Dr Hon and Yahara are wonderful as well as the rest of the staff. I enjoyed my hospital stay here as much as one can, given the circumstances 10/10. Food is also not bad and can confirm they’re working on renovations

Was here multiple times for psych and once for alcoholism. I am above middle class, have a degree, and just have bipolar disorder from genetics. The people complaining don’t know how good it is compared to other facilities. The place is clean, the food is great, and the staff is amazing. Please remember the people reviewing this place have issues and can be handful. Most people who have problems at places like this, unless it is filthy, create their own problems.

One of the best facilities I have ever stayed at. Staff is awesome. The best doctors. If I ever have to make a choice to go into a inpatient facility this is the number one choice I would recommend and I've been to 17 different facilities in my life

Located in Moundridge, Kansas, Valley Hope of Moundridge has set its sights on helping people who are distressed under the grip of alcohol and drug addiction. They have several locations around the country, but here we’ll be focusing on this Kansas location, which offers residential treatment. This means that you’ll be receiving round-the-clock
Valley Hope of Moundridge/Wichita changed my life. I have been twice and nothing I have ever done in my life could have been more life changing. The staff including my counselors, chaplains, medical teams, administrative and other staff (to many to mention but equally part of the experience) literally gave me the tools that saved my life. I would highly recommend Valley Hope to anyone that has battled addiction/alcoholism in their life. They will provide the tools to save you, your family and potentially your job and not to mention everyone you encounter in your life. I had to walk through the doors and after that all the necessary tools are not only available but the support level to not give up is without question put together in a way that allowed me to not be in a state of mind that I was at the point of giving up on living. If you or anyone you know needs or considers residential or various levels of out patient help Valley Hope is the best you will ever find. I know that words can't truly express how the entire process that Valley Hope has put together will give you a life that you never dreamed possible as an addict or alcoholic. Once again if you are considering addiction or alcoholism treatment look no further than Valley Hope.

This place saved my life. The counselors and staff are amazing especially Dr. Phill and Erika they are 2 of the biggest impacts on my life that I have while I was there. I went into treatment planning to use as soon as I got out and Erika was my counselor and she was able to help me open my eyes and see all the underlying problems and trauma that was causing me to use and feel the way I was, and Dr. Phill teaches in such an amazing manner that everything is absorbed and I stayed completely engaged the entire time. Everyone there is so caring and supportive of you and the residents end up becoming family or atleast the ones I was in there with did for me, we are all still in contact and help eachother stay accountable and help eachother through anything we are going through. So if ur contemplating treatment this place is the best place in Kansas to go oh and the foods good too I never ate a meal I didn't enjoy the entire time I was there.

No place is perfect. I have been going here for 12 months now and I have been clean for 11months. It tooke a month to get off everything, but I have. It's been wonderful, my family is shocked and so happy how well I am doing. My kids are starting to trust me again. Everyone says I am starting to at like the old me that they haven't seen in a long time. I wish someone would have told me about this sooner. I have had some issues with the drug screens coming back positive 3 times when I have been clean and was not using. One of them got dropped because the confirmation came back negative, so that was great but the other 2 was contaminated because I haven't used one thing since 6/19/23. This was hard to deal with because How can u fix a drug screen that comes back dirty when u are clean..so I did lose my take homes for a month which sucked. But you know what It's a hell of a lot better then where I was before. I love who I am now I am working really hard on my recovery and just gotta keep doing the right thing even when things don't go ur way. If you want a change it is so able and this place has really saved my life and my relationship with my kids, and family.

Man, Wichita Detox was just what I needed. I came in broken, sick, and honestly scared outta my mind. But from the first night, they took care of me like I mattered . The detox part wasn’t easy, but they made sure I was safe and looked after. The staff here don’t judge you. They get it. Real talk, they helped me believe in myself again 🙏. If you’re tryin’ to get clean and want folks who actually care, this is it .

Wichita Detox felt like the reset button I didn’t know I needed. The whole vibe there was calm but no-nonsense — they didn’t sugarcoat things, but they weren’t harsh either. The detox part was rough (obviously), but the staff kept it manageable and kept checking on me like clockwork. What hit different was how real they were. No judgment, just help. They got routines in place that keep your mind busy and off cravings, and honestly, I left there clearer than I’d been in years. If you’re ready to shake off the mess and start over, they’re solid.

Wichita Detox is that spot where everything finally slows down, and you can breathe for a sec. If you’ve been running wild, using just to feel normal, this place helps you hit pause and get your mind and body right. Detox isn’t pretty, but they make it as smooth as it can get — no cold stares, no shady energy, just real people who care. They don’t just clean you up and send you packing. Wichita Detox helps you figure out what’s next, whether it’s rehab, therapy, or just not crashing again. It’s lowkey, supportive, and way more personal than you’d expect. If you’re ready to bounce back, this is where the bounce starts.

I am 5 starring this for treatment purposes only. Unfortunately they weren't able to help me cause meetings made me think of drugs more and intensely. However there were a lot of successful recovering addicts whom the program worked well for. I cant 2 star it because I didn't get much out of it cause thats my issue. I was able to become a recovering addict with 5 year clean eventually tho.

Medication was discussed but never pushed. Every therapist I came into contact with seemed genuinely interested in helping me even when things got complicated with my lack of insurance and on multiple occasions I witnessed the staff going out of their way to help others in the programs with me. It was very much a tough love facility, which is the only way to get through to me. I didn't have any problems personally with the staff (other than my big personality clashing with staff's big personalities at times), they were all very nice to me. It always looked so delicious and had huge helpings. I like this facility out of all other 7 times I've been elsewhere, because it is a dual diagnosis. I'm giving South Central Mental Health in El Dorado a 4 star rating because there's always room for improvement. I appreciate my old therapist (for privacy reasons I will not State who that person is) He was very polite. A gentleman. Had a very caring nature. I appreciate his willingness to help me. I also appreciate him being skeptical when I wasn't being honest with him. I appreciate him allowing me to rethink the whole moving in with my dad discussion because it would have been bad. Towards the end I needed a change because I went through personality changes. I felt that my therapist then did not recognize me anymore because I changed after being in state custody. I appreciate the receptionists for always making me laugh and giving me candy at the time and a rubber stress ball. Very kind. Thank you!

Everything was clean, calm, and way more chill than I expected 🚿.The people here actually listen . They don’t just throw advice at you—they talk with you, not at you. The groups helped me open up, and the one-on-one talks really hit deep . I’m leaving stronger, clearer, and finally hopeful again

Sober Living felt like more than just a treatment center — it felt like a reset button on life. The staff was chill but totally on point, and they made sure everyone felt seen, not just processed. From day one, it was all about rebuilding without judgment. What stood out most was the community. Everyone was rooting for each other, and that energy was contagious. Whether it was group sessions, quiet mornings, or late-night talks, it all felt real. I walked in broken and walked out with a new mindset. Five stars, no doubt.

It’s not just a place to crash — it’s a community that keeps you on track when the cravings hit hard and life tries to throw you off. They get that staying clean ain’t easy, so they provide the support, structure, and good vibes you need to keep grinding. No fake smiles or tough love nonsense — just people who’ve been there and know how to help you stay steady. Whether it’s group talks, one-on-one check-ins, or just having a safe spot to land, Sober Living helps you build a new life that actually sticks. Five stars for anyone ready to keep moving forward.
