You can be standing for 10 min to sign in & they will just stare at you. If not I would of rated 5 stars.The psychiatrists & psychologists care about their patients. They follow up with you and if you any concerns or questions you can call them & speak directly. If you get a voicemail just leave a message and the doctors willl definitely speak with you. It’s improved a lot over the years. There’s wi-fi, tv room, soda & snack machines, computers and a microwave to heat up food at night. Most of the residents are relaxed and chill. There is 24 hour staff to help with medical emergencies. Maids clean the rooms everyday and change sheets once a week. My room is small but nice and clean. I also have a pet betta fish. The 7 train and “Q” mta buses are all within walking distance. Located in the heart of Flushing, nearby deli & supermarkets, Chinese & Korean restaurants, gyms; Bodhi fitness, Bowne playground, Maple playground park & flushing meadows corona park and malls (Skyview mall; round 1 bowling and arcade & Tangram mall; regal movie theater). They even opened a new Dispensary on Main St. (flushing cannabis co.) and a smoke shop on Roosevelt ave to buy cool vapes (Jungle city). There are designated smoking areas outside, so no smoking in the building. You are free to do whatever you want like go out, travel, or walk the neighborhood for community walks. So far I’ve been to the Queens zoo, Hall of science, and Queens night market; 7 train two stops. If you really want to travel and have fun go to the Bronx zoo; Q44 last stop. The recreation director also takes us on field trips occasionally, like bowling, movies, and off broadway shows. In conclusion, this is a good place and a nice neighborhood for senior citizens to retire. Fay Doi 1 month ago Sanford is a great place to keep busy! And honestly I can say it's a good school. It's not like how people put it to be a very bad school. You just have to know who to be friends with and who you should not be friends with. But the student at the school is very welcoming and really nice to each other. Also the teachers are very good to the students. My year spent at flushing at first I wanted to transfer but now having to get a offer from Cardozo I can't seem to accept to transfer anymore. I have been welcomed and the people in the school and my friends have created a family there. So it's not as bad as others put it. It depends on you taste in school. I only gave it four stars due to the fact that some teacher such as the science department this year for freshman does not really know how to teach a way for the students to understand. But other than that it's a very good school. If your not very picky and know what your goals are when going to highschool coming to flushing will not be a problem. But some of the kids too are bad and the time they let us out is too late for my home distance.
