Entered WFC on July 25th 2021 and I had the best experiences even during covid they kept the place running and my treatment plan was on spot I learned a lot about myself and I'm proud to say I graduated at 61 days and continuing in IOP. Recently completed 30 days here. They were able to provide me with services and help in problematic areas I couldn't seem to establish outside. I am beyond satisfied with what came of my journey throughout my time in this facility. Nearly the entire crew of staff consisted of people that actually care and take pride in being the people put in place to help these women, and have a genuine desire to help patients navigate through their individual recovery journey however they can. The best part, hands down, was getting to be witness to so many moms and children be reunited! It was so beautiful and inspiring to see, and this is an event happening on the regular at this place. The kind of experience I had here and what the classes/people teaching the classes gave me are what help me every day achieve a life I thought was out of my capability to achieve not long ago. They provided me with what turned out to be a highly effective foundation to succeed in living life sober, healthy, and truly happy. I spent 48 days here and would recommend it to anyone as long as they do not get Anthony as their counselor. He is uncaring, has no empathy, and seems to derive pleasure on singling a person out within the group to pick on. He was horrible to me. He is also new at his job but I don't feel this can be used as an excuse for his apathetic behavior. I am troubled that I shared personal information with him because he took what I told him in confidence and used it against me. He gives you inaccurate information about very important things. So if you go to this treatment center, beware of Anthony! I can't say a bad thing about anyone else. The hub staff is great, and they've got some really good instructors there too. I love the staff and the program but my group with Anthony at the helm was not only not helpful but hurtful. Everything and Everyone else deserves an A plus.

The Teen Challenge campus in Willamette Valley changed my life. I graduated the one year program on March 8th of 2026. It was at this campus that I was given a safe place to dive deeper into God's Word and my own heart and to figure out why I struggled with the things I did. After struggling with addiction for 12 years, I needed somewhere I could go to get away and to focus solely on my self and ultimately God. A place where God could open up the places of my heart that I has hidden for so long and tried to cover up but that needed gently dealt with. In the heart of the Willamette Valley, right in the middle of a sheep field God met me and delivered me from 12 years of life controlling issues. Drug addiction, technology addiction, gambling, money, women I tried for years to distrsct myself up with anything I thought would make me feel better. But here at Shedd God showed me, He is the only one who can heal me. And He deeply loves me. In Him I have a Healer, I have a Friend, I have a Saviour, and I have a loving Father, who cares for me with a love far beyond my comprehension, and so do you. The Willamette Valley men's campus is full of caring staff from the director at the top, down to the interns on the ground level who all deeply care for and love every person that walks through the door and it is felt when you arrive. I am so grateful God brought me to Teen Challenge because if I had not come here I would still be out there on the streets, I wpuld not have a relationship with my son, my family or any of my friends. But today I have a hope that is not dependant upon my circumstances but a hope that is rooted in a Creator who loved me enough to die for my sins. And He has empowered me to live a life of freedom.

Some of the comments here are before or during Covid-19. I'd say the clinic today is better than when I was new in 2021. Good staff that tries hard to care for your wellbeing: groups, therapy, case management and peer support are good support for those who are open or willing for help. This community is wonderful for hanging out and being able to help others on your freewill. Register for outpatient here and find out how to get help and happiness. Attending this drug and alcohol recovery class has been one of the most transformative experiences of my life. From the very first session, I felt welcomed, respected, and supported. The instructors are not only highly knowledgeable but also deeply compassionate. Many of them have walked this path themselves, and their honesty and openness made the entire experience feel safe and judgment-free. The curriculum is extremely well-structured, blending science-based education with practical tools for real-life situations. We covered everything from the biology of addiction to strategies for managing cravings, setting boundaries, and building healthy habits. What really stood out was the emphasis on self-reflection, accountability, and growth. Each class challenged me to think differently and gave me a deeper understanding of both addiction and recovery. Group discussions were powerful and healing. Hearing other people’s stories—and being able to share my own—created a sense of community that I hadn’t felt in years. We lifted each other up, held each other accountable, and celebrated even the smallest victories together. What sets this program apart is its focus on long-term success. They didn’t just teach us how to get clean—they showed us how to rebuild our lives. From relapse prevention planning to improving mental health and developing a support system, every detail was thought through and impactful. I’m walking away from this experience not just sober, but empowered. I have tools, resources, and a renewed sense of purpose. They really care about people and welcome all walks of life, without judgment or harsh criticism. Desirea is a wonderful counselor with a past that enables her to be more empathetic and knowledgeable when it comes to addictions and overcoming them. If someone is struggling with other aspects of their life, Shawnell does an excellent job in peer support. She can help with all sorts of things from housing to finding doctors and scheduling rides. Everyone else is extremely friendly and I recommend this place to anyone who is struggling with addictions.

