Voluntary or court ordered adults benefit from evidence based therapies, homeless | Treatments Programs Payment Options | As someone who was terribly frightened of starting on the path to mental health recovery, Comcare made it very easy. The workers were patient with my inexperience and my intake was a breeze.
My greatest fear was that I'd be treated as an attention-seeker, or foolish for having done my research. Instead, my intake practitioner was thoughtful and receptive, and agreed with my basic coverage of things; though I am not a skeptic of therapy, it was not what I needed. Referral to a medication consultation was quick and painless, as was that appointment.
Above all, everything has been immensely affordable -- and more importantly, Comcare doesn't pressure you to cough up. I've never once been made to pay in office, or even asked to. I get my bill in the mail, and pay when I am able.

Wichita Detox felt like the reset button I didn’t know I needed. The whole vibe there was calm but no-nonsense — they didn’t sugarcoat things, but they weren’t harsh either. The detox part was rough (obviously), but the staff kept it manageable and kept checking on me like clockwork. What hit different was how real they were. No judgment, just help. They got routines in place that keep your mind busy and off cravings, and honestly, I left there clearer than I’d been in years. If you’re ready to shake off the mess and start over, they’re solid.

Wichita, KS | Steinhause Counseling is a drug and alcohol rehab located in Wichita, Kansas. They provide outpatient addiction treatment and co-occurring disorder treatment. Addiction-related services provided at this location include outpatient addiction treatment, co-occurring mental health care, and smoking cessation classes. This facility provides outpatient | Treatments Programs Payment Options | The staff was required to write fake reviews so that mine is moved to the bottom .
Look at the date of the last reviews . Very bad place for employees mental health and the ethical care of vulnerable children.
Good place for felons to take mandatory court appointments to address being an abuser .
This facility demonstrates serious concerns regarding the safety and well-being of children, particularly in its practice of housing minors alongside individuals convicted of violent felonies.
Observations have been made on multiple occasions during Saturday drive-throughs, where vehicles have nearly collided with children in the vicinity. This raises significant safety issues that warrant immediate investigation by the Oklahoma Department of Health Care Administration (OHCA) and the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BCBA).
The treatment plans currently in use appear outdated and do not align with the children's actual skill levels. There seems to be a troubling tendency to assign low-level objectives to prolong treatment durations, potentially compromising the quality of care provided.
Moreover, the staff includes individuals who lack the necessary credentials and do not exhibit a sufficient understanding of autism, which undermines the ethical treatment of clients. The clinical director, despite presenting a cordial demeanor, has exhibited negligence that is concerning, especially regarding unreported instances of abuse and trauma as well as failed Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Especially with minority groups that cannot advocate for themselves sufficiently.
There are also unsettling dynamics between the clinical director and certain employees that suggest a lack of professional boundaries. It is apparent that her role serves primarily as a buffer for the clinic's owner, rather than being driven by a genuine commitment to the welfare of children with autism.
The owner herself displays troubling behavior, which may indicate past struggles with substance abuse, now seemingly manifesting in jitteriness and erratic speech. While she articulates a desire to serve the community, her actions often contradict this narrative, leading to confusion and mistrust.
The facility experiences high employee turnover, likely as a means to obscure unethical practices. Reports of children falling ill upon returning due to mold and asbestos exposure raise alarm about the physical environment of the clinic.
It is crucial for advocates to investigate the experiences of children at this facility, as many appear to be suffering due to the negligence and unethical practices in place. This environment not only jeopardizes their health but also takes advantage of families already facing significant stress.
In summary, this facility, despite its outward appearance of care, is fraught with issues of selfishness and a lack of accountability. It is imperative that those responsible for the welfare of these children are held accountable for their actions, both ethically and legally.

