Social recovery center. Man.. my life before social recovery center was pure madness , no hope and lost. I was refered to social recovery center by the rehab I was in, I didn’t know what IOP was , I just knew I needed something to guide me in the right direction. Once I walked in those doors , the smiles followed by a warm welcoming hit me. It was all so new to me. The information I’ve learned about myself from the counselors and what I have to deal with is life saving. Once I heard that information , I couldn’t unknow it. The other stories , struggles or whatever that I heard really stuck with me. The way I’ve identified and realized , damn they have it worse. It feels good to be around people that understand my struggle. The support I’ve recived from my counselors and peers were more support than I’ve ever recived from anyone. Rolling Hills Recovery Center is the best! A loved one went there and had a great experience. From yoga to music therapy, they offer so many programs for those in recovery that go beyond other rehabs. They even have equine therapy at a farm nearby. Bobby, the Director of Client Care Services, was a gem and really cares about his clients. Highly recommend.

The great outweigh the frustrations.
The staff in the building are capable, competent, compassionate, patient, and truly wonderful! They helped me unlock so much in my recovery, and I left my 30 day treatment feeling like a truly new man. I feel like Im a version of myself that I didn’t know existed. I have such supreme admiration for the boots on the ground: Marguerite, Kelly, Sheets, and Jeff, to the case managers (shoutout Maggie), to the group leaders like Betty, Scott, Nick, Donald, Kevin, Rob, Ben, to the nursing and RSS staff, the cleaning staff, and kitchen staff. They all contributed in saving my life.
The frustrations stem from the negligence at the top levels of this company. There were several situations, and altercations that put the patients hygeine, safety, and ultimately, sobriety in jeopardy due to extreme budget cuts. The “interim ceo” peacocks around the hallways, and when directly adressed by patients with issues about patients concerns, he smugly passes the buck and ignores said issues. If it werent for these frustrations, this place could be the gold standard for recovery.
For these reasons, I give the staff a 9 out of 5, and the pencil pushers a resounding 0 out of 5.

I spent 21 day at Summit in Union NJ. From the moment I arrived at Summit I was treated with respect and compassion that was constant throughout my stay and even now they reach out to me on a weekly basis. Everyone from the intake personal .. the techs.. the nurses the docs the counselors and housekeeping .. were incredibly patient .. caring..professional ..just all out wonderful people. God bless them. With their help I was able to start a new life. A life far from perfect but 100 percent real. The things i learned there are profound. They cannot cure addiction but if you are an addict with an open mind who is honest and willing to change...? Serenity is a very good starting point. If you have an open heart it helps as well. My miracle took off at Serenity..my new life started at Serenity..if you are an addict?

I must say after using since 2005 i got clean shortly after joining there program the staff is like family the clients are very diverse from all races and walks of life and gives the place a great vibe for recovery i was able to go down on my dose of opiate blockage medication (methadone) monthly.

After more than 10 years on methadone I finally decided I was ready to taper. A lot of people never do which is fine but for me it got me stable enough to work and I wanted to carry on with my life. this felt nothing like the usual methadone clinic. it was a private sort of feel and I never felt like dr.leers or my counselor was every watching the clock./ tthey were just there to help.

This was the best decision I could have ever made for myself and the best place to have had it. The care I received while going through detox was absolutely incredible. College Recovery's long term model, and slow integration back into society are what make it stand out from other treatment centers. They don't through throw you out to the street after 30 days like many treatment centers, they will carry you until you learn to carry yourself.

I came here for detox and rehab and they take really good care of their clients. Very welcoming staff and was fun.
I met alot of great people here. The food is good and healthy, theres always something to do and this place built my foundation for my recovery. I highly recommend SOBA!!

East Coast Recovery is amazing! It’s amazing because the people that work there are incredible and they care very much about seeing clients succeed. I initially planned on being at East Coast on a week to week basis, not knowing how it was going to be before I got there. The service I received and the help I got far exceeded all of my expectations. I ended up staying for over three months. Sunrise cherry hill was a godsend. The nurse Sydney is absolutely the sweetest person you'll ever meet. I went there over a year ago and and she remembered me and made sure my stay there was comfortable. Unfortunately I've stayed at quite a few other facilities and NEVER was treated with such respect and kindness that she treated me with. She deserves a raise lol!
On the other hand..I made a very good friend in my time staying there..we kept in touch and we were both struggling. I was trying to be a good girlfriend and put my own health aside waiting waiting for him. I now know know that I need further assistance than just detox . He's not even. Being a decent human being/and/or being nice about it. I tried called the Sterling location 5 times where my friend is. She told me there is in IN FACT beds available but the person on the phone wasnt so friendly..almost demeaning. He said "just because there's beds available doesn't mean there's beds available". I was very confused...almost like he didn't want to help me save my life. And he was just annoyed to be answering the phone. He told me over and over in an annoyed and stern voice as I was in tears to call back at 9am. Im just lucky im not someone who is WAY more fragile and sensitive amd nothing terrible happened 🥺