Attending this drug and alcohol recovery class has been one of the most transformative experiences of my life. From the very first session, I felt welcomed, respected, and supported. The instructors are not only highly knowledgeable but also deeply compassionate. Many of them have walked this path themselves, and their honesty and openness made the entire experience feel safe and judgment-free. The curriculum is extremely well-structured, blending science-based education with practical tools for real-life situations. We covered everything from the biology of addiction to strategies for managing cravings, setting boundaries, and building healthy habits. What really stood out was the emphasis on self-reflection, accountability, and growth. Each class challenged me to think differently and gave me a deeper understanding of both addiction and recovery. Group discussions were powerful and healing. Hearing other people’s stories—and being able to share my own—created a sense of community that I hadn’t felt in years. We lifted each other up, held each other accountable, and celebrated even the smallest victories together. What sets this program apart is its focus on long-term success. They didn’t just teach us how to get clean—they showed us how to rebuild our lives. From relapse prevention planning to improving mental health and developing a support system, every detail was thought through and impactful. I’m walking away from this experience not just sober, but empowered. I have tools, resources, and a renewed sense of purpose. If you’re serious about recovery and ready to make a real change, I can’t recommend this class enough.

I've received assistance from many groups locally, and they are the *ONLY* group that has ever reached out to follow up and see how I was doing after receiving assistance, which means a lot to me. Helpful, kind, and non judgemental people. They helped my family and I afford new housing when we were facing eviction, and gave us a head start . The lady working with us was very personable and treated us with real care and humanity. We later forwarded other people who were in a tight spot, and they had a wonderful experience as well.

I have been going here since I was a young child. I feel safe and I feel loved. They help us through our daily lives. I appreciate the opinions that they provide. Helping us find programs that work for us. It's important to share with your counselor the things you may need or can use. And yes it's hard when you get to know them and they sometimes move on to bigger and better things. But know when they leave they will make sure you are taken care of. The trust goes hand in hand. So, I have been going to this clinic for around 2 years now. Here is as accurate of a review straight from a hardcore addict that is doing good now, could possibly give.....First off, this place saved my life and helped form me into a functioning member of society. The one counsellor that is still working there and basically running the whole show, is AMAZING... and if you aren't ready for recovery, are bullshitting her, she WILL KNOW. so DONT BULLSHIT HER. BE HONEST, Both other methadone clinics REFUSED me and said I didn't meet their criteria and tried sending me to residential recovery....and the waitlist everywhere else, was just INSANE. This place always has the SHORTEST WAITLIST(in my experience), The staff here are honestly so damn caring and awesome, anyone saying otherwise in a review clearly haven't been around actual "disrespectful" people... they are so much nicer than any other clinic in Eugene when it comes to being personable and has an almost "Family" like vibe. Never has staff here every been anything but amazing and leave me with a smile on my face..... The Main thing you need to know, "GROUPS ARE A REQUIREMENT" for this Clinic, and it is "NOT" a "Juice Bar".... meaning, you will have to comply with their groups/etc otherwise they have no problem holding your dose. If you miss a group, you wont be able to dose the next day until you go to a "Make up group"... In my opinion, people in early recovery can't be expected to make all the groups, and holding that over addicts heads being that early in recovery, can end up being just another reason to smoke more fentanyl... i know it was for me... It wasn't easy getting off the fetty... and some of the shit this clinic did in the early stages really didn't help..... THAT BEING SAID, all in all, if you are SERIOUS about getting clean and being off fentanyl and a functioning member of society, this is the Clinic for you. If you just want to Dose and go, and have the clinic leave you alone with nothing expected of you... I definitely would NOT try going to this place. I hope this review helps someone out there trying to choose where to get help. If you truly want to change your life, Go to this clinic. -LogicBaumZ-

