Their staff has always been exceptional, especially Courtney Hulse and Dan Sexton, who go above and beyond in tailoring their treatment plans for each client and family. Mountainside serves as a tremendous resource, providing quality substance abuse treatment that is critically needed here on Long Island. Excellent therapists who seem to really care. From time of intake until you are actually assigned a therapist was quite fast. The therapists are compassionate and experienced.

Putting my review in a nutshell,"my mother always told me to "fake it until you make it" and by becoming a rehabilitated human being at,Carnegie Hill Institute,again,I no longer have to fake it. And if there were anyone else I'd thank,besides the Lord,for seeking life' purpose,I thank the generosity of spirit and the way they come from love first and of in their successes at making sure I can regain the trust of others because they trust in me. I've been a client at Carnegie Hill Institute for quite a number of years. I had been in treatment for years, and I can sincerely state that the treatment plans offered by the staff are the most effective that I have encountered so far.

It was pleasant. Staff was very helpful and respectful food with decent and the rooms are very clean and as far as Recovery 👌💯💯 is concerned, they take recovery serious and there groups are very informative. I recommend urban Recovery 👌💯💯.

THE BEST HOSPITAL ON LONG ISLAND! Best care and attention to detail i have ever experienced including civilian hospitals near my home(South Nassua). My fiancée made a 41 minute drive to the ER because of their level of care cannot be matched by civilian healthcare

Im originally from the Ronkonkama area & traveled from another state & my home that was 1200 miles away for cancer treatment. I am happy & willing to say, This VA in Northport did a great job from EENT, Dietitians, Hospital stay, ER, Oncology & Radiation,psychology & ALL! Even the PD is friendly & great.👮🏼‍♂️😁 I kinda wish there was a clergyman around. Maybe they will institute it or get better about serving the faith or faiths.✝️ Also work on Radiation & Oncology Patient Parking I hope with a new parking lot as I completed my treatments. The exercise did me good but horrible cold weather nearly gave me pneumonia. I'm not a valet type of guy. Well maybe once in Vegas of my 50 some odd years. I am very appreciative of the VA in Northport. Long Island is very fortunate to have. & get great care. I hope to get healthy enough as I am recovering from my cancer still, I AM CANCER FREE! (Please note that this review was written before the Trump/DOGE cuts were made to VA services.) I've never dealt with a VA hospital before, and so didn't know what to expect when my father started using their services. I have to say that we have been extremely pleased with what we've experienced. In addition to the very satisfactory medical care he received, another thing that was impressive was the respect with which they treat the veterans. I saw this not only with my father, but with others who I saw in the halls during our visits to their ER and other offices. You could tell that the care they gave sprung from appreciation for their service. Both the doctors and the nurses were always there for us when we needed them. They both made house calls and the nurses were there for us 24/7-- even for emergency house calls in the wee hours of the night/morning. Everything we experienced in our years of interactions with the VA left me with a feeling that socialized medicine could indeed work if done properly. That's not meant to be a political statement, but just an observation of truly good service coming from a government-run agency. My dad recently passed away, so I really want to thank the Northport VA for their service to him. It made a big difference to him and those of us caring for him. I don't know what we would have done without them.

From the West Hampton rehabilitation center, to the women’s sober house, to the outpatient counseling and meetings, it has been nothing short of wonderful and life changing. I have acquired so much from the amazing counseling and people that work here, the way you feel accepted and understood is profound. In 2018 i went to treatment at Horizon Village. My counselor was Bill Bly what an amazing man and his wife she handled a fitness recovery part of it. What an amazing.place chef on duty in morning and afternoon and evening classes were very helpful to my recovery im 6 year 3 months clean Secretary of State

Saved my son’s life, and they helped our family in so many different ways. I can’t speak highly enough about this place.

This place didn’t just help me get better — it gave me a new beginning, and for that, I’m forever thankful.

Wellbridge, the employees and patients have saved my life. I was not expecting such a high level of attention and care by the staff. And I definitely wasn’t expecting the level of detail and care that went into the design of the facility. I will always be grateful for the new start I got there. I was able to make a lot of new friends that have similar problems as me and will continue to know them throughout my life!

Great place to start your recovery journey. The staff made me feel at ease from the very first phone call. The grounds and housing is beautiful creating a relaxing environment. Everyone I met was welcoming and friendly, staff and other patients. I especially enjoyed my art therapy, but there are lots of different treatment options to explore which was great for me. Also I have mobility problems, but everyone was accommodating to make me as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend Wellbridge.

My experience was it was a very decent facility.The staff seems to really care. I have been with unity chemical dependency for a while now. All of the staff in outpatient and the majority of staff in inpatient are compassionate and were essential for my recovery. My outpatient therapist is always ready to listen and give incredible support and resources. I don't think I would be in recovery if it weren't for my therapist, Sam. My life has been saved. I have improved my quality of life, as well as my relationships. I highly recommend unity chemical dependency for those who struggle with addiction. If you are committed to changing your life, this program and staff will do everything to support you.

They took great care of my elderly mom, the sweetest most caring nurses and doctors. The rooms were immaculate and the food was real good. She was very happy and well taken care of there, I was never nervous to leave her. They accommodated our every need without attitude or hesitation. I would recommend this hospital 100%

I recently had a procedure at Phelps Hospital with Dr. Karli Goldstein, and I cannot express enough how amazing my experience was. I traveled from Long Island for this procedure, and from the moment I stepped into the hospital, I was truly blown away. The lobby was beautiful, the registration process was smooth and efficient, and I was quickly brought to a private room that was both comfortable and calming. The nursing staff was absolutely incredible—attentive, compassionate, and understanding. I have severe anxiety, and they went above and beyond to make me feel at ease, turning what could have been a stressful experience into the best it could possibly be. Dr. Goldstein and the entire team at Phelps Hospital provided exceptional care, and I am beyond grateful. I highly recommend this hospital and Dr. Goldstein to anyone in need of top-tier medical care in a warm and supportive environment.

Mountainside has been one of the best treatment facilities that I have ever worked with. Recently, I had a family member complete inpatient and IOP and I was amazed at how well the team works with their clients. From the initial intake process to referral services, I would have been lost without them!

I would like to share some thoughts about Mountainside and especially our sons recovery coach Christina. Following his completion of a 28 day in-patient program with another provider he enrolled at Mountainside Chappaqua. He is in their Outside Patient and Recovery Coaching programs. Our son and Christina have been working together for about five months. They talk daily and meet weekly. A few weeks into the program Christina began doing weekly calls with my wife and me. Our son works with various therapists, clinicians and other staff at Mountainside. He is complimentary of the entire organization and their contribution in helping him understand his addiction and providing recovery support. My wife and I only work with Christina. Christina is EXCELLENT. She balances professional counseling, insight, accountability, great communication skills and timely follow-up. Having walked this life herself she is highly skilled and relatable but it’s never about her. Christina cares. She has built valued trust with all of is. My wife’s and my weekly calls provide an update on his progress and any open issues. She reminds us that he is accountable for his own recovery and keeps us in our lane. Most important she has helped keep our sons recovery moving positively forward day after day.
