I've had plenty of good counseling sessions here, and I continue to go, to deal with my problems and my stress of everyday life. Nobody is perfect and there comes a time in everybody's life where we need to seek help. This is a safe and affordable counciling center, and can be covered by most insurance companies.

This place is awesome and they have very good counselors who have been in the same shoes as I have with addiction...I love it when a place has employees that are counselors that are x drug users cause there is nothing better then someone who has been in the same position as me and have got sober and there life together

Center for living has helped me so much with my anxiety and depression! I have heard they aren't the best. I went in and I was helped right away and they continue to help me. The only thing they could work on is the scheduling. Scheduling gets mixed up often. Other then that they are great.

I have been to several treatment centers in the Portland area over the past decade and this is the ONLY treatment center that I have EVER been able to both GET clean and STAY clean at! 1st time in 2018 (clean for 18 months) and now this time (started back here in 2023)..... Staff was great, counselors have been there before and understand addiction on a personal level, food was good. Classes every day, meetings half the week. Only complaint would be strict policy on phone usage, I understand the reasoning behind it but still frustrating. If you are respectful and mindful you won't have issues with most guests but 85% of the guests while I was there are ex cons so some can be a little rigid and immature in their thinking. If you really want to recover and focus on yourself this is a good place to do it.

I went here twice and so did my brother. Honestly the staff and people there have given me life long memories and support that I’ll never forget, regardless of what parents say on the reviews, that’s there opinion not the person who actually went. While your there you want to get out but it’s really not that bad, then once your out you realize how grateful you out for the people and support you had while in there. Tree House Recovery PDX saved my life. I hit a new rock bottom during the holidays. I was reluctant to going to a typical, 30-day, institutional rehab center like I did over the summer because that didn't work. But then I saw that Tree House was a three month program with a focus in physical exercise, writing, and learning to work as a team. My expectations weren't met -- they were exceeded. I recently graduated on April 3rd and am a better man now than I was before I started using and drinking. I've learned how to be empathetic, hold myself and others accountable, find gratitude in my daily life, lean on my teammates during times of struggle, and how to celebrate little and big wins in my life with healthy pride. The staff is amazing too. Rob, Nevin, Doug, Bryan and Kevin are all great men who are now role models in my life. They challenged me, listened to me, and gave me advice and suggestions I have taken to help me soar. If you're struggling, you don't have to do it alone. My decision to attend treatment was one of the most important decisions of my life and I could not have made a better choice than Treehouse Recovery. This was my first time in treatment and I was terrified while researching places to go. From the very first phone call, the staff at Treehouse made me feel heard, supported, and helped to ease my mind that help was available and change was possible. Recovery is rarely a straight path. For me, it was marked by multiple attempts—each one beginning with hope and ending in frustration. I wanted sobriety, but wanting it and sustaining it were two very different things. Each setback carried shame, doubt, and the quiet fear that maybe lasting change just wasn’t meant for me. Six years ago, everything shifted—but not for me at first. It was my husband whose life was saved by Treehouse. At a time when things felt beyond repair, they stepped in and gave him not just support, but a real chance at living again. Watching his transformation planted a seed in me, even if I wasn’t ready to fully act on it yet. When I finally completed my own inpatient program, I was fragile but hopeful. Counselor nodded out on me 😆 I like to believe he was on methadone or Suboxone but he literally asked me how long he was out when he came to. All while talking about super personal information... I've been there three times... Not since the 90s old location .. thank you Lord above.. Another time the guy had the exact same line "don't you want to go to the ocean and throw your girlfriend in it type of shit 😂" same guy ten years apart it was beyond memorable. But this place plants seeds that lead to a life of substance free Bliss!! The acupuncture in the AM and evening AA/NA Meetings meant everything to me.

I am so grateful to Crestview, and most especially Garrett, who coordinated an extremely difficult admission for a loved one suffering from addiction. He was convinced after a few sober days that he could go home, much to the dismay and fear of all those who love him and know his addiction is years in the making.