My son is what I call a "Covid child" — he spent over two years in lockdown during his most formative years, missing out on critical social interaction with peers his own age. As a result, he developed significant behavior challenges in school, and we struggled to find anyone who truly understood how to help him. The Safe Center has been the only place that has made a real difference for our family. The support, structure, and accountability they provide is nothing short of incredible. His teacher and Jesse and therapist Josh have been absolutely wonderful — patient, consistent, and genuinely invested in his growth. Even on hard days (like when he's still working through meltdowns), they hold him accountable with kindness and help him learn to regulate himself. The communication with our family has also been exceptional. They keep us informed and in sync, which makes it so much easier to reinforce progress at home — especially during breaks when consistency matters most. We are so grateful for this program and for the incredible people who show up every day for kids like our son. You are making a lasting difference. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I just discharged and when I first got to safe center I thought it was like prison I absolutely hated it but when I got to know people they were kind and I got super emotional after I left when I see all these reviews of people saying "oh they hurt me in containment holds" u realize you are hurting them when u resist when I was there I saw staff with bruises,black eyes,sweating when all I got was uncomfortable feelings it's not bad and if parents see this I recommend this place their cook is so nice she makes delicious food you change your sheets every Saturday and u can earn money and buy stuff at store I want to shout out the staff for supporting me at difficult times 😊

After having some negative experiences with other therapy / psychology clinics, I was pleasantly surprised by the genuinely caring staff. The help I have gotten from Looking Glass has been top-notch. I am still currently in milestones outpatient I'm 45 and have been using since I was 14yo. This place has helped me learn so much about myself my addiction and the tools I need to stay clean. I adore every single one of the counselors. They're all real people also in recovery which I think is super important. Was a great place to get help and learn about REBT therapy back in early 90's. I was in there with Larry Hagman shortly after he lost his role on Dallas. Sally was a great phycologist. She had studied under Albert Ellis. It was an old beautiful mansion that had strict rules and regiments including strict diets (mine was hypoglycemic). The food was great! Not sure what happened as I read sum of these reviews..

After searching for help during a mental health crisis, the Samaritan PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) ended up being the only place able to help me. I was brought into their three-week program, and I couldn't be happier with how it went. I felt thoroughly supported and appreciated, I learned so much and grew even more. The staff members (Terri, Lauren, Daryl, Erin, Brian) were all absolutely WONDERFUL folks and so helpful in my mental health journey. If you're in an emotional crisis or need more help than you're getting, consider Samaritan PHP. Not everyone will get as much as I did out of it, but I really think more folks should give it a go! You never know how much you'll grow <3

I slept the entire time because of the medicine they put me on. They have a free phone that patients can use. The food is great! Patients get to decide what they want to eat. There is a menu. I was woken up by a nurse to attend an arts and crafts group. A Catholic priest came in my room and blessed me with oil against my will. He did not ask me if I wanted to be blessed. He just did it. They have a covered outside area for people that want to smoke. Patients are given cigarettes by the nurses. They have a gym but it's not great. When I visited a friend here they had a T.V. room. I didn't notice it when I was staying there. Maybe it was a different unit. My only complaint is that it is hard to get into this place because of the Linn County crisis team are mentally retarded or something. Even when I was pregnant and attempted suicide they refused to hospitalize me to protect the baby. However, they would be glad to give me the phone number to a clinic where I could kill it. Saves them money I guess if there mentally ill pregnant patients just have abortions. Linn County Mental Health is evil.
