God Bless Eamonn, the owner, he does his best to help a growing demographic of men who have drug and alcohol addictions. The clientele there are good people just trying to recover and get their lives back together. There's more structure than some houses-and less structure than others. It's all what you put into it, and many men have had full and complete recoveries, and lasting sobriety by finding/staying at the Association for Sober Living in North Attleboro. Great comradery and opportunity to develop new friendships here-with other men who are struggling also. If you put in the time and effort, you too can discover a new way of living CLEAN and SOBER. When I came to Paramount, I felt I couldn’t trust anyone and had no belief I could be in recovery. This program and their staff helped me get through this. By offering a safe place to work on solid therapy and to better understand myself, I was able to gain confidence in my ability to be in recovery for life! Another highlight is the fact that paramount provides a worry free environment. This allows me to truly focus on my recovery work. There's a man named Joey that works there and he is just the light of the building. He is so nice and has an amazing heart and he's genuine not doing it bc it's his job. Joey please never leave because the light in that building will dim very dark. You're the light of the place Joey. I came to Bedrock on 28 April 2025 after struggling with addiction and alcohol abuse for many years. It was my third recovery. I didn’t have much hope that this one would work. I arrived. high sick and with a hangover. The intake process was simple enough and as soon as I got to the detox unit nurse Linda gave me medication to help with the detox. I was in detox for six days. it was bearable. Not enjoyable but bearable. After six days, I moved upstairs into a beautiful room. I shared a bathroom with two other girls and it was no problem. I stayed there for a total of 30 days. Those 30 days completely changed my life. At first, I didn’t believe in and didn’t trust my counselors or me. But with every day, my mind got clearer and some of what they said made sense. The medication’s helped. I’m not sure when or how but I started following the program and started doing the work and I got better. My counselor Jack was always available and I actually Started listening to him. I started trusting him.I started paying attention in group. I didn’t like what I heard -that this is lifelong and that I’ll have to do the hard work of recovery every day. But it got a little easier with every day and I started feeling better about life, about me , About a sober life. I made friends with some of the people in my group and found that I wasn’t alone with my pain, my doubts my disease. Playing ping-pong became a highlight of my days and painting became a place of peace for me. I had never painted before. I slept better and I woke up feeling good instead of guilty and ashamed. The cravings were manageable.. I cannot say enough about the techs at Bedrock. They were always available and went above and beyond to help us through difficult times and they also shared our successes with us. For real. The nurses were professional and supportive. My counselor Jack, and counselor math gave me concrete steps to follow to work my way out of a lifelong struggle. I followed those steps. Stacy and Nicole did fun activities with us and having fun sober was a new thing for me. They were wonderful. Arranging for my aftercare was not easy, but it got done. When I left after 36 days sober I started a PHP program the day after discharge. Now I’m in an IOP program once a week and I have 181 days sober and clean. Life is pretty damn beautiful. My marriage is better than it has ever been . The relationship with my children has been restored. I’m on step five and have a Sponsor in AA. I have a home group on Tuesday evenings and I look forward seeing them. The recovery work has become a natural part of my life. I live in a house now instead of a camper, and my stomach problems and headaches are gone. Bedrock saved my life my soul, my mind and I feel healthier than I have in decades. Been on liquid handcuffs for 3+ years finally starting to decrease my dose, this place saved my life they’re awesome and don’t treat you like an addict. My only complaint is they should make it easier for take homes. I don’t understand why they don’t give everyone 1 weeks worth and if the patient messes up then take them off. I feel like if I git take homes right away I could have winged myself off. Because yes Dr’s know a lot and a lot more than me but I know for a fact I know my body better than any doctor. My first experience at this hospital. I went in for the company mandated flu shot. I don’t do well with needles. I looked at the wrong time and these two lovely nurses caught me before passing out. They spent over a half hour with me. Constantly reassessing vitals, got some sugar in me. Elevated my legs to help with blood flow. They kept me laughing with a good sense of humor. It was great action and reactions.

I’ve been here for 15 plus years and my counselor Paul goes above and beyond for his patients. Most of the staff has been here for years and they’re great. If you follow the rules and keep your head down, mind your buisness you’ll have no issues with this place… some people have complaints but those are usually the people who do whatever they want and tend to forget how lucky we are to have this place. The photos aren’t from this clinic. I don’t know what clinic those are from. It’s a clean place though and constantly updated.

I agree with the other commentor. There is no private dosing and This is not the interior of the Brockton CTC!!!not even close!!! This place looks 4-5 times larger and much more modern. The only picture that is accurate is the picture of the outside of the building!!!

Before this program, I was a broken, shell of a person. Five months later, I’ve got relationships with friends and family back. I have ambition, purpose, and I’m hopeful for the future. Between all of the therapists & case managers like Bri and JP, the staff at Ocean State actually cares. In comparison, no other program even comes close. If you’re on the fence about choosing a program or taking that first step to reach out for help, call Ocean State. I guarantee you won’t regret it.
EDIT: I was hired here shortly after completing the program and my opinion of this place has only gotten better since starting to work here almost a year ago.

I thoroughly appreciate and feel safe at Brown. Formerly St. Anne's hospital. One provider that has made an impact on me in terms of trust is Dr. Old. I also was cared for by two other e.r. doctors last week that were exceptional. But I wanted to specifically highlight Dr. Old and being in his care yesterday. Can't say enough good things about this hospital. I was on their 3rd floor for alcohol withdrawal. I expected the usual judgements/punishments I got in the past.
Not this hospital. Within 10 minutes of arriving, the ER nurse and doctor made it clear that they were going to get me out of pain, and did just that. The doctor actually patted me on the knee when he told me I was going to be alright. I think I cried.
On the cardiac floor the nurses were unbelievable! Kind, caring, and attentive. I can't say enough regarding their professionalism and bedside manner. Thank you to all of you.
They didn't stop there. I have sleep apnea, so every time I fell asleep my Sats would drop. So they sent in respiratory. I argued with the guy about CPAPS ending up on the floor every night. He told me the trick to the CPAP was to keep trying otherwise you die. Last night I got 4 1/2 hours with only 4 EPH and woke up feeling 10 years younger. Keep trying.
The Chaplin and Nuns came to my room to hear my confession and then offer me communion. They also offered some solid advice.
I had a situation occur during a procedure where the IV infiltrated. Looking back, the same spot where the IV was placed also infiltrated during a previous surgery. Just a bad vein. I watched a nurse place another IV in less than 20 seconds. She put that into a distal location, on a dehydrated body!
In summary, I entered this hospital half dead and walked out physically, mentally, and spiritually improved. When that happens you know you have been to a great hospital.

This was my first time at this hospital and I had to go through the ER. I spent nearly 8 hours there and I have to say that every staff member that I encountered treated me wonderfully. Liam and Dava during triage, Dr. Fox, Maya the PA… She was a godsend… As were Liz and Kathleen in the MRI unit. I am a retired nurse anesthetist and I always prided myself in how I treated all of my patients. It is nice to know that in these crazy times there are still multiple healthcare providers out there dedicated to giving excellent patient care.

Went here a few years back. During Covid, wild crowd, the intensity of the whole world to me was making me sick.
