In my life I have been blessed to meet amazing people who have made an impact on my recovery journey. Drew Roesch is one of those men. He has dedicated his life to helping those in need by meeting them where they are at. He shows compassion and wisdom when speaking to me and I would recommend The Blanchard Institute to anyone whom is in need of life transformation in their recovery. Today can be the day you draw a line in the sand and say I love myself, family and friends enough to stop this disease that is trying to take me out!

For those suffering from addiction, there is hope! Healing is available. When I was struggling with addiction, I tried to deal with it on my own unsuccessfully. But once I reached out for help and surrendered it to God. I was set free! I would recommend The Blanchard Institute for anybody struggling to try to beat addiction by themselves. Reach out. Get help like I did.

I dropped my son off nine months ago at NSR. At that time, I didn’t realize how much of a codependency I had with my son. Even after dropping him off, I tried to stay involved in the day-to-day details which was the very reason I dropped him off in the first place. So i wouldn’t have to stay in the details and could focus on me. My advice is to let the process work. My son is now in a much better place and said this was the best decision he had ever made. I am also in a much better place and the Tuesday night parent calls are a must do for any one that has family in the program. NSR provides more freedom and flexibility in their program that a lot of other places did not. That was a deciding factor when I was initially looking for a place for my son to go. NSR has my vote. 👍

When I found next step recovery I was at my lowest, I had found my bottom. I had my mind made up that suicide was my only way out. Then I found next step, and my second chance at a better, clean and sober life. I've been in and out of rehabs and detoxes my whole life. But this facility was different. I was welcomed like I was family and I had come home. With the love and compassion, not judged, but given a real chance at a better life. I'm currently living in the sober living house, and unlike a lot of places. The houses are very nice, clean, and up to date homes fully furnished. The staff is excellent, and always available to help with anything I need. Today I feel like a better man, a better husband, a better father, and I owe it all to next step recovery.

Been a patient at the VA for many years. Also my family members as well. We have all had exceptional service from all of the care providers. In an atmosphere that can be pretty thankless at times due to each patients needs, wants and desires the staff handles it with professional skills. Cannot say enough about the ER. They are helpful and caring from the moment you walk through the doors until the moment you leave. Our primary care doctors are fantastic given the workload they carry. Even if you have not seen the care provider in a year when you walk in it is just like yesterday you spoke with them. Every place will have it's ups and downs. Good and bad experiences based on the individual needs of others. But, the amount of patients seen here it is amazing how smooth this place operates. For a Veteran it is like going home in a familiar comrade way! Thank you from the heart to each and every caregiver. Always remember if you feel you need just a little more attention contact patient advocacy and watch the wheel start spinning in the right direction. Do keep in mind that each Veteran they see is special in the moment and be patient and kind. They are humans too. Love our VA facility now and will in the future.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about New Season and the amazing people who work there. This facility has played such an important role in my recovery journey and has helped me not only get sober, but stay sober.
From the very beginning, I was treated with compassion, respect, and understanding. The staff truly care about the people they serve, and they never made me feel judged for my past or the struggles I was facing. They helped me see that recovery was possible and gave me the support, guidance, and tools I needed to begin building a better life.
I am so grateful for the role New Season has played in my recovery. I have now been sober since November 29, 2022, and I honestly don’t know where I would be today without the help and support I received there. New Season gave me hope when I needed it most, and I will always be grateful for that.
If you are struggling with addiction and are thinking about getting help, please know that recovery is possible. Taking that first step can be scary, but New Season helped me take mine—and it changed my life. I will forever be thankful to the staff and everyone who has supported me along the way. 💙

She befriended "Will" long before he was willing to seek help. He was never alone in life because she checked on him regularly and gently coaxed him into getting the help that he desperately needed.
Approximately 7 months after reaching out, Will made the decision to better his life by accepting Peggy's offer of help. Once his decision was made, Peggy instantly started moving mountains to get him the help he needed. She was in daily contact with his family offering her advice, supplying helpful contact information, and even talking him through his fears when they became too great and he wanted to run.
As a result of Peggy's unrelenting quest to help Will, he has received a Certificate of Completion from the Midwood Addiction Program where he received counseling, housing, a sense of community, independence, and gradually took control of his life again.
A little over a month after graduating, Will has found employment and is ready to start this new healthy chapter in his life. When asked if he ever talks to Peggy anymore, the answer is "yes! she's full of valuable resources.".
How do you thank someone who has saved the life of someone you thought was lost forever? There is no repayment plan that could ever be enough for this angel on earth. Peggy will always be our angel. She truly has an amazing gift and we are forever in her debt.

Lemme tell you about the housing situation 1st.
I read the good reviews and the horrible and the bad kinda concerned me.
I can tell you the bad was not only exaggerated but most just someone salty and spreading total BS.
There are no rodents and I've never been to a house that had zero bugs not even a fly before I got here, not even my father's house. Ok so these 2 floor some with a upper smoking/ lounge deck are nice nice! 4 bedroom 3 full double sink bathrooms , two with walk-in shower , I bath / shower and a half bath by living room. It's fully stocked with any pans coffee pot anything you need.
The staff are some of the nicest ppl and you absolutely get to know them.
You are treated pretty much how you treat them. Just be kind!
Midwood center was the one I went to and the staff there are always awesome. If you need something just speak up, I've seen ppl come through and expect everyone to be mind readers.
I would list everyone I love at Harmony but I'm horrible with names but there are standouts.
Christine, Crystn (sik). Byron,Lisa, Miss Gail
( Amber always pushing DBT therapy 😬) Bobby, the tech who's name escapes me that calls everyone "Big Dog)
And Lastly but firstly Miss Peggy who is the sweetest person I've ever met and she saved my life just by getting to know me calling my phone to talk to someone else. She had my back and actually drove to Salvation Army and helped me get insurance, talked me into Salvation Army in first place and bought my broke ass two packs of smokes
She is absolutely a gift from God and deserves to be the highest paid at Harmony!
But I'm betting she would do it for free

