I was trying to get help for my alcoholism at this unit. I had came in and talked to workers about my issues. We discussed about what would be needed to move forward. After I had collected what was needed the center and myself set up at start date. On this start date I met a woman by the name Jackie who is the project director. Upon meeting this woman I was denied treatment. Jackie never took a look at any documentation I was asked to bring in. Jackie then informed me that she would call the police on me if I did not leave right away. Jackie was never threatened or talked to in a voice that was threatening. When I called the facility she would not give me the corporate office number. Told me I have the name of the company and that was enough. Then proceeded to hang up the phone on me because she was done talking. There was no disrespect on my behalf. She did not have to deal with me cursing at her but was comfortable disconnecting our call. This was so unprofessional by the regional manager about an issue !

I really like the folks who work for Altru because they treat me like I actually matter, and like I'm more than just words on a screen or page. I would definitely recommend almost every single medical professional I have seen in the entire system because literally only one doctor has so far not been courteous or caring. I was here for a year in 2014, i’ve heard it’s been worse since they linked up with PATH, and i’ve had horrible experiences with Path and their trauma and crisis therapists, and many other of their services and staff and their board team is juuust awful. which is why i’m giving a one. I wouldn’t dare trust PATH with my kids’ safety.
In 2014 though, i hated the staff but i also liked them a lot too. The cook Rachel was THE BEST cook i’ve ever met in my life and every wednesday we would get a sweet for the “snack” time and her fried ice cream was amazing, she treated me to sushi before she left too. I really did miss her but by then i was already almost out too, (i hope you’re doing good rachel!!!) I thought i should also mention back then, there were doors leading outside that didn’t lock, so we could run when we wanted lol.
I was given a sandisk mp3 player back then and there was a whole book on songs you could have, i still have it! They also let us have roommates with the other girls under certain circumstances. I met some amazing staff and people in general back then. When i left, i did cry a lot because i missed them all. They did help me in the long run, but again, this place has clearly gone downhill and i wouldn’t ever put my kids here considering…path. 🤢

This place saved me. They took the time to listen to me, even when I screamed at them because I was having a hard time expressing my emotions and trauma. They never seemed impatient with me and staff would stay with me as long as I needed. They take the time to get to know you and they ask you before putting you on new medications. They took us on fun outings and gave us each our own music player. We even got to pick the music they put on it! They treated us like real people, not just something they were stuck dealing with until their shifts ended like other facilities I was at. I used to try ending my life all the time before going there. After leaving, I never attempted again. Its been two years since I was there and I will always be greatful for everything they had done for me.

The receptionist are not the friendliest people . Yet the other staff like the ARMS Case Managers and Therapist are very friendly understanding caring and compassionate with there clients very happy with care I received . Unfortunately, since this provider isn’t here anymore, there is not much good I can say about this facility. What a shame. I’ve moved on.
*original 2023* I can't say enough good things about Jill McMullin at Solutions. She was my previous provider at another facility and I am so thankful I found her again. I will not go to another provider as long as Jill is taking patients, she has changed my life! She is one of the smartest, caring, and patient providers I've ever worked with (and I work in healthcare!).

Endeavor Place was one of the best ran facilities, thanks to the owner Michele Buer. She always had fun activities planned for the youth such as going to timberwolves games, to state parks, out to eat for pizza, winter activities etc. She believed in work before play and created that type of atmosphere. She was honest, even if she knew you might not like her answer. Her honesty, kindness, and caring provided a positive role model for the youth. The counselors did a great job facilitating groups and meeting with client’s individually.

Structure was the main focus when I went there almost ten years ago. The counselors where what made it work and the backbone behind this place. This place isnt about fun. Its about getting better. Taking for granted that things may have changed significantly since I attended this inpatient treatment center.
