My son is 18 and struggling with a fentanyl addiction. To say the very least it’s been hard and traumatic. My son went to the crossroads detox facility. The 12 step program works miracles and the people that work within the facility have first-hand experience often times with their own addiction recovery. Rose and Bridgette were incredibly impressionable on my son and worked very hard to influence him positively. If I could afford to open a dozen more of these places I would. Scottsdale Providence saved my life. As a lifelong drug addict I didn’t feel that there was much hope. I thought it was going to be awkward being a bit on the older side at 48, but neither preconceived notion was true. The staff at the residential house was warm and inviting. They reassessed and modified my medications which made me feel so much better. The staff immediately formed a treatment plan taking into account my goals. The group sessions are amazing and include everything from cutting edge therapy, traditional therapy, yoga, meditation, and daily check ins. The ono on one sessions are with highly skilled and compassionate therapists who use a variety of techniques. Once leaving residential and stepping down to PHP at the treatment center the amazing care continues. The group sessions are intense and very engaging. The one on one sessions continue to be facilitated by highly skilled therapists. Many of the staff are in recovery themselves. They treat everyone equally no matter what race, sect, political views, pronouns, religion, rich, poor, old, and young. I suffered a horrific family tragedy that occurred while I was still in treatment. The SPRC staff swooped in and offered me all the help and extra therapy I needed. They modified my treatment plan to account for this change. They even helped me get my affairs in order. And now that I’m a few days from completion, they have made sure everything I need to be successful is in place. From amazing facilities to having the very best staff, this place is second to none. It isn’t just a country club, they push you to work towards your goals and keep close eye on your progress. If you want to sit in a pool and have your hand held for 90 days, this is not the place. If you are serious about getting well and ready to put on the work, SPRC is the only choice in Phoenix.

I was a client at Fountain Hills Recovery at the beginning 2025, and I felt compelled to leave a review about my time there. During my stay, I received treatment for Alcohol and actively participated in all components of the residential treatment program, including group therapy, individual therapy, and psychiatric therapy. The staff was extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of taking back control of your life, and their care and kindness was well above what I expected to receive. The home I stayed in was always well stocked with food of your choosing, and the meals that were provided were well balanced and hit high marks from the chef that prepared them daily for us. Besides the great accommodations in place, the treatment I received was highly beneficial and had led me to know reach a 6 month milestone of living a sober and clean life. My daughter is currently here. We are from out of state and sending her somewhere that I had not been able to see or meet the people there was more than scary for her and for me!! All I can say up to this point is that all our fears are gone. It is everything they claim it is online and more. She is being supported in every single way possible. From addressing her addiction, her mental health, physical health, everything. The facility reaches out to me weekly to give me updates on her as well. I have had alot of experience with rehabs and know that it’s rare when you get ALL of these things or that what it claims it is online, isn’t what it is when you get there. I just wanted to let anyone else that is in the position I was about sending your child there sight unseen, to know that you are making an excellent choice in choosing Wolf Creek, they are an amazing place!!

As someone who has had a fair amount of rehabs under my belt. I can honestly say this is by far the best. A very structured program, that institutes all of the fellowships into your daily life. The navigators (bht) went out of there way for me and were an inticle part of my recovery. I’m now over 6 months sober. The longest I’ve been clean in 29 years.

And the 3 months that I was here, I learned a lot about myself. I dealt with trauma, wrote a good buy letter to each and every trauma I ever endured. I dealt with the passing of my father, while I was in the program. The love and support from the staff and the clients, help me to navigate this trying time. I was able to go to outings, alumni events; pool party volleyball speaker meeting. I was taking to a meeting a day. And best of all I was given all the tools that I need to be able to live my life clean and to handle any situation that comes my way without using! I have never been to any detox or recovery center before but unfortunately developed an addiction to 7oh and decision point was one of the first results when I searched online for help. Immediately after putting my info down, Seth called and was incredibly helpful. Helped me schedule a good time for me to make it in there without interfering with work while still giving me enough time to recover.
While I was in there, I met four people currently in detox and all of them had great things to say about this place which helped put me at ease. All of the nurses and BHTs are fantastic as well. Special shout outs to nurse Tim and nurse Carol for taking such great care of me while I was there. They both had great bedside manner and you can tell they genuinely care for their patients. Extra special shoutouts to Brittany, Steven, Matthew, and everyone else who’s name I can’t remember at the moment.
If you’re struggling with anything or have a loved one struggling, I hope this helps ease some anxiety in knowing that you will be in good hands and well cared for during your time there.

With an extremely grateful heart, I highly recommend Decision Point Center. Seth in admissions was fantastic throughout the entire process of seeking a detox/recovery center for my husband, Jon. His patience, guidance and understanding of the process helped assure me this was the best decision for us. The entire staff of medical professionals (shout out to Tim!) were incredible. Jon came out of detox healthy and set up for success in his recovery. We were self-pay and Seth and his team worked wonderfully with us to accomodate our situation in order to make this happen at a very crucial time.
Please don’t hesitate or look elsewhere when looking for a detox center. Decision Point Center is welcoming, comfortable and accommodating! In my husband’s words, “It was awesome! Getting there sucked!” Finally making the choice to go to detox can be scary but I can assure anyone that after 4/5 days of detox your life can be 1000% better!

I came to Crossroads a broken woman….I had lost everything and everybody in my life, and I had just had enough; I couldn’t go on the way I was living. The staff (office, group facilitators, medical, 12 Step leadership, kitchen, et al) was so welcoming and supportive, so very good to all us gals (appx 80). I made great friends there too! I talk to some daily, even now many months later. Crossroads taught me about my disease, taught me how to cope, how to rebuild, how to prevent falling back…..how to hold my head up and live again. I’m completely serious. If you need help, go to Crossroads. Only downside is the food is so good and they give you so much, I gained 13 pounds!!

In Arizona, inpatient addiction treatment takes place in a hospital setting and focuses on 24/7 crisis stabilization under medical supervision. It is often the first step for individuals experiencing acute mental health or substance use crises. In cases involving alcohol, benzodiazepines, or fentanyl, medical detoxification is typically required. During this stage, medication may be necessary and mental health diagnoses often emerge or become clearer. Inpatient treatment is short-term, usually lasting between three to 10 days, and is followed by a step-down to continued care through outpatient counseling or residential programs.
There is frequent confusion between inpatient treatment and residential treatment centers (RTCs) as the terms are sometimes used interchangeably. However, they are distinct levels of care. It’s essential to clearly communicate the services needed when speaking with individuals or loved ones.
RTCs provide 24/7 supervision in a residential, non-hospital setting. These programs include therapeutic and psychoeducational services, meals, and support for basic needs such as hygiene, laundry, and personal care products. RTCs also address co-occurring mental health disorders as well as other behavioral health diagnoses like gambling, sex, eating, and video gaming disorders. Clients receive individual and group therapy, peer support, and are introduced to 12-step programs.
To support holistic recovery, RTCs often offer ancillary services such as recreational activities, yoga, guided exercises, music therapy, and equine therapy. These experiences help clients discover enjoyment without substance use. Many RTCs also offer family support including weekly visitation and monthly family weekends.
Inpatient and RTC programs are available throughout Arizona and are supported by various funding sources including commercial insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare. The admissions department is the first step in determining the most appropriate level of care for each individual.
