DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE IF YOU GENUINELY CARE FOR THEIR MENTAL HEALTH Terrible discrimination against me when I spent my time there, I was overly controlled so much I had to ask when to speak, the staff is majority young adults 20-late 30s and they bring vapes in (vape in hoodie sleeves to be secretive) , iPads to watch personal shows and a large amount of outside food (ate in front of other children) when children are to eat only a select things they DO NOT know how to handle disturbed or ill children and half of them haven’t even lived long enough to have a child and I would just like to add they lied about my medical expenses being covered under their care and when they brought me to the hospital I got and INSANELY LARGE medical bill after they explained it would be covered under their insurance policy’s for children and I’m still paying off the bill to this day from how expensive my cat scan was please I’m begging you do not trust these people (however they are good in outpatient therapy)

Addiction Treatments

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

When you choose drug rehab in New York, you'll participate in a variety of treatments that are designed to help you live a drug-free lifestyle. Common methods of treatment include group, individual, and family counseling, medication management, nutrition, exercise, and management of co-occurring mental health disorders.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.
