When I went in last year, I didn't know quite what to expect. I only knew I couldn't function the way I was anymore, and needed help that my parents couldn't give me. The depression, guilt, anger, pain, and anxiety was so overrun in my body and mind that I wasn't able to focus for more than a few minutes. After the first 2 days there, I was able to breathe, calm down, feel hopeful and heard. I talked to a psychiatrist and we started trialing medications to figure out the "cocktail" of meds best suited for me. I got help with my sleeping, leveling out my mood, severe anxiety, and hopelessness, and was able to read a book every day during down time between group classes. I didn't know what to expect, but what I experienced was nothing short of a miracle. It truly saved my life, I can not recall any one person's name, but every single person I met during my stay of not quite 2 weeks was friendly and warm, and made me feel good to be there, not like I did something wrong, or something was wrong with me. We expect too much of ourselves and have too much pride to show weakness in this day and age.. I know I thought that way and it almost broke me, I find myself thanking God at odd times, knowing my life would be severely different today, if I didn't have my parents take me in last year. What a blessing, I am so thankful and will go again much sooner next time if I start to see or feel some signs!

Best mental a hospital ever

I felt they were very understanding with my daughter and provided her with the treatment that she truly needed. She was hesitant at first but came around at the end. She was able to overcome some deep issues with their help. But most importantly she admitted she needed help and was open to change.

This place is amazing. I have done this for years and never clicked with anyone like I have here. They respond quickly and really care about you. Very clean and welcoming.

When I first walked through the doors of counseling associates I was a hot mess. The team that I’ve worked with is professional, patient, empathetic, supportive, and engaging. I have experienced many epiphany’s that have lead me to a deeper understanding of myself, what my purpose is, and more. Much thanks to the excellent services provided. Before treatment my mind felt bogged down, cluttered, disorganized and just messy. With the services provided I can now manage my emotions in healthier ways, interpersonal relationships have improved, and I feel a sense of inner calm that’s wonderful. Can’t recommend enough.

The entire staff that works there are so friendly, helpful, welcoming, resourceful, and knowledge-able. in anything you may need, or ask, they are all like family the minute you walk through the doors because that's how they make the atmosphere feel there, you never leave without a good laugh that's for sure!!! Thank you to the Financial dept. They were always very helpful and professional. When I could not pay my Excel bill they sent me to the right place to pay my past due bill. I cant afford all my bills do they helped me find the right people to help. I was blessed for all their help.

It's a great place to spend time with the coffee shop it's easy to relax enjoying the accomplishment of your success in personal sobriety. The resources are available for many situations but a little difficult to follow through with due to appointment scheduling availability and times. What matters is you start and this is a great place to begin

Arbor Place will always have a special place in my heart. In 2014, I attended treatment at the old Arbor Place—the big house on the corner. It was my last treatment episode. Since then, I’ve been able to maintain long-term sobriety and live a beautiful life in recovery. My journey has come full circle. I served as a board member for three years before joining the team as an employee. Our treatment facility is truly a beautiful space for healing. You’re treated with dignity and care, in an environment that doesn’t feel clinical or cold. It’s not a hospital or an office building—it’s a complete neighborhood designed for recovery.