Asheville, NC | Crest View Recovery Center is a drug rehabilitation facility in Asheville, North Carolina. The programs here include a 90 day rehab program, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization services, and medication assisted treatment (MAT). The center is staffed with qualified mental health professionals, including counselors, therapists and psychiatr | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I would absolutely recommend Crest View to anyone struggling with addiction. I made a choice to go there one year ago and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life.
Today, I'm clean and sober after more than a decade of not being able to break that cycle. It gave me time and a supportive environment for me to try to work on my internal issues and understand the root of my addiction more clearly so that I can address it and overcome it. The incredible staff was absolutely an integral part of that process for me. Their understanding, insight, and incredible compassion gave me the strength and will to take back control of my life.
For those who leave negative reviews making complaints and venting their frustrations, I understand you. I agree the program is not perfect and some aspects may not meet our expectation. But to that exact point, life is not perfect and it rarely meets our expectations either. Those are exactly the challenges in the real world that we must overcome and they are precisely the lessons we need to learn to break free from addiction.
For those willing and open-minded enough to make real changes in their life, recovery is possible and Crest View is a place that can help you get there. The key is you have to want it. Treatment is not a luxury resort, a place to be pampered and catered to...it's not a vacation... it's a time to reflect, a chance to remove distractions and work on overcoming your addiction. If you think that recovery is a plush luxurious experience with every amenity you desire, then book a long stay at the Ritz-Carlton Resort and have the front desk remind you not to use substances while there, but only if it suits your mood that day...
At Crest View, the majority of the staff are recovering addicts as well. That means no matter how bad my day might have been, how much I was struggling, or how terrible I felt, there was never a single moment I could look a staff member in the eyes and say that they don't understand... because they absolutely do.
I am so grateful that I made the decision to go to Crest View out of any other facilities I could have chosen. The staff there, the techs especially, with their warmth and genuine desire to help other addicts, are exactly what makes Crest View unique.

Crestview is a great place! If you come here and do exactly what you’re supposed to do then the stay will be amazing. By doing what you’re supposed to do I mean going to group on time, taking your meds on time, be friendly to clients and staff, have patience with staff when you’re not getting something as soon as you want it. There’s always more clients than staff so patience is key. Rehab is not a vacation. Rehab is meant to be hard and test you just like real life would. Accept responsibility where you are wrong and take accountability for your actions. We put ourselves in rehab, rehab did not call us. I see these bad reviews on here and it seems like it’s just clients who didn’t get there way and decided to complain on here about it. The staff at Crestview works hard to make sure all clients needs are taken care of but there are a lot of clients who just can’t seemed to be pleased. Don’t lie to staff or they will catch you. Clients would be caught in lies and still say they weren’t lying. Overall 10/10!! If you want to be sober and have a better life, come to Crestview.

Crestview is the best! I came here three years ago after completing their program in PA and it was the best experience. Staff are welcoming and care about your well being, not just when you are in their program. If I could give 10 stars I would

This is the BEST clinic I’ve ever experienced. The staff who run this place are hands down the most genuinely caring and supportive people who put in work behind the scenes to improve the lives of the clients. From the check in desk, to the nurses and counselors, they are extremely professional, yet feel like family. Gabby Harkey, the director and a counselor, is someone I feel comfortable with who I genuinely wish could be my friend. She’s fought hard for us to be able to have more takehomes and for more people to have access to treatment around WNC and the work she puts in behind the scenes has noticeably helped my day to day life. Rhi, Dr Gilpin, and every single person I’ve encountered here is kind, relatable, laid back AND professional all at the same time. They’ve helped me get to a point where the clinic doesn’t dominate my life like it used to in the past, and I’m eternally grateful to each and every one of them for what they have done for my family. I’d recommend this place to anyone no matter where you are on your recovery journey, because the staff is prepared to meet you where you are and offer you assistance and resources to be your best self. My overall quality of life has improved since going here and I owe it all to them. It’s difficult to convey my gratitude in words, but thank you Gabby & team for existing as you do.

My name is Kelly Bowling, and I have three years clean and sober. My recovery journey started with October Road when I entered their PHP program, which at the time was called the River House.
One thing I’ve learned in recovery is that many treatment programs struggle with staffing, and people in early recovery often don’t have positive examples to look up to. That was not my experience here—far from it. I was surrounded by staff who genuinely cared and demonstrated what recovery, professionalism, and service look like every day.
The BHTs, clinicians, counselors, and support staff created an environment that was both structured and supportive. Justin, Alex, Chuck, and Gray made a lasting impact on me. They treated us with dignity, held us accountable, and encouraged us to believe that a better life was possible.
The community was just as important. The groups were meaningful, the other clients became a source of support, and the overall culture helped me build a strong foundation for recovery. During my time there, I served as the cook for my house and even became the barber for many of the clients. We built healthy relationships, supported one another, and enjoyed simple things like going to the river after clinical days.
I continued my journey with October Road through IOP and early recovery services. Even today, I still use October Road for my medical needs. I also return from time to time to speak with clients and share my experience, strength, and hope.
Today, I serve in a leadership role in recovery and reentry services with a community-based organization called Operation Gateway. The foundation for the work I do today was built at October Road. The lessons, support, and examples I received there helped shape the person and professional I have become.
I have a great deal of love and respect for everyone involved with this organization. They were part of the beginning of a life-changing journey, and I will always be grateful for the role they played in my recovery.
