikes Family, from the beginning and they truly guided us from the beginning to the end. They have lived through addiction so they know the pain and they have followed the process themselves. So they personally have seen the process work. The staff truly cares about adolescent boys and their recovery. They treated our son with dignity. The counseling staff is so supportive and caring. They are wonderful at tough love. Our son was not so kind to his therapist in the beginning but she stood by him and they became the best of friends. He trusted her so much by the end. The RA’s and other support staff love their jobs and give so much of themselves to support those in recovery. The family program helped us heal and understand the process. We would highly recommend Stonewater to any parent looking for a compassionate, safe, and structured environment for their son. We cannot thank the wonderful staff enough for giving us our son back. My experience at Oxford Treatment Center in Mississippi was truly life-changing. Of all the treatment centers I've attended, Oxford stands out as one of the very best. One of the things that made the biggest impact on me was their Christian-based recovery program. The faith-centered approach helped me reconnect with God and provided hope, strength, and purpose throughout my recovery journey. The combination of evidence-based treatment and spiritual guidance created an environment where I could heal both mentally and spiritually. I was there mid 2025 and every staff member made me feel welcome and with family. Huge shout out to Miss Resa, for being an awesome and amazing counselor, all the C.A.’s that I have talked to and helped me through my dark times to see the light at the end of the dark and dreary tunnel I couldn’t seem to get out of. I called 4 help with alcohol and I got a wonderful lady name Lana in support center. She gave some number, to try to help, but 2 of the. Numbers where not working. The last number I tried was working. But the person on other end was rude. But anyways, the support center is a great place to get advice. Thank ms. Lana in support center.

Thank you for all that you do for us. Every time I visit the VA, I’m treated with a level of care and respect that humbles me. I’m welcomed, listened to, and cared for in ways I don’t feel deserving of, yet the staff consistently go above and beyond. The professionalism, kindness, and genuine concern shown by every team member makes a real difference. I’m grateful for the way they serve veterans with dignity and compassion. Note, this review is only for the mental health buildings 19 and 25. I agree with others that the main hospital gets mixed results. Patient advocate's office is your friend for reporting incidents. I'm an Army veteran with two deployments. I came here for a 30-day residential program to get my PTSD under control. To any veteran reading this: it truly works, if you do. The medical staff was incredible—from the counselors and psychiatrists to the amazing nurses. They stabilized me, got my medications squared away, and then we did the CPT work that really brought the healing: but you have to want it and work hard for it. The other veterans in our groups were a huge part of it too. We all shared very similar symptoms, and that does something powerful—you instantly feel like you belong and you're not fighting this alone. My family noticed the difference by the 10th day. I thank God for sending me here, and the only thing I regret is waiting so long. If you’re a veteran fighting alone--feeling angry, numb, or isolating yourself from the world, then consider giving this place a try. Walking through the door may be the hardest step (incredibly hard, honestly), but it might also change your life the way it changed mine.

I had to make a special call to give a personal "Thank You" to Executive Director, Dedria D. Black for her wonderful staff at the Harbor House Chemical Dependency Center in Jackson Mississippi. The staff there are Professionals, Supportive, Compassionate, Caring etc. Their treatment philosophy goes above and beyond to make sure that their clients get the very best care for their recovery. Whenever I would call they gave me updates on my family member and their recovery. I've had over 40 years experience managing and working hands on in customer service. Finding the perfect team isn't easy but they've managed to do just that at the Harbor House. I would also like to send a special "Thank You" to Mission Specialist, Mrs. Shirley, Intake Coordinator, Mrs. Kayla, Nurse Manager, Mrs. Morenik and Counselor, Mrs. Kim Curtis for going above and beyond. Definitely in my top 3 Rehabs I have ever been too. Ive been to a handful from Georgis to Mississippi, from clinical to faith based I have been able to learn something from each of them. I will tell you know that the Program Director, Dr Jacob's "Stina" is a clinical and spiritual genius. The Staff, easy to get along with and make it extremely comfortable. Amazing staff! I cant say enough great things about the methodist's staff! Ive been helping my brother in law through a traumatizing illness. Ultimately ending in an above the knee amputation and the death of my sister. The staff has been amazing! My only complaint is their signage. If you are visiting the facility in Flowwood, do yourself a favor....CALL and ask for directions! Its a large facility with multiple buildings and entrances. The signage needs an improvement!

Not caring or devoted staff. Yawning while in session, completely causing me to just shut down again, very disappointed with this so-called professionalism. Edit: I've since changed therapist, it's alot better!
