The best staff at any program I’ve ever been to (and I’ve been to a bit over my fair share). They actually care, they love you and they truly want to see you succeed. A special shout out to James, for always and I mean ALWAYS being in my corner. A shoutout to Trinity for being my confidant when I felt alone in the beginning. To Peter, who listened to all my bullshit with a smile on his face and some music in the background. The best place to get sober and the best people to ever be around. I had such a great experience here. I've been to alot of rehabs and I cant say the same for most of those. I didn't know if I wanted to come in or even be sober and James and Megan stayed out front with me for a long while, patiently helping me to make the right decision to come in and I am so glad I did. They have such a great team of people and I couldn't thank you guys enough. Shout out to James for always staying late and convincing me to not AMA lol i even decides to stay longer, you can tell he really pours his heart into his job and wants to help. I have been to a multitude of treatment centers in and outside of California, Avedis Recovery is by FAR the most caring, authentic, and helpful place I have ever been to. It is the ONLY place that I was able to stay sober during my entire time and where I was able to find the confidence in myself to stay sober and where I found real growth. They care. Every other treatment center it was very clear that the management and program directors were really only involved for the money. The program director at Avedis is not, he and all other staff GENUINELY CARE!! Usually at other places you never see the director but here you see him almost everyday, he is involved and genuinely cares about people here and their sobriety. With the help of Avedis Recovery I was able to gain a newfound confidence in myself, my family’s trust, my faith in God, and most of all a clear and sober mind. If it wasn’t for Avedis I don’t know where I would be, but now I am almost 8 months sober and am actually happy and enjoying life. I give all the thanks to God and Avedis!

I can’t even put into words how grateful I am for my time at The Lighthouse. From the moment I walked in, I felt safe, cared for, and understood. The staff goes above and beyond. They don’t just do their jobs, they pour their hearts into helping every person who walks through those doors. I truly miss them and consider them family.
The program is amazing and so thoughtfully put together. I was there during Halloween, and the team made sure we still had fun and felt special, as a mother missing Halloween with my children, I truly appreciated this. You can tell they really care about making every day meaningful. The food was delicious, and the kitchen staff put so much love into every meal.
I’m proud and thankful to call myself a Lighthouse alumni. This place completely changed my life, and I’ll forever be grateful for the people I met and the support I received.

The Lighthouse Treatment Center completely changed my life. The program itself is amazing, but what really makes it special are the people. I was just another drug addict going in and out of rehabs and running the streets. A playboy always chasing the next fix. I landed in the care of Dr. Marshall at Decicato. I remember sitting in the room for my first group meeting and Dr. Marshall coming in to lead the group. He told his story and It gave me chills through my body. I was treated kindly coming into dedicato had a couple rough steps moving forward at first but the team at Dedicato helped me move forward any anxiety and fear was stripped from me spending more and more time there, felt very welcomed and the staff was very welcoming. Everyone at Dedicato including the patients and staff all related to alot things I experienced in life and gave me the direction to keep me on a straight path. The one thing that I will carry with me throughout this entire process is that there is more things to life on the exterior then what we feel like doing on the interior. The highlight of my time here was all the activities and groups I would attend climbing mountains physical and mental, also working out activities in the gym they have learning how to balance my mind during the hardships where I wanted to give up but learned to not let myself break during that and the zoom meetings with Charles having stand of jokes as well as being serious on why I’m here, point is come here if your dying to see a light and hope and to feel understood as a person and be accepted for themselves.

Dedicato saved my life and the life of my unborn son... Because of the work and commitment they provided me i was able to obtain custody of all 3 of my kids. Today I am clean and sober and loving life. I never imagined my life would ever be like this. I am so grateful for the Marshalls when I was going through my toughest times they were there for me. They gave me hope. Today I use the tools I learned in my everyday life. My kids are happy and we finally have a home. Dr Marshall taught me a lot and by doing so I was able to get a job as an outreach representative for a community health center. Who would of thought an addict like me would be where I am today. Coming into a program like this is terrifying. Just making the call takes a ton of courage and effort. The program is challenging in all the right ways: Taking you out of your comfort zone to improve your self worth, massive amounts of material to learn and put into practice, and learning patience. Since coming to this program almost 8 years ago coming this September 2025, I've been very much involved with my sobriety. I've asked my counselor Henry for lots of help. In making myself stronger internally, mentally and spiritually. I have become a much better person. My relationships with my daughter and grandchildren, also co-workers & just friends in general have really grown for the better. The BAART PROGRAM has really helped me.I can go on and on. I came to La Fuente for the sober living in early Feb of 2011, directly from a 6 day detox. I didn’t know anything about sobriety or treatment, or even interacting w many people at that point, I stayed for 15 months, & I still have my sober date from Jan of 2011. This was my third time through rehab and found it the best, well run and most effective treatment I’ve been through. Maria and staff have a well structured program, with engaging assignments that are on-point. I am best prepared to avoid relapse. I would recommend Cornerstone to any addict serious about getting sober!

