Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Outpatient rehabs offer a wide variety of services and levels of care to align with clients' unique and evolving needs. Outpatient care is best suited for clients who are stable and for those who wish to remain at home while receiving treatment. Clients typically receive addiction counseling and recovery-focused life skills training, including participating in evening, night, and weekend sessions to accommodate clients' schedules. Clients at an increased relapse risk may receive more frequent and intensive treatment.

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

Clients engaged in a rehab aftercare program have completed active addiction treatment and are receiving services designed to promote their sustained sobriety. Drug rehab aftercare typically encompasses a wide variety of medical, mental health, and social services meant to facilitate clients' reintegration into their home, workplace, and community. Clients typically collaborate with their case manager and/or recovery team to identify and access the services they need, often including peer coaching, career counseling, and care referrals.

Addiction recovery based on a 12 step program model is rooted in peer support and spiritual development. Participants regularly attend 12 step meetings, which are free, anonymous, peer-led, and available throughout the day and night in most communities. Clients' recovery is achieved progressively as they work through the 12 steps, which teach them to understand and address the root causes of their addiction, become accountable for their choices, and relinquish control over that which cannot be changed.

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal. The length of stay at the detoxification program is determined according to the specific needs of the patient.

Treatments

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Colorado offers dual-diagnosis addiction treatment programs that encompass various levels of care to meet your individual needs, including medical detox, outpatient, inpatient, and partial hospitalization programs for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. These dual-diagnosis rehab programs incorporate evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to successfully address substance use disorders and co-occurring diagnoses.

With residential addiction treatment, you live in a rehab facility while receiving mental health services. Rehabs offer 24/7 care provided by clinical and mental health staff. A typical inpatient program lasts 28-30 days, but some last for several months. Standard mental health services include group and individual counseling, with addiction and relapse prevention education. Amenities, like recreational offerings, vary by facility.

Professional services are often necessary to recover from addiction. Drug rehab in Colorado provides the expert services needed to address the complex issues of addiction and help individuals start their recovery journey.

Alcoholism is defined as a physical dependence on alcohol. In this state, the body experiences withdrawal symptoms in the absence of alcohol. Over time, a person with alcohol use disorder also must drink greater amounts of alcohol to achieve the same effects. To overcome alcohol use disorder, alcohol rehab in Colorado is usually necessary, a process which includes supervised medical detox. This is followed by intensive rehab, then a maintenance program that may include 12-step support.

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.

Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

During trauma therapy, you explore the impact that a traumatic event has had on your life. Your therapist can help you develop strategies to manage the emotional and physical symptoms while improving emotional regulation. This improves your overall quality of life.

The main principle of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in Colorado is that substance use disorders are based on faulty thinking and behavior patterns. The goal of this treatment is to help the individual learn better ways of coping with challenges, which will lead to changes in thinking and behavior.

Life skills are traits you need to be successful during recovery, such as managing stress and interpersonal relationships. During rehab treatment in Colorado, you and your therapist will identify any skills that need to be developed and work on methods to strengthen them.

Therapists who employ motivational interview techniques seek to draw out the client's ideas about change and allow them to draw their own conclusions about the need for change. This method is often effective for clients who feel unsure about their ability to change or the need for change.

During family therapy sessions, family members in Colorado work with therapists to understand addiction as a disease that has affected the entire family. This approach fosters empathy and reduces blame on any one member. Promoting this collective effort helps to support the recovery process.

Incompetent staff

So far has lost my daughter twice. The first time when she went to the hospital, was discharged, and it took them 3 hours to get her back and not by them. She ended up having to do it herself. All the while they're telling me her mom that they don't know where she's at. She' ... Read More

Disgusting. The clientele farted openly in front of my wife and made her very uncomfortable. The staff tried to reassure her that they "usually step in before it gets physical." If this is your last resort I hope you get the help you need, otherwise try to find somewhere a lot more conducive to healing. It's dirty, in all senses of the word.

If you are seriously focused on getting sober. This place is definitely an eye opener for what it be like going to mediocre of rehabilitation centers. The head of the staff members act more superiority as if you are nothing. Some of the members have been caring but the ones you need in your corner. Negative behavior and its alarming. They refused to give my medication 3x and I was there for like 48 hours. I rather suffer at home then what I went through. Please look into your decision if this center has all your check offs!!! Plus though u can have a service animal

Response from the owner
Thank you for telling us about this. How we handle medications, and treating every person in our care with dignity, are responsibilities we hold ourselves to, Out of respect for privacy laws we can’t discuss any individual’s experience publicly. Please call us at 303.261.1960 and ask for our quality and compliance officer so we can look into this directly.

First of all- I completed the program, received no write ups, and engaged in my recovery. Shout out to my addiction councilor, Josh. He was new when I attended there, and really cares about the patients. A few of the staff really care too. Beau would check on me almost daily. However, Terrance, or Clarence, the director seemed to care very little. I was in “B pod” and he spent very little time there. Accept one time to give a speeach about how he really cares and he could be making the same money doing something else… sorry, rundown facility. No paintings on the walls, one phone call a week, the “curriculum “ was a joke. This is not treatment. I hate this place and would never recommend anyone ever come here. Staff was fired for drinking on the job, being derogatory towards women (Fredo) screaming at us…. Just awful. Never enough to eat..

Response from the owner

Felt like low security jail at times, I had a roommate problem that staff refused to fix and he ended up punching me in the mouth, I held him down as I was much stronger and yelled for help.. it was patients who showed up first. DO NOT COME HERE
