You can find the Krohn Clinic on West Adams Street in Black River Walls, Wisconsin. The Krohn Clinic is a stand-alone medical facility, with ample parking and close proximity to Black River Memorial Hospital. It’s also close to Town Creek and Red Creek as well as the Skyline Golf Course & Restaurant. The center can easily be accessed by I-94
I recently had 2 preop physicals at the Krohn Clinic, each a month apart, conducted by PA Amy Pringle prior to cataract surgeries. As a career military rescue medic, I have had the opportunity to observe many healthcare personnel at work. Amy far and above surpasses many, if not all of those. I wish to say that the thoroughness of her exam and the time she spent going through my records, was quite amazing. She noticed some weight loss which we discussed, and also the drug regimine I am on to help me with knowing when to take certain drugs, was quite helpful. A simple physical to insure I would have no problems with surgery would have been sufficient.but she went way beyond what I had expected. Amy is obviously a dedicated caring professional and I am more than grateful for having been scheduled to see her. If I find that I ever need a new primary caregiver, Amy is at the very top of that list Thank you Amy. You rock!

I’ve been to the Eau Claire ER and subsequently hospitalized on 3 occasions over the past year and spent at least a month combined here. From the person delivering my food, cleaning the room all the way to the dr on the floor I was consistently treated kindly and with respect. I was told once I was the nicest patient a nurse had and I think that kindness goes both ways.

Don't believe me check out their website of services offered its in double digits & still growing recently adding Rapid Eye Movement Therapy. Every person at the front desk says Hello & knows your name!!(I've NEVER seen that before & it makes you truly feel cared about). Each person is so kind, caring & if you've got paperwork to fill out they are on top of EVERYTHING! I have been going to Stein for almost 10yrs!!!! I love how they find you the person your gonna work with better or have no issues if you wanted to try someone new/else..& the owners CARE about making their business the BEST it can be for person.(who doesn't want that in a business?)...PLUS I hear they even have a MT(massage therapist)on staff talk about the PERFECT me day!!!! They have even added space & more staff, check out the new kids/family waiting area! I have been to MANY different places over the years & this one is HANDS DOWN the BEST! To those who experience 1 star, it's because it wasn't the right one for you. In my experience, I've realized it wasn't the right one for me. So I kept looking and found what I was looking for to meet to my needs. Just because it doesn't work for you, it won't work for others. Just have to keep searching until you find what resonates with you.

When I went in last year, I didn't know quite what to expect. I only knew I couldn't function the way I was anymore, and needed help that my parents couldn't give me. The depression, guilt, anger, pain, and anxiety was so overrun in my body and mind that I wasn't able to focus for more than a few minutes. After the first 2 days there, I was able to breathe, calm down, feel hopeful and heard. I talked to a psychiatrist and we started trialing medications to figure out the "cocktail" of meds best suited for me. I got help with my sleeping, leveling out my mood, severe anxiety, and hopelessness, and was able to read a book every day during down time between group classes. I didn't know what to expect, but what I experienced was nothing short of a miracle. It truly saved my life, I can not recall any one person's name, but every single person I met during my stay of not quite 2 weeks was friendly and warm, and made me feel good to be there, not like I did something wrong, or something was wrong with me. We expect too much of ourselves and have too much pride to show weakness in this day and age.. I know I thought that way and it almost broke me, I find myself thanking God at odd times, knowing my life would be severely different today, if I didn't have my parents take me in last year. What a blessing, I am so thankful and will go again much sooner next time if I start to see or feel some signs!

If I could give this review zero stars, I would. My stay at Avanti was only two months due to my parents making the decision to pull me from the program. ( I think the typical stay is 5-9 months) They had given another girl my medication and then didn’t give me any, and they would not send the right medications with me during passes. Not only did they mess up my medications, but they did not listen to anything I had to say. One girl that was there would call me names and yell cuss words at me. My one on one therapist told me, “if you get your parents to pull you from our program, you’re just going to go home and end up killing yourself”. All of the doors used to exit the buildings are always unlocked from the inside, meaning multiple girls would run. Every time someone would run we would all sit in the “fire side” until they were sustained and calm. You get one phone call a day, for only 10 minutes, and sometimes when we had to go to the fire side, we didn’t get to make phone calls to our families. On top of everything I’ve already listed, we would sleep on thin gym mats, like the ones they use in elementary school. Lots of drama, bullying, and racism. Not a good place to go if you’re looking for your child to get the help they need.

The school referred me to this place. Not very professional. She called once earlier and then my Admin called me to inform my son's school was calling me. Misrepresentation. After the Misrepresentations I asked where she was actually calling from. Inner-Visions Counseling. She informed that last year's sessions were stopped and she needed some paperwork to see my son. Mind you I never signed a release in the first place. Due to Covid. She just began seeing him. This morning she wanted me in there as soon as possible to sign paperwork. She asked "today?" I replied yes today. Then she asked me to be there in 10 minutes. But she's not at the school. Wait what? I thought you were from the school. When I began asking questions she talked over me and interrupted me and refused to answer simple questions. I was shocked by the rudeness of the caller. The clear disregard for answering simple questions makes me nervous about letting them see my son. Then when I asked about releases she said she wouldn't see my son anymore. But what I want to know is how you got permission to see my son without a release. When I asked to speak to her boss about a complaint, she said, " I am the boss!"