This place was a literal gift from god. I am beyond thankful for the program as a whole but also the staff like hip-hop Darrel and Andy also nurse mike made a huge impact on my sobriety. I could not have asked for a better program and a special thank you to miss maria for having my back and making sure I had enough packets lol I would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone who wants to be sober forever. First off I would like to thank Susan (hopefully spelling her name correctly) who was the main manager, there when I got there 10 years ago
- because if it literally wasn't for her, I would possibly still be out in the streets or worse.
idk if she knows this but she literally changed my life that day.
I came at a bad time that day of intake and I wouldn't have been able to dose then because of me coming so late from taking 3 buses to get there, So I was basically going to "check out" and go back to the streets to my addiction and possibly never come back again after I realized I wasn't going to be able to dose then.
To make a long story short - I was able to go to the El Monte Clinic that day and dose there and come back to the Pasadena clinic
So I'm forever thankful to Susan for that day!also for all the chances you gave me! Thank you Susan once again 🙏 🙏 🙏

I went through IVRS in May of 2020 and I was a complete mess. Drugs and alcohol were how I coped with the emotional distress I had been long experiencing and during my time at IVRS the staff, the structure, and the atmosphere provided me with an atmosphere that I could make a lasting change. Today, I am not just sober; I am at happy & at peace. I don't miss the days I used to abuse drugs/alcohol and that is an absolute miracle. I am so grateful for the staff that dedicated their lives and careers to being of service to those struggling with addiction. I hope that the staff knows how much of a difference that they are making in the lives of those that enter treatment.

I would like to start of by saying that GRAND VIEW FOUNDATION is home away from home. Ms.Shelly and the staff at GVF are AWESOME! That is an understatement if anything. I showed up to this place with broken dreams and yet another relapse after a 15 month program in Mexico. There was something very profound about this whole environment that is presented here. You just feel welcomed and well tooken care of. The classes are lengthy , but you know what thats what builds character and prepares you to take things serious. This place gave me a foundation to stand on when I needed help. My advocate Herman was really cool to me. He encouraged me and helped me get through the program. The kitchen staff accommodated my dietary allergy to gluten and were awesome about giving me different types of foods. I got on the right meds thanks to my stay here and I honestly now feel like I can do anything. Dr Perch listened to my concerns and adjusted my meds as needed, something a lot of drs don t do, sadly.If you re looking for a good place to feel safe and get stabilized, this is it. You also earn more privileges as you do the program which helps the day go by faster. It s not like most mental hospitals. It s way more progressive.

It’s fine, since going here I went to another rehab in Arizona that was much more intimate and client focused and found that it worked better for me. Westwind is very chaotic, loud and feels like high school which can be hard especially if you get overwhelmed easily like I do. The people who work there are wonderful and they do seem to care, you’ll meet a lot of great peers too but keep in mind how you learn best because it was too much all at once for me, especially while being new at sobriety.

The team at Growth Extended is outstanding. My teenage son attended three days a week for eight weeks, and I saw real progress in how he manages his anxiety. They customized his plan and even helped with school communication. The facility is clean and welcoming, and the extra activities like yoga made a big difference. Highly recommended for any parent.

The Arrow House truly helped not 1, but 2 of my kids heal and come to a place of recovery. Their approach of looking at the family unit versus just the young person in treatment has given me and my family hope and the tools nessesary to rebuild the love and trust that we have for one another. Their entire team, from admissions through administration, through the family and individual therapists, the educational team, and can not count out the amazing Community Mentors and the chef all have supported me and my kiddos on the road to recovery! If you really want to be sober then this place will be a life changing experience for you, they provide everything , for you to heal in all three aspects physically (doctors/nurses on site, most patient detox crew ,nutritious food, a gym , hygiene, clothes, shoes) mentally (on site psychiatrist/therapist, the most humble, caring and knowledgeable staff , they really help you see yourself as a blessing bc we are) spiritually ( based on the 12 step program that has saved millions, they pushed me out of the comfort zone that has been destroying my life and got me to meetings, sponsor and fellowship to be able to grow ) . My mom went to cornerstone to get sober and better herself 8 years ago, and now I am here and have nothing but the utmost respect for all of the staff that helped me get to where I am today. I truly could not have made it this far and could not have been as confident as I am currently in myself and my recovery if it weren't for the time and dedication in which they put in to ensure my stay here went as smooth as possible. The assignments they give are all engaging and make you dive deep interpersonally, spiritually, mentally, and the like to emphasize what you need to grow and work on during your journey to sobriety, and for that I am so thankful. It is a shame to see this place go as Dr. Stone enters his well-deserved retirement, but I am honored to be one of the final clients to have came through this wonder rehabilitation center, I truly feel I have found a community where I belong!