At the age of 2.5 years, my son Adam was showing signs of autism, such as a lack of eye contact, inability to speak (not even a word), and difficulty interacting with us. As new parents, this was incredibly challenging and confusing, leaving us unsure of what to do. My wife heard about IBH from a friend who praised the amazing work they do with autistic kids. We decided to contact IBH, and the rest is history. Thanks to the genuine care, competency, and quality services provided by the IBH organization, Adam has learned how to make eye contact, speak, and ask for what he needs. IBH has been instrumental in our child's journey towards independence. I can't imagine how different his story might have been if we had chosen the wrong center. We recently moved from Oklahoma City to Raleigh, North Carolina. We have been missing IBH's special touch that played a crucial role in our son's progress. No therapy center here in North Carolina has been able to match the level of care and service we received from IBH in Oklahoma City. If you are in the Oklahoma City area, consider yourself very fortunate. Do your little angel a huge service and enroll them at IBH. I feel it's my moral duty to share our experience and help other families who might be in the same position we were before discovering this amazing center.

IBH was a godsend and continues to be. My teenager was dx ADD, ODD and OCD. An IBH counselor came to our home weekly during the most difficult time in my life. When my son became suicidal, it was the rep that helped me get him into acute care, when every facility wouldn’t take my calls. That week stay changed everything for us. My son is now a college student. I don’t know how we would have survived without IBH.
5 years later, the rep stays in touch with my family and spent 3 hours on a call (unpaid) just to check in with my youngest. After her conversation she let me know she agrees with the steps I’m taking to get him help.
Our life has not been easy or perfect. It’s been really hard balancing a career, single parenthood and single parent kids - you know unruly and defiant. But it’s this one person that gives me the comfort of knowing, when I’m drowning, she’ll be there.
Thanks IBH for always being there… I miss our weekly sessions and look forward to the trip to Italy when we get through this last one. For as you always smiled and said… this too shall pass.

Center for Human Development provides online directory services fo | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Avoid this place if you are serious about getting sober. I unfortunately stumbled on this place in postpartum and started on the outpatient side with a counselor named Kay Sampson. The thing about Kay is, she never really taught me anything. Other than, the trauma behind me- I needed to stop looking back at. Said trauma being my father’s suicide and a mother who despises me so financially shuts me up. That’s all we got to because my DOC was 7OH, which is just now being pulled from shelves. I struggled getting sober, but thanks to outside therapy and my mentor I went from 2,000 to 55 MGs detected in my urine over a month. Why’s this relevant? Well, Kay became worthless at her job AND spiteful because apparently holding an establishment that exists to help people achieve sobriety and not return- prides themselves and brags about how many clients are married or screwed workers. The other way you’re considered cool is becoming a regular. Apparently people brag on how many times they’ve been inpatient and then outpatient only to return. Yet, here I was in Kay’s office and she has my drug test results which only pulled 7OH as an illicit drug and the level and she started calling other places to pawn me off, then told me several times “I just don’t know how to help you” now that I’ve achieved a good chunk of sobriety under me- I’m still speechless to what volumes that speaks to what kind of counselor she is.
I ended up going impatient thinking perhaps that was the answer. I discharged not even 24 hours upon arrival. The techs and Kay told me I was just withdrawing but the truth was- Kay didn’t mention how low my levels were and I had hit ZERO and no illicit drugs by the time I arrived at that grimey place. There are jails and prisons that have better living conditions.
I’m proud to say the day after I left, I walked into Doolittle and Herrington and not only do they feed every single group they have so no one goes hungry or without snacks- more importantly their counselors truly want to be there and don’t read off a Google worksheet. The place has been expanded and is beautiful and clean. My counselor is teaching me cognitive skills. Behavior skills that have led to ongoing sobriety, made me a better mother and also brought a sense of peace into my life. He constantly encourages me, even in my bad times and when he heard about Kays advice… well it didn’t take him by surprise. Most people there know exactly the downlow at Mirror.

Kansas is ranked 17th nationwide in terms of addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $56,618.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Kansas vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
