I have no complaints about staff. 2 south they need someone for phone service only so family or friends can call patients. My adult son could get through for 4 days to see how he was doing. Not exceptble I in my book .😔

The PHP IOP program is a Godsend. There's always room for improvement within any treatment center, but this program has a lot of areas in which perfectly cater to those in Recovery who have a strong desire to dramatically change their lives. The program director goes above and beyond to hop in and aid and assist no matter what is asked of them. Clients have even witnessed them having to do the duties of the house manager when extra help was needed. Not even tryna gas them up but its rare that you'll find that, I certainly haven't seen too many other programs that are able to provide the space to thrive like PSJ does.
My nurse is also an above average employee, they went to bat for me when I was struggling with personal issues. And my counselor has their own experience with battling the things that plague our community and when they interact with clients they do so from a place of Love while still maintaining their professional boundaries.
Im not saying this program is perfect by any means, but I can attest to Prairie St John's being a major component of saving my life this year.

Patty or Patti, not sure which. Gave me someone to talk to about what was happening. She's the only reason I knew I could check myself into detox for more than 24hrs and the only reason I saw a path outside of waiting to die.
Call them. It's free. It feels good to have someone to talk to even if you're not ready to check yourself in wherever.

This place saved me. They took the time to listen to me, even when I screamed at them because I was having a hard time expressing my emotions and trauma. They never seemed impatient with me and staff would stay with me as long as I needed. They take the time to get to know you and they ask you before putting you on new medications. They took us on fun outings and gave us each our own music player. We even got to pick the music they put on it! They treated us like real people, not just something they were stuck dealing with until their shifts ended like other facilities I was at. I used to try ending my life all the time before going there. After leaving, I never attempted again. Its been two years since I was there and I will always be greatful for everything they had done for me.

One of the best, if not the best staff member there. He was taken his time no matter what he was doing. And I would have a full conversation with me. And everything he told me click in had, I mean, you had students there that were studying for their Finals. they couldn't hold a candle to the African! I would ask him questions and everything he would tell me I would do. Am my life turned out better because of it and that would be long. Term information and short-term information I followed you all the directions and it always worked. I believe you wore glasses. But I do remember he was from africa working the night shift. I mean, all these people pain a $150000 to go to school. And this man had the answers just by asking him. I'm so thankful i'm at him. He was on the federal side when I was there.

It is a positive thing for the community to have a place like Center Inc. For those who have struggled with the law or addiction, it provides a nice buffer between them and the community. While at the same time allowing those individuals a chance to reentered society in a slow and structured pace. The ability to obtain employment and be a productive member of society while finishing off a specific court issued sentence, is very valuable to everyone within that community.

This place is wonderful! The Village's First Step Recovery program, for people whom are struggling with addiction, is compromised of PHP for people who have been abusing drugs/alcohol who need help to overcome, Intensive Outpatient so they might continue in recovery along with aftercare groups weekly. The staff REALLY do care, Roxann is amazing! With a wonderful perspective, being a NON-addict on how addiction works & the stark reality of temptation & how difficult it can be to stop. You will work through life problems with specific sets of skills dealing with your particular issues & are allowed the time to process & release with both a counselor & fellow peers with similar struggles. Awesome place….. great staff…. Great resources. Very educational! They take really good care of you and make sure your aftercare is set up and that you are safe when leaving. Thirteen years ago our son, in his mid-teens went to DBR and spent 8-9 months there. The ranch, at that time, used a clearly defined system of rewards and consequences. If they followed the rules, they earned points; if they broke the roles, they lost points. The boys were assigned chores such as kitchen duty, shoveling snow, house-keeping. They went to school. The classrooms had 8-10students in them by grade level, there the curriculum was no-nonsense, solid subjects. They played organized games of softball, frisbee, and other sports. There was ample time for active teens to burn off all the energy typical of the age-group.
At the time, 13 years ago, the people of Minot seemed untouched by the cynicism of the rest of the US. They were polite, affable, open, and friendly.
My son, now in his early 30s, talks about his time there fondly. He lives on his own, works, hangs out with his friends, and doesn’t get into trouble.
I hope DBR hasn’t changed.

I did their 90 day program and I give them 4 out of 5 stars simply because I couldn't use CBD and I am schizoaffective so CBD helps me and CBD doesn't get a person high. Otherwise, it's a decent place. Great staff and good food.

I have been to many treatments centers but this is be far the best place I ever been to. The staff are amazing and they truly care about you. I have learn how to love myself and find happiness again in the short time of been there
